501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 09, 2023, 07:25:35 AM
Trading is a good way to make money but for beginners, it is advisable to invest on your knowledge first before anything else.
Copy trading should not be your long term strategy, this is ok for short term but still you have to lower your expectation because there is no easy money in trading.
TA is the key and learning how the indicators works can make you more profitable in trading, try to focus on this first.
502  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet verification stuck for more than 1 week on: August 09, 2023, 03:30:53 AM
I know someone who has a problem also in cloudbet which he's trying to withdraw money but they froze it. he submitted all his documents for KYC verification but after a month of waiting for update the account has been blocked without being able to access it.
I think they're taking the security of users account seriously as a precautionary measure against fraud. But don't worry once they verified it they will expedite your withdrawal process.

They should at least inform the reason for blocking the players so they can defend it and provide necessary documents to prove it.
Still the best solution here is to communicate with Cloudbet, if they still have no update then try to escalate this on their social media platform.
Too sad to experience this where you gamble on a KYC free site and yet, they will still ask you with this one if you are already winning and wants to get your money.
503  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ang gagawin mo? on: August 08, 2023, 06:58:15 AM

504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Adam Back's Bullish Bet on: August 07, 2023, 09:00:45 AM
This is possible, it's just a matter of time though its better not to expect that much because Halving right now might bring a different scenario in the market. I just don't see that price to happen before the halving period, usually the price pump after the halving and it will still need more time before we reached the pump. I'm bullish but being careful with the hype, look at the price trend and have a good timing to enter.
505  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ingat sa pagbibigay ng second hand na drives mo sa iba on: August 05, 2023, 09:53:13 PM
Better to dispose it, sa mura nalang ng mga flash drive ngayon I’m sure lahat ay meron na nito and there’s no need to recycle. Never ako namigay ng mga USB kase alam ko nagsasave ako ng mga important details ko duon and hinde ren ako sure na safe naba talaga yung data ko kahit na binura ko na ito. Kung gusto mo ng peace of mind, be private as much as possible and prioritize your safety.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 05, 2023, 09:44:59 PM
As long as you trust the collector about your bet then why not? Just make sure he’s honest enough to give the reward to the participants but if you want a stress free betting, then bet on your own. Though the more you bet the higher chance of winning, this is still lottery and its hard to predict its perfect combination for you to win on that day. Just be careful since there is collections, this might turn into a scam activity.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 05, 2023, 09:31:27 PM
While breaks might introduce a sense of randomness, it's important to remember that gambling outcomes are inherently probabilistic and not influenced by previous results. The perception of improved results after breaks could be due to various factors, including luck or variance. It's crucial to approach gambling with an understanding of the odds and probabilities, rather than relying solely on breaks to influence outcomes.
That’s true and also, since you are playing more you are just increasing your chance of winning and that’s why you think the system works better if you gamble longer which I think is still depend how lucky you are. Remember those machines are programmed for the benefits of the house, so don’t expect to win always and just enjoy playing, the more you wager the more your chance of winning, just be mindful with your budget.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 05, 2023, 09:11:25 PM
Dear all,
Here to discuss wagering.
Wagering is an activity to redeem gambling bonuses, increase the rank of your account in a casino and a whole series of other advantages ...
Share your opinion and what are your tips or tricks on this topic
Wagering are not just about the bonuses but its also tells your activities in a gambling site. Some are doing this to reach the top list and some are just playing their game and have no care about their total wage. Though if you are into gambling you are already expected to wager since its part of gambling transactions. Though if you’re into bonuses, the site will always encourage you to spend more before you finally get the reward.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 05, 2023, 08:58:17 PM
This is the prod and cons of gambling, yes the government received a lot of taxed from them but if you will look down to the casinos, those taxes are came from the addicted gambler who are not suffering from a lot of stress and might become one of the beneficiary of those government free hospitals.

Well, business is business and we cannot fully blame casinos for every addicted gambler since its our choice in the first place. In my country, business tycoons are fighting for the ownership of their casinos, it looks like they are more greedy compare to the gamblers.
510  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 05, 2023, 08:45:44 PM
I think we should not focus too much on art contest rewards discussion as they have implemented it after all the analysis and still they are good and we should appreciate their decision and respect it.The next contest maybe the same so if you want to take part in it you should do it and see what you can bring to your creation.
This is a contest and losing is part of it, the good thing here is that you can always try again as Roobet continues to host another art contest and if you didn’t win last time, maybe this is your time now to double your effort. Roobet art contest seems to be the highlights of the site here in the forum and that’s why many are still talking about this especially with the rewards.
511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 04, 2023, 09:45:37 PM
Despite of the short deadline, you can still see a good number of entries who are able to meet the deadline, I think Roobet is still doing great with this one. Let’s just see and wait for their updates, we might see another contest for another two weeks with a different category.
I think we should enjoy the ongoing contest without even bothering what they will do next as those who want to participate will do in each one but in this one category are limited so you need to look if you can fit in that one to bring up your creative skills for it.Will see what team have for next contest.

I honestly admire the passion of Roobet towards the art contest and various other promo collaborations. They are the best with management strategies and I’m sure they have cool team who is always passionate about all such kinds of promotional activities.

I think Short or Long timelines doesn’t matter here. The market is full of busy corporates so I envy the way Roobet has time, reserved funds and passion towards such projects. Good luck to all participants.
Roobet is indeed love the art contest as they allocated budget for this and I think this will be a long term contest as it promotes creativity from the gamblers as well.
The timeline is a big challenge for every participant but of course, if you really want to participate you'll make time for this. Anyway, didn't see your entry mate on the recent art contest, hope to see you on the next contest, your pencil art work is amazing.  Grin
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Are short-term rentals to blame for the lack of housing? on: August 04, 2023, 09:26:45 PM
Lack of housing is not the issue, lack of funding is the issue. If you have a nation with over 200% houses of what you need, as in there is enough to go around for everyone and then some, and yet only the top buys them all, that results with some people not having a house anyway.

This is why government should always make some houses and rent them for near free levels as well, I know some will yell out socialism because of it, but if half of the world runs in a nation where hospitals, schools, firefighters, police, military and many other things are paid by the people with their taxes, why not have a single government construction company that builds cheap houses in some distant place for everyone to live if they do not have a home.

Cheap houses are good, but there are costs to maintain and improve them. These broken elevators, dirty yards, poor infrastructure - these are attributes of cheap housing.

Regarding renting - once you lose your job, you may not be able to rent a place - what should you do then?
The facilities and the amenities are very important to attract renter, and if your developer is not good enough with this for sure it will be hard for you to market your unit.
If you're renting, then having your stable income is advisable so you can still protect your dignity as a renter.

If we are talking here about the lack of housing from the government, then I think its wrong to fully depend on them, there's a lot of private developer in my country and we are already congested and the condo units are rising every year, there's a lot of supply already but the demand is declining, and the result is cheaper rental.
513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about stopping crypto trading or stock trading on Twitter? on: August 04, 2023, 09:09:30 PM
Elon is unpredictable and Twitter now are going through a lot of transitions and changes, but I still think they will still follow the trend and if crypto is the trend, we might expect them to follow it as well. I just don't understand your mean to stop trading on Twitter? Do you mean restricting people from posting anything with regards to trading? Then I think many will disappoint as Twitter becomes more centralized where they tell people what to post only. Let's see if Twitter will be more innovative in the future and wait for their stand when it comes to cryptocurrency.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 04, 2023, 08:42:16 PM
The only problem here is about financial literacy, and mostly the winners of the lottery have this kind of issue and most of them fell the same thing.

If there's a way for the lottery operator to conduct financial literacy and have a mandated % for the purpose of investing to every winners, I believe no one will come back as a poor again.

This is an instant win to many, and some are still in shock after getting their reward, and being unprepared can really cost you a lot, and you tend to spend more without thinking. I hope we can also help the winners to remain on that level, though there's still no assurance but I wish them more success as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
515  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Wag ibandera ang email address kung saan saan on: August 04, 2023, 08:29:14 PM
Tama naman talaga na hindi mo pinagkakalat yung email address mo kung saan saan at mas mabuting may 2nd email address ka for gaming, crypto or ano man yan. hindi mo need gumawa ng marami kahit isa lang okay na yun para safe yung main email address mo
For primary yes dapat may separate and advisable talaga ito para iwas scam.
Though if your account is already compromised, better to create a new one since madali lang naman gumawa ng email address.
Mas ok den if you have your monitoring of your emails and its purpose, para alam mo kung ano ang gagamitin mo like for bounty, application of work, school and etc.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 04, 2023, 08:15:44 PM

Because of KYC verification which is now done by most crypto casino to know the people who gamble on their casino, I think anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency in crypto casino.

Am i wrong to think that this information on the internet needs to be updated.
Since they want to be regulated as well and have the license, KYC is necessary for them to operate legally and you're not wrong with this.
Most of the crypto casino today are already asking for KYC though some are just a level 1 KYC only but the chance to be asked for another KYC is high especially if you won some money with them. I think the only reason for this is that, they tend to prevent laundering and in order to do that, they should know their players and that is mandated by the regulations.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation overpowers the value of money on: August 03, 2023, 09:51:55 PM
It depends the country you are living, inflation can't be overpowered money but the thing is that I understand that because of the rate of inflation now you may conclude that inflation over power money, but I don't believe such because their is multiple ways money can over escape inflation, you can escape inflation through investing to a place inflation will not affect and investing in bitcoin should be one of the roots to escape inflation as I assumed.

How investing in bitcoin helps avoid inflation. The price of bitcoin goes up and down. There is no certainty that the price will constantly recover. The price may reach its limit and bitcoin may be abandoned, pushing cheaper assets into the mainstream
There’s no way to avoid inflation but if you want to earn more over the inflation rate, then investing are one of the option that you can have and Bitcoin is also there. BTC is volatile anyway, there’s no assurance for the profit but of course if you know what you are doing I’m confident that you can beat Inflation with your Bitcoin investment, all you have to do is to be more professional and trade confidently.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTIONS FROM LITECOIN HALVING on: August 03, 2023, 09:44:35 PM
There are few days left until the next LTC halving. I understand that a new huge milestone in any of the major crypto generally causes a positive response in the entire market; an example being the recent court judgement in favor of XRP that saw market responding positively. So, do we expect some positive response from the LTC halving? If yes, to what extent can this impact on the general market condition?
The market is still on a sideways trend so we might not see any bit impact of this halving.
Though many are already holding LTC for the purpose of halving but I think just like the previous halving, there will be no significant effect during the halving but expect to see a big change after that especially if we are going to enter bull market.
This is not a Bitcoin halving anyway so expect less in the short term but if you’re a long term hodler, then this halving can be a big update for you. I also have LTC in preparation for the next bull run, actually many investors are looking forward to the bull market and not just on the halving, better to think for long term effect of this one and expect nothing for this year.
519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are crypto currency exchanges doing to foster crypto adoption? on: August 03, 2023, 09:36:20 PM
We can argue that the crypto industry is still relatively new, but what roles are exchanges playing or what are they doing to foster its adoption amidst these various challenges?
Have you seen how Binance market their platform to many countries?
I believe they are doing great when it comes to marketing crypto and their platform itself and they already played a bigger role in cryptomarket as a leading CEX. I just don’t know how DEX market their platform but I think those who are already in the cryptoworld can know the DEX.
520  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang Binance ay may kinakaharap na naman na fraud charges laban sa DoJ on: August 03, 2023, 09:19:12 PM
If there’s irregularities then dapat lang talaga na questionin not unless wala naman pala silang basis tungkol dito. Sobrang laki na kase ni Binance and yes marami ang maapektuhan nito pero syempre dapat ang gobyerno at kapakanan paren ng nakakarami ang iniisip, hinde naman porket malakin exchange ay exempted na from any questions, well let’s see kung matutuloy ba ito basta sana maging fair ang both parties.
