They replied to my message yesterday and solved the issue, thanks!

I have my coins on Hitbtc because I trade daily. Is that a problem for profit sharing?

I guess it is, you have them bound to your eth address.

Well at least they're doing their best. The problem here relies in the rusty bitcoin network.

- to admins/PRs of this faucet -

I have a proposal that would definitely benefit users of this websiteand maybe, the website's owner too.

It consists in the fact to accept deposits on other coins other than BTC, and then freebit.co.in internally converts into BTC somehow at a variable conversion rate.

I'm asking this because me, but I suppose there could be others, would be willing to deposit more as we love the services offered by the faucet (multiply, support for forks, interests) but we are restrained from the huge withdrawal fees applied by exchanges. For example I do small tradings from time to time, maybe I manage to get ~100'000 sats BTC from a sell, but while this amount would be acceptable to deposit to freebitcoin, I can't withdraw to transfer because it barely covers the withdrawal fees.

So the optimal course of action in this case would be for me to exchange in DOGE or LTC or BCH or any other less network problematic coin, and then withdraw DOGE to my freebitcoin account and freebitcoin convert them internally into BTC.

I understand that there are lots of risks involved in this because of current market prices that may cause freebitcoin to loose (or gain) depending on the period trend, besides the technical difficulties.

I think that is a good solution, but exchange rate you think will come from?

A median extrapolated between rates from big exchanges like bittrex, poloniex, binance... it depends on which exchange they would like to trade with in order to buy btc from or convert our alt coins in btc.

FYI, I used the flyp.me exchange yesterday for the first time and it went through pretty smooth.

But I had to leave the "refund address field" blank because when I filled it the form didn't submit, it kept saying me it was invalid. I was buying FYP tokens with DOGE. And I did put a DOGE address in the refund address field. I wrote to hello@ to inform about the issue and I haven't get a greeting back yet though Smiley

Are there some problems with the pools? It doesn't show any information about hashrates, blocks and payouts.

Maybe is dued to the increase in network hash rate of ~300-500%  Tongue
509  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: December 24, 2017, 09:58:07 AM
good to see they're back.

the point of an official announcement is to...erm...officially announce something! which is what that thread does Wink
support IS available via email, ive had prompt and helpful replies on a couple of occasions - i think they just dont get involved in email arguments with people that they consider to be scammers or trolls (im not saying i think you are a scammer or troll - just that coinpot has maybe decided that you are)

A couple of days ago I think it would have been the perfect time for an announcemnt to add there Cheesy

Coinpot is still unstable but good news ; unofficial Facebook said this maintenance was for adding bitcoin cash and I see bitcoin cash!
Ouf

?

bch has been there for weeks. there isn't a faucet still though.

hi guys, a question.

If i buy the fyp tokens on hitbtc, how can I claim the shared profits on my ethereum address?

I suppose you have to withdraw them to your eth address? Not sure though.
511  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: December 23, 2017, 08:47:49 PM
They have few messages on twitter and instagram saying they are adding new faucet for BCH?

As some other guy said, are fake profiles used to spread referrals.

And, if this takes so long the admin could simply explain the reasons and give updates in the manteinance message, unless he enjoys spreading FUD to his users.

It looks like they canceled all pending BTC transactions and moved their coins to a segwit wallet. https://blockchain.info/address/1CPg9Sc4AgABkz94AukSf9o8EeNruEZYp7

Hopefully they will still send my 50,475 satoshis that I withdrew 6 days ago. The pending tx appears to no longer be valid due to a doubke spend to their new wallet.

Unable to decrypt the output address
-17 BTC

any idea if this means something bad?

I never experienced any problems with them, but at the moment the site is down.

"CoinPot is currently offline for maintenance - apologies for the inconvenience, we will be back ASAP!"

What's your problem? The site is clearly offline for manteinance as the message clearly states.

I'm just a "bit" worried of the loyalty daily bonus of the moon* faucets, let's hope the admin will take into consideration the fact one couldn't claim during manteinance and he will prolong the timout accordingly to not reset the bonus.

Yeah, well maybe he's fixing the expired transactions or upgrading server. Let's just hope it wont last more than 24h or the daily loyalty bonus would reset to 0% on the moon faucets, that would be devastating Sad

Their customer support used to be great and fast.  Now I don't know what's going on.  They haven't responded to my support ticket for days.  I withdrew .28 bitcoins and it's unconfirmed.

Now it's a stuck payment.  I don't know if I will ever get my btc.

This is going on, and all it takes is to read stuff that is written in their website. This is written at the top of their "open ticket" page:

Quote
Due to continued unprecedented growth we are receiving support tickets faster than we can train new staff to deal with them.

In order for us to deal with your request as soon as possible:
DO NOT - Open multiple tickets for the same problem. This will not result in faster turnaround times.
DO NOT - Open a ticket about a particular coin deposit/withdrawal without first checking to see if the coin is in maintenance, or the coin network is currently experiencing heavy load. If so then do not submit a ticket until this is clear (your coins will likely arrive then).
DO NOT - Open a ticket for help with basic trading. If you require assistance relating to trading, please check the forums instead of raising a ticket, particularly this Getting Started guide.
DO NOT - Ask about Level 2 Verifications, we also have a backlog which we are working hard to clear. Please be patient and expect a delay of up to a week.
If none of this applies and you MUST open a ticket, then:
DO - Include all relevant details in your ticket: transaction ID, coin type, amount and date/time of transaction
DO - Be polite to staff, we will not put up with abuse towards staff, they are working extremely hard to clear the backlog of requests and we are training more as fast as we can find them.
DO - Expect a delay in us replying to your ticket, at the moment the wait time is around 5 days.

Can I used the Iframe link that coinpot included on their mining? I am creating a website and I want to include it. Meaning many if many users access the hashrate will increate is this correct? or for 1 user only? thanks

It will increase accordingly for each user visiting and enabling the miner, it's correct

I really was thinking till the very end that this is a scam coin, but it goes up xD

It's a transfer-coin, because of its low tx fees.

I've been trying to search about removed/expired transaction without much success. I'm OK if a transaction will be confirmed later no matter how long it takes, even a month. But an expired transaction seems that it will never be confirmed ever. Unless, if I read this correctly, CoinPot rebroadcasts or resends after the network has forgotten the transaction. Either case it seems there's nothing we as the receiver can do. And it's even more frustrating that CoinPot is not responding.

I don't have a pending transaction but I'm hoping to make a withdrawal soon. But as things are right now, I'm too afraid to make one.

I think it depends on the implementation of coinpot's backend here if it's able to refund and recognize an expired transaction, perhaps it's a first timer and it's not able (yet) or perhaps it has already dealt with it in the past. I guess we'll never know for sure since the admin is a ghost, we can only trust and hope.  Undecided
