I should have bought more XEM during this dump. If there is another bigger dump in the future, it is definitely good opportunity to buy. Everyone says this in retrospect after the price has gone up. During the fall, everyone is just fearful. If they didn't buy during this dump, it is very likely that they won't buy during the next, and when the price recovers from that one, they'll say they'll buy the next dump. Rinse and repeat. We've seen this play out many many times in crypto so far. true thing. everybody would just be rich if he really bought every dip and the price always really rises. I always try to buy some Xem at a dip, but i really love the project and the fundamentals and not just because of a quick flip |

I downloaded the new neon wallet. can I upload my wallet file from the neo gui or do I have to make a new wallet ? I tried to upload the .json file from the gui but that didnt worked out so good so im wondering if its possible at all or that I have to create a new wallet file ?
Is there a way to send neo at the moment ? Since my gui wallet is still stuck on block 2000190
Why do you need .json file? You need to know your passpharse and encrypted key or private key. I dont know haha I when I pressed export wallet recovery file it was a .json file so i thought maybe I can use that to import also. Alright never mind that then encypted key is like a public key right? So I can open my wallet in neon using my public key+ password or my private key? Can neo already be send with neon wallet or do we still have to wait on the consensus nodes to be operational again ? If you hold your private key you should be fine to recover it i think |

I hope hope picks up some more traction this year. I think NEM has the ability to scale enough for many applications today. I still feel there is work to be done but I have visited their github and they are a active team. Hope to see more this coming year.
Catapult hopefully will get released this year, which could accelerate adoption. I have no doubt about that. Looking forward to the exchange release at first What do you mean by exchange release? I think RPX is one of the most promising and actively developed ex-ICO projects out there. Not trying to promote them, just my opinion compared to some other ICOs I invested in... Can not agree more. I can really understand felixando. The thread and BTT can sometimes be depressing go fuck yourself. This is obviously a scam and you're just using your hero member status try and legitimize this. as i said before you are either really stupid or you're one of Dave's sock puppet accounts.  no need to be rude. I said it multiple times. There are a lot of scams out there, that's a fact. But I really think everybody should be able to do some research before investing in any sort of ICO. The money did not just got transferred from their pockets to the donation address by some kind of wizard. I donīt want and will cover any sort of scam, but I really think people in here should have done some basic research and risk management before sending their funds |

Japanese and Koreans are leading the buying. Their volume has increased due to the refund of the Coincheck hack to Japanese investors next week (@ 80 cents per lost XEM). They are most likely buying in before this happens as they are anticipating that the refunded investors will buy back in

Interesting and nice to see. Hopefully the previous holders will get back into the market. After all, they can get more NEM now than they previously held for the refund amount Coincheck is giving them. That is true. They can buy almost 3x what they lost at current rates. Hopefully they all see it was the exchange's fault and not NEM's. Maybe in the long term this will be a blessing in disguise. Who knows. Hopefully something good comes of it though. The publicity is sure a good thing in the longrun |

Now the "only" problem would be how to create a "ALQO brand" which will be recognized and everybody is eager to share with his buddies. Any ideas welcome! You will need to open a support ticket providing the required information, then wait for Cryptopia to apply the fix. *Edit* I just wanted to add: I have been making deposits to Cryptopia. Some deposit extremely fast. Others do not show up at all. This seems to be an intermittent issue. All of my deposits that do confirm within Cryptopia require the Buy 50k Sats work around. well they always take their time to credit it. So i would just be patient or open a ticket |

Yes and that is why developers who are forking a coin shouldn't be satisfied with plain copy, but instead improve the existing protocol and convince people with superior technology.
I think its not necessarily superior technology - it needs to be state of the art at least. If the surroundings match like improving usability or improving accessability then the coin has definetely the right to exist. Dev who are simply forking a coin an are satisfied strongly reminds me of scammers... - only in for the fast money... you don't need to always develop something totally new. Sometimes the highlights are just some little changes that make the difference |

MVT has a lot of support, but if the devs itself is not very active in promoting and investing to gain more support with the community, it will eventually die. Just saying...

Many other coins have been through pretty rough waters yet have still managed to recover. I'm hopeful Obsidian can do the same. What makes me positive is the fact they already have a fking working product, which is not something you can say about most projects.
Hope that bright time will return to Obsidian community really soon. Developers tead do a big and great work here and we have a really nice product Obsidian messenger. Spring has come and all the best will come. I'm just worried about the fact that the obsidian has a ready-made work product, and the price of the coin lies on the bottom.
