501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: April 16, 2020, 02:30:39 PM
I have entered several bounties from 2017 to 2019, But I join mostly in 2017 after that on succeeding years I think I have entered not more than 5 bounties. I noticed most of the telegram groups that I have joined almost all of them are dead now or deleted, maybe 95% of it. Even bounty groups like bountyhive have no activity I guess they muted the group and shift to emails for support. There only few good projects and bounties that succeed now so we better find them.
502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SCHEMES WHICH NEWBIES NEEDED TO AVOID. on: April 16, 2020, 01:36:35 PM
I want to add sh*tcoin exchanges on the list newbies should avoid it, I was a victim of it a long time ago, sometimes the scenario is, withdrawal is disabled, super huge withdrawal fees compared to top 10 exchanges, low and fake volume, lot of Bots, No customer support. Requires KYC with below $20 withdrawal. I guess one of it is Biup I don't recommend using an exchange like what I have mentioned.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 ETH Puzzle! on: April 16, 2020, 03:27:26 AM
Also, I was told by a member of the puzzle community the puzzle looks fake, will update when new things, on the meanwhile puzzle hunters should really check links up Smiley I know of over 25 btc and no idea of how much eth given by just the first site, no idea about the second but the second is a fusion between a few crypto puzzle communities.
Same tough.

Probably they only want to raise awareness about their platform and try to get a lot of followers, the image also from "google" if you search the image by using "Google Image Search". They just add the information about the project and eth address on the bottom, here the original painting image: https://artbynelly.com/product/v-print-limited-edition-0001/

I also don't believe too much the balance on that address, need to make a sign message first from the address to prove the ownership of that address from them.
You nailed it, it looks like they are only gathering followers with this trick. If proven fake for sure it will backfire at them. They can't even make original images for this so-called event. Anyways, Let's wait for the OP to clarify himself/herself If they have some explanation about it. Just check their social media there are only a few followers I guess they have just started.
504  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin during lockdown ? on: April 15, 2020, 01:06:44 PM
Mining bitcoin is great with the right mining hardware but if you have only laptop it is not advisable since you are newbie, I suggest trying staking altcoins instead? Bitcoin mining is complicated for you right now, try learning it first. I see you have mention passive income, staking suit you for now. It is very easy to stake some coins have staking features on different wallets like for an example: Cosmos (Atom) they have 7-10% APR you can stake it on TrustWallet, etc., and there are so many POS coins out there, anyways here is the details of ATOM. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cosmos/
But before you try anything do your own research first.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: April 14, 2020, 08:03:44 PM
You have a quite good investment right there, given that those gambling platforms have already gained their respective reputation, I am not familiar on how this investment on gambling site works, I have some few questions on the image I have seen 0.0243% of ROI, Is that a daily ROI or weekly? and what is Dilution fee? I know we can search that on google but I want to hear it from you guys for better understanding.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust Wallet Token discussion. on: April 14, 2020, 07:39:44 PM
Maybe it will be listed on Binance DEX (Decentralized Exchange) and not on Binance CEX (Centralized Exchange), It has a huge supply of 90 Billion TWT token running on binance chain. You can see the details here: https://explorer.binance.org/asset/TWT-8C2 I am estimating the to be lower than 1 cent ($0.01) but TWT is a binance wallet as of now there are no details what is the use case of this token probably utility token.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 06:47:36 PM
I am neutral about this, bounty hunters have a point and also the manager or the team. Some bounty hunters do not want KYC because they are afraid their data will be stolen and being used for illegal purposes. As an individual, I am not comfortable with KYC too. For bounty managers, they implement KYC to eliminate cheaters and bot accounts. If the project is legit and GPDR compliance I guess both sides benefit in doing KYC.
508  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to Know on: April 14, 2020, 05:54:01 PM
If you have extra money that is ready to lose it is always good to buy Bitcoin either in bear or bull I think in the long run bitcoin price will be more higher. But if you are planning to invest the only money you have got, I don't recommend either long or short term, anything can happen in crypto in just a day so it is better not to enter crypto if you are not capable and be responsible in any decision you make be wise.
509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List of Trading Platforms. on: April 14, 2020, 03:50:52 PM
A good initiative for compiling this list, Anyways, If you want to get some technical information about these trading platforms or exchanges just simply go and check on coinmarketcap, you will see the Volume in hours, liquidity, when they have launched, etc. When you click each exchange there are links on the official website and most importantly you can avoid phishing.

510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BOUNTY STILL PAYS. on: April 14, 2020, 03:17:34 PM
Of course, The majority of the bounties always pay, but only few of them reach exchanges and have a decent value. Some are just worthless tokens and left to dust. Anyways, I want to share this thread by our fellow bitcointalk member his gathering a list of decent projects with bounties here on bitcointalk, Just take a look but also make your own research. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228629.msg53916917#msg53916917

512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between Online and Physical casinos? on: April 13, 2020, 07:09:22 PM
^ Thank you for bringing this topic here but it is already discussed so many times. Look at this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231955.0. The comparison of crypto online gambling and the physical gambling casino. The most reason is all about the current disaster happened, the pandemic COVID-19 that we must stay at home and avoid crowded places like the physical casinos.
Nevertheless, here are more related discussions.

Thanks for pointing this threads, I will check and read comments that satisfy my question. If I am satisfied and got the point maybe I will lock this thread. Yeah, We should avoid playing on physical casinos in this time of crisis, and I guess casinos are also close now. We can shift to online casinos and explore.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: April 13, 2020, 05:31:35 PM
Yes, those are signs of scam projects. This year only good projects shines, those projects that are only base on bullrun are gone, Pump and dump coins they still exist but they are dump 99 % like trash. I hate to admit it I almost believe some of these influencers, they even active and attended on blockchain conferences but the lesson is to always check the project not who is promoting it. I consider those sh*tcoins projects as fraudulent looks like the CEO himself is dumping the coin.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / What is the difference between Online and Physical casinos? on: April 13, 2020, 04:38:04 PM
This question pop out on my mind after I watch a video of Poker tournament on a physical casino, I guess playing physically really have some difference, we can consider the pressure from the crowd and of course, your opponent himself. There are so many factors to consider while playing online you can relax and think carefully. That Video I watch, the opponent is being bluffed by going all-in with 0 to 100 odds in favor of his opponent but his opponent fold because of the pressure. I am not playing on physical casinos, I want to know what is your experiences about this guys, not only poker but including other games?
515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 13, 2020, 04:08:24 PM
My advice is not to jump on these new projects without further verification Unless it is going to have an IEO on Binance, Maybe I will try my luck to get a ticket on their lottery-style IEO. Yeah, I have encountered so many well-crafted scam projects before it was in year 2017 but now I guess ICO does not work anymore. The majority is aware of these scam activities so we are very careful now.
516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we need Bitcoin if we have Litecoin? on: April 13, 2020, 11:51:23 AM
What is the difference between one and the other? After all, litecoinis a fork of bitcoin, which means it is an improved version of it.
Let me ask you this, why do we need this fork litecoin if we already have bitcoin? 21M bitcoin supply VS 84M Supply of litecoin. A times 4 of the total supply of bitcoin. I prefer bitcoin.
I have found an image on google comparing Litecoin to bitcoin I know it is not updated but there is only small difference. I don't know what is litecoin doing on their blockchain now.

517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Trust Wallet! on: April 13, 2020, 09:55:53 AM
Yes, TrustWallet is perfect for storing tokens, But don't use the ethereum wallet which is on the Multicoin Wallet. You have no control over the private keys there. You have to create a single wallet, of course, choose ethereum and you are good to go. TrustWallet has Dapps browser it functions like metamask on mobile, easy to use for mobile users, I highly recommend this wallet.
518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Is Bitcoin Blockchain Different From Altcoin Blockchains? on: April 12, 2020, 04:03:50 PM
From what I have understood, Bitcoin Blockchain and altcoin blockchain are just the same concepts but on Altcoins there are some added features, like scalability, smart contracts and so much other stuff that is being added just to improve its performance. Some coins undergo some forks to fix their issues. Now, What do you think is much better? Bitcoin is really good and it is the best, but technically some altcoins might be better than bitcoin.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 12, 2020, 03:04:25 PM
This is a bad news, Huobi  is a decent exchange but the good news is there are still a lot of exchanges that are keeping Monero in their site, especially Binance. Per record in https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/, this coin has over $100 million trading volume, I think that is good enough.

one exchange delisted monero but I do believe it will surive and maybe more exchange will operate and add monero in the future.

For me, this is still a great coin.
As far as I know Huobi Global still list Monero, Only Huobi Korea delist monero so far. Huobi has four branches if I am not mistaken its, Huobi Korea, Russia, Indonesia and Global. I guess Houbi Korea are being forced to comply with their government every country has their own regulation I hope it will not be worldwide.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 12, 2020, 02:24:31 PM
Monero get delisted once again because of low trading volume and anonymity functions on Houbi Korea exchange, why is this happening? Are people getting tired of privacy coin? Xmr is one of the top coins, what's your take about this?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/huobi-korea-delists-xmr-amid-nth-room-sexual-exploitation-case-rumors/amp

It's because government are putting pressures on exchanges to de-list privacy coins such as Monero.

This has been on-going at the start of 2018, if I'm not mistaken. As we all know, South Korea has a very strict implementation with regards to their exchanges. So it's just a matter of time before we can see Monero being de-listed by a lot of top tier exchanges in the future.
If the government is the reason for delisting a privacy coin it is not really good for privacy coin holders and traders but I guess it is delisted on few exchanges only. I have checked on Huobi Global it is still listed. ZEC or ZCASH is privacy coin too and it is not delisted on Houbi Korea. I'm confused about what is the basis of the Korean government.
