Ummm, replace blockchain itself? Thats a serious statement. Especially for token(not coin with its chain). Especially for Waves-based. There is a lot of talk about the reliability of investing in tokens on Waves platform. I do not take my decision, only sharing opinion

I daresay if we will have quantum computer, there will be not much time passed when we will get quantum miners. I dont know the details of the most currencies' hashing algorythm, but think that such technology, such computer, can make much more good deeds instead of cracking bitcoin. It can bring the security of bitcoin on another level

I prefer to hodl coins not till it reach some price in satoshi(not even dollar) - I hold it according to their roadmap and sometime check how work is going on. I think most of today's alts will show best prices in 2019-2020, so my hodl is about time, not price

I recommend you to take a look on Mooncoin(old currency which have great changes right now, but in shadows, zero marketing), ELTcoin(interesting pos coin, if you buy till 31 december, you will get up to 30% airdrop on 1st January), BitcoinWhite(new project, dpos, with sidechain(so not ether-based), airdropped half of amount).
And another one recomendation is SONM. This currency will grow whole next year. I dont know will it hit 10$ but it will be 5$ at least. This thing is decentralized fog supercomputer(yeah, like Golem, but not the same). Guys launched mvp a few days ago and all is good, mainnet will be in August.
If you see the current price of Golem(which have got much less things done in years, just imagine) and compare it to SONM now, you will see how far SONM can go.

My point of view - charlie sol it cause bitcoin can enter the long correction. As we know there is no alt which dont react to bitcoin's movements(excluding tether). So I think Charlie knows more than we can imagine

There is one new coin that nobody doesnt know about. It has one of the lowest gains on ICO, but already has working blockchain. And this blockchain is the fastest blockchain ever, at this momet it is artificially limited by 300 000 transactions per second. I will not say what is this coin cuz I want to buy cheap when it enters exchanges But then all the community will get interested with this project

If you see a future as you mentioned - so buy it spending all your money But we already have several Vangas, and one person from the future - and the says that bitcoin will gain out of the solar system instead of moon Maybe Bitcoin is much more smart way to invest

It depends on what you mean by saying "promoting". If you would like to get more buyers on ICO - YouTube I suppose, with correct direct advertisment campaign. If you would like to show how your project is great - this forum and, as mentioned above, medium are best resources, the second way will give you strong community

If we are talking about Ethereum tokens - as mentioned the easiest way to enter the market for token is EtherDelta. But also you can make your token on Waves platform and get to Waves DEX. And if you have coin on its own chain, you can list it on new exchanges such as KuCoin and etc easily

TC, if you want to sell your coins someday(if it is in nearest future) you dont need ledger to stack them. Try Jaxx for example, as mentioned above. And one recommendation - dont use your phone to get access to your wallet(if its not apple ar you are not android-guru)
Cold storage and hardware wallet are needed in case of looong hodling Or big amount of money

This has already been said much more than once and I agree with all authors of these post - buy bitcoin. We dont know how will the altcoin market evolve, but all we know that at the same time bitcoin will get new highs. So if you want to save your money and your nervs - buy bitcoin dip(now) and hold it for years. And dont forget about safety

Everybody keep silent about one coin but I recommend you to buy IOTA. The next year promises to be eventful for this currency, and till 2020 it will hit its highs in price and capitalization. So think about adding it in your portfolio

I recommend you to add reading the coin threads on bitcointalk and other forums. Especially bounty thread, because bounty hunters may know about the project much more average investor. And you can see if team had problems with bounty campaign(if ICO ended)

And I am fully agree with the author. Cause there were scam ICOs(nothing to tell more) and good projects, which got too many money for their product, so they relaxed. The poin is - the biggest thing was made without ICO, airdrop, without bounty, without investors and funds, and this thing continues to spread all over the world more and more
