I am trying to learn about Salus Coin to decide whether to invest or not. I know this is a POS only coin. That is about all I know as it seems there are a lot of ways to earn Salus but it is somewhat confusing. Can someone briefly summarize how the POS works for the wallet and how some of the other revenue streams can be established by using Salus. How can I earn some Salus. I looked into the mining website and it appears to be down.
Thanks.

The plan of action is simple and straightforward. The success of the plan depends upon its full and proper execution. A team needs to be put together composed of developers and administrators of Tek coin. This team will have to make an appointment with gaming company execs and make a pitch on the idea. The presentation needs to demonstrate the advantages and possibilities of how to make a profit using tek coin within the game. The presentation people can give a high level description of how the coin technology can be interfaced to the game technology. The key component to be stressed is that players can mine for or farm for tekcoin which can be transferred out of the game via the game wallet. Being able to mine for actual currency of value within a game is the dream of every kid and tekky person that has ever lived. Making money playing a game. Imagine millions of people mining for coin within a massive multiplayer online game. This is just one example, games can award points for skillful game play and those points could also be converted to tekcoin. There are many ways to use and generate coin within the game. All it takes at this point is someone with the vision and the balls to go out and make it happen.

To continue the idea of Tek into gaming. I see a crypto currency in gaming as a win win situation for both the currency and the game that uses it. By using a real currency like tek for purchasing in game items and resources will result in an increase in demand for tek. People will buy tek so that they can use it for a gaming advantage within the game. Using Tek in addictive games like World of Warcraft or strategy games like Age of Empires for the use of buying weapons, technology and resources will create a micro economy in which the game can charge small fees to make money and collect tek coin for payments of purchased merchandise. Through the game people could also mine for resources and create items for exchange for tek. In this way people could actually mine for Tek in game. This would be an extremely fun way to mine Tek coin. All of these activities are fun and the micro economy can generate millions of dollars of real value with a game that adopts this as a strategy. The key is to create a micro economy within a game that use a real crypto currency. The first crypto currency to do this will have the chance to become the standard currency for game play. That currency will become the Microsoft of the crypto currency world. Everybody wins!

If you would really like to see Tek Coin value grow. Get the currency to be used in a game like World of War Craft. The first digital coin to get that deal will see its value grow exponentially.

Hey ReydeApio How can you tell how many wallets are online?

Make a good quality working wallet that connects to the network easily and I will give it a try. Hopefully there is still a place to mine the coin.

I am trying to mine solo and can not get my miner to send proper command. It connects to the litecoin wallet server. I am using cgminer and minerd. Minerd says http request failed. The requested url returned error: 403 forbidden. json_rpc_call failed. cgminer says: Pool 0 slow/down or URL invalid.
What is the exact command that I should give to connect to litecoin wallet stratum+tcp:// and http:// for URL do not seem to work.
thanks for the help

I have been doing some thinking about tek and realized that like all other alt coins tek has real value because you can trade tek for btc. altcoins really should be thought of as alternate or parallel block chains. Since this is true as bitcoin value increases this will increase the value of all altcoins especially high pos coins such as tek. This coin has real value especially in the long term. I see this coin settling into 1000 to 2000 Satoris range. This is a coin everyone can participate in owning as you can invest in it and have generate revenue without the need of expensive miner equipment. This is a big advantage.

Man the price of tekcoin is depressing. I guess at this point it can only go up. If tekcoin people could just put together some sites or markets that can allow tekcoin to be used to trade for goods and services it would help build the value back into the coin. Certainly right now tekcoin is a good buy and when it goes up it will be spectacular.

I just wanted to report on a problem that I was having with a titan cube. It was purchased in new condition as the person/company that bought it never used the Titans. Unfortunately when I received the single cube two of the dies, the top two dies did not work properly. I opened the cube and found that the heat sync popped loose because KNC must have over tightened the screw on the end and the base popped loose that holds the screw to the circuit board. I bolted the end back down by getting parts at the hardware store.
Before I had fixed it the symptoms were the top die would hash for about 10 seconds and overheat and shutdown. The second die would immediately shutdown. I could run the top die at a 100mhz and it would run steady but still running a little hot. After properly clamping down the single screw end of the heat synce the top die would run at 300 mhz no heating problem. The second die runs at 175 mhz setting but is using more current than it should be using. The cube amazingly still runs at over 70 MHZ hashing rate even though second die is under clocked. I opened the cube and found that the heat sync popped loose because they over tightened the screw on the end and the base popped loose that holds the screw. I bolted the end back down by getting parts at the hardware store. I got the cube hashing at full power. Thanks Chris for the help.
I have another cube with the same problem that I never could get fully hashing as the two top dies are shut off because the heat sync is not bolted down properly. I will work on that one today and see if I can get that one fully operational. I figured out away to bolt the heat sync down by buying slightly longer screws and using a washer and lock washer and nut to bolt down the front end of the heat sync properly. That is my mechanical solution.

The coin is not listed because Bottlecaps pool is down for maintenance. It should be back up in a day or so.

the problem has been fixed. The pool had a glitch and switch my workers and pointed them to another coin. Bottlecaps network is golden

Yeah its definitely the pool. I wrote the admin for the pool. Hopefully they will fix the problem.

Thanks for the info but I noticed that when I try to mine bottlecaps it still seems much more difficult to find blocks. I have tried several times even throwing over 1 ghz at the pool and still not able to find a block and I notice that pool reporting large sudden shifts in difficulty. I did notice that that presstab explorer not showing found blocks. I watch my miners in putty using screen -r. and notice they are not finding blocks as if the difficulty was real high. Usually I can find several blocks every minute when difficulty is low. I will keep trying and see what happens.

|
|
whats up with the network difficulty for proof of work? I go to presstabs dashboard and it says no one is hashing but the difficulty is way high like in the 30 to 40 range. I am wondering how this could be?
