122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Political Orientation on: February 20, 2018, 04:17:19 PM
Ain't we all crypto anarchist here ?  Cool  Cool

More seriously, I've had a hard time trying to relate to current politcal movements ... In my yought I was very interested in anarcho-syndicalism (ref. Noam Chomsky if you want to read a bit on the subject).

Now i truely don't know...
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To travel is to live on: February 20, 2018, 04:06:24 PM
I've always been told that different language = totally different way of forming thought = different way of thinking totally.

In that way, meeting foreigner peoples can only be enligthing.

The world is beautiful and you live only once, if you have the means to do it. Just go.
124  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: February 20, 2018, 03:58:30 PM
I'd say pizzas & weather.

It's always raining, and the pizzas are not good at all Roll Eyes

Seriously, I'm currently in Belgium, and the politics here are so confusing, even more than EU ones...
125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: February 20, 2018, 03:56:05 PM

126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why suicide cases are increasing on: February 19, 2018, 07:59:20 PM
I would disagree with this statement too, or what it implies at least.

To be honest : "suicide cases" are probably increasing all over the world due to the global population number who's growing.

Suicide proportionnally to the population ... in % i mean. Not sure at all.

Altho, you have to look at the part of the population : suicides for youngsters doesnt have the same causes/meaning thn for old ppl (just a thought).
127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the reasons to support war? on: February 19, 2018, 07:55:45 PM
There is no reason to support any war.

Altho we're still investing more and more into armies saying it's for dissuasive or defensives purpouses. But hey eventually run at a cost and war makes money ...

We should support disarmement too...
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: February 13, 2018, 03:51:51 PM
Airdrops ARE profitable since they cost nothing but time.

How profitable are they ? Well it all depends on the success of the project.

You won't make a livin out of it but its always good to do them extra Smiley .
129  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 12, 2018, 10:09:47 PM
Gold is and most likely will stay a long term profitable and safe investment. No legal grey area that could come and bite you someday, not likely to loose value anytime soon (on the long run ofc).

Bitcoin might be the biggest thing of the century, i'm still not sure your banker will trust you with thoses anytime soon.

As always, if you guys can do both ...
130  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 10:04:12 PM
Yup everyone missed trains, i bet none of you did bet on facebook or apple at the time.

Is it affecting the way you're making decision ? Let's hope not.

If you're always looking back on what you could have had, you're never paying as much attention to potential opportunity, or worst you can make bad decision on psychological anchoring.

That said, it's still sad to see how it would have been such a low risk bet at the time  Grin
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: February 12, 2018, 09:34:21 PM
It is, more than ever the time to invest in BTC/Altcoins since we're in the lows (if you believe that cryptos have a future, can't make that decision for you).

And as said previously it's always wise to deversify, 50% Btc / 50% Alt might be quiet safe a bet.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What phone apps do you use? on: February 12, 2018, 09:19:21 PM
I only use Telegram on my phone.

I might be paranoïd, but i don't trust the security of my phone  Wink.
133  Other / Politics & Society / Re: impact of internet and technology on: February 12, 2018, 09:16:24 PM
I see the Internet as one of the biggest turn of human society, each have changed everything from church to state:
- Writing : allowed us to write laws and act as a society, allowed books and bible.
- Printing : allowed everyone to be able to read thoses above (note that it took centuries)
- And now internet : We're now as much emmitors as recievers of this message/knowledge, and it's easier than ever to access.

Note that it always took centuries to really sink in. Now everything is faster but still.

Crypto currency is only rising  Roll Eyes

134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is every country really corrupt? on: February 12, 2018, 05:13:25 PM
Denmark, along with New Zealand and Finland, is the world's most corruption-free country based on Corruption Perceptions Index made by Transparency International. Meanwhile, Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia became the most corrupt countries due to the history of the long-running conflict. When Denmark reaches a value of 90 out of 100, two-thirds of the world's 176 countries are below the 50 mark. Transparency International also places Denmark as the most transparently governed country. Of course, transparency contributes greatly to the administration of a clean government. Law enforcement is ensured by a government transparency system that makes it easy for Danish citizens to oversee. And, as an implication, legal certainty makes the business climate conducive and ultimately drives the quality of life of the Danish economy.

Agreed, those are exeples are what most countries should aspire to.

I believe that in MOST countries, corruption is real and in effect. It's not because you can't see it, that it doesnt exist. I wouldn't call that straight corruption, but collusion or conflict of interest...
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: February 12, 2018, 03:38:34 PM
If we want cryptos to keep being "tolerated" by the states we might need one.

Regulation is neither bad or good, its a tool.

It depends on who is writing them... that's where I say NO we dont need regulations Wink.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto exchange do you find the most trustworthy and why? on: February 12, 2018, 02:52:31 PM
Might sound redundant but for me Bittrex is definetly the way to go.

It's convenient, secured and efficient.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BitConnect recover? on: February 12, 2018, 12:00:49 AM
Farewell Bitconnect, we always knew it was a scam all along  Roll Eyes.

Happy you didn't hurt the cryptoworld as much as some people predicted it.
138  Other / Politics & Society / Re: who is the best president and leader this generation? on: February 11, 2018, 04:26:14 PM
This guy, is who all politicians should strive to be like. A true man of the people! This is the best description of this man, 90% of his salary is going to charity, he lived in his house on village where he lived before he become a president, his presidential residence he used just like his office. My favorite is his legalization of marijuana, not only he legalized this plant he said it that marijuana is like any other herb, people there can use it as they like.
And when this guy go to hospital or on some other place he waits in line like every other normal person, Jose Mujica!
http://rebrn.com/re/uruguays-president-jose-mujica-waiting-his-turn-in-a-public-hosp-516872/

Totally agree Jose "Pepe" Mujica was hands down the greatest president of our time.

Such an honest and humble man.

Just check his biography its incredible.

The guy was detained and tortured for 2 whole years in isolation in ... a well Shocked .
139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: February 11, 2018, 03:33:49 PM
It's clearly not a debate Global warming is already occuring.

And sadly it's not only about temperature here .

We are also in a the 6th planet earth's gobal extiction phase.

It's called Anthropocene : we're 100 time above the normal rate of extiction of species, 50% of today's existing species simply wont exist in 2050.

Better make good money with crypto and be ready for what's ahead  Cheesy.
