the virtualvm link gets flagged by firefox as untrusted, just letting ya know
you have to manually add exception to ff to continue

I've designed some Klondike 16 computer case/motherboard adapters.  The designs are open source.  Use these adapters to mount Klondike 16's into any of: 3.5" Drive Bay, 5.25" Drive Bay, PCI Express slot, or PCI slot.

Thread here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246638

For sale here:
https://cp.virtualvm.com/cart.php

I would not cross post, except that the designs are free and I'm doing this as a service to the community -- not for profit. Smiley

Personally, I'm using these adapters to install a dozen K16's into a $90 4U case from newegg.  Details and pics in the Adapters thread linked above.

That's just brilliant man! I was thinking we might need board revisions for the K16 for the purpose of mounting them in various form factors, but you just made that a non-issue. Excellent!

thx for updates, and of course to everyone doing the design and testing

FINAL BETA K16 v0.3.0 Board Design Released.

I've pushed my latest design files up to GitHub and updated the parts list.

Have Fun. New 3D render and gerber outputs also there. Use gerbv and open the kicad/ka6/ka6.gvp file.

Tomorrow I hope to have a web store open. Still a bunch of work to do there, setup Paypal and Bitcoin Pmts, and I need to take a few photos. Initially I expect to have pre-order K16 and K1 Board Only sales. Pre-order as in I'll order the boards and when they come in I'll ship them out - not months of angst waiting.

I'll also have Solder Paste Stencils for K16 and K1, and a small plain Heat Sink for the K1 as well. The boards include a license fee component, and pricing for QTY 1-9, 10-25, 26-50, 51-99, 100+. I plan to add some pre-programmed PIC parts later but that also depends on supply, and there's not much point in that until I have a boot loader written.

Note - my firmware files now default for use with inverters on result data and clk. If you still use non-inverted you will need to edit two lines before building in addition to setting chip count and bank values. I'll get some of this cleaned up with proper defines before long.

Next up: QFN variant and then K1 revision.

With this news, are you guys going to be reordering PCBs and what kind of timeframe does that put Terrahash at in terms of readiness for assembly?

As per his recommendation, we will wait for a day, in case there is a critical error in the design. We will be ordering them tomorrow, and they will be here within a week. We will also be ordering all the components soon. We will be fully geared to assembly upto 80,000 chips a week. However by promising a two week deliver we are giving ourself some extra room in case of any unexpected delays.

I guess everyone is happy to wait on your report and trust you will cover most of our concerns  Wink

Seriously?

This IS the Custom Hardware board, right?  The only question posted was about paypal?

I'm off to see the wizard(s), and will report back in a couple of hours with answers to my own questions...

And to all other folks. We are very very busy and have very limited resources. Everybody is out today making arrangements, getting new boards printed, visiting the enclosure manufacturer to see which other material we can use instead of aluminum for the brackets (as the ones we received two days ago are very weak), setting up the assembly line for the new circuit board etc. etc. Please be patient, all your queries will be replied to.

Thanks,  all we needed to hear.  Smiley

520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Feathercoin to partner with other leading alt currencies on: June 26, 2013, 06:29:32 PM
Heeeey, great news everyone !

I am pleased to announce MarketingCoin (MC) , the only coin you will ever need. It is a successful combination of three TOP TIER ALTCOINS :

- FEATHERCOIN
- SECRETCOIN A
- SECRETCOIN B

Well , now here is the biggest CHANGE to a Coin ever : To find out which are the secret coins , you have to buy some MC for BTC/LTC (because nobody wants Feathercoins at the moment).

Sounds FUCKING PHANTASTI(S)C(H).

Buy 100 MC for 10 LTC and our brilliant marketing Team will send you a flyer containing instructions on how to buy the information for SECRETCOIN A.

OFFER LIMITED.

Fineprint : MC is premined and the blockchain is a piece of paper on my desk. And sending me any Coins will get you nothing but the feeling of wasting your money, full Feathercoin-experience.

I got a good laugh out of the response, kudos to you.  If I had a gold star, it would be yours in a heartbeat!

There will be natural-lite, beer bong, sup bro, college freshman, smart #ss  segments of the community we'll never reach, that's fine. Feathercoin is probably not the right fit, I'll have to live with that. Smiley For those who are interested in a different type of discussion, we welcome you to learn about our community.

We are a participation grassroots style community, feel free to stop on by and see if anything grabs your attention. While hostility is fairly common among crypto related boards, we take a different approach.
