502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: February 17, 2017, 03:14:18 PM
ESP having a good day on Nova. Touched 177 litoshi with almost 100 LTC volume in the last 24hours.
Some big announcements is incoming Huh

I think this is nothing yet, once the price is over 270 lit, BTC market (1 sat) will be possible, so THEN volume will grow. Nevertheless, nice price consolidation, floor was 50 lit a couple weeks ago, now is a strong 100 lits.

-Counterparty
-ShadowCash
-Bitcoindark
-NXT
...and more more just look at Coinmarketcap

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: February 16, 2017, 07:34:49 PM
If someone wants to sell coins OTC, message me your preferred price and how much you want to sell, and if we agree we find an escrow and make the deal.

Why don't you use the exchange?

Low liquidity. Will take a long time to buy in at the price I want.

If you can't buy the amount you want at the price you want, that mean you don't really offer it's real value.

508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.1 on: December 19, 2016, 05:56:10 PM
Question:

I just got a batch of MSI RX 470 Gaming X gpu's delivered. They have "SAMSUNG" memory instead of "Hynix" memory.  Is there any difference in the strapping for these two different memory types as there was with the Elpida?

Why you post the exact question at several thread?
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My 2017 predictions on: December 16, 2016, 04:00:47 PM
Maybe I wasn't clear enought, but when I said 20%, is 20% of investment to put, not 20% in rise.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / My 2017 predictions on: December 16, 2016, 01:57:11 PM
Here are some altcoins that I think it could be a good move to have in 2017. It would be nice to recheck in say, 3 months (march 2017) what is my success rate. I will explain how I would distribute in % of holding I would go. (So for example, I have 1000$ to invest, if I say I would go 10% on this one, then it's 100$)

1) ETH

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.01 BTC  or 7,90$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 7.13$
Yes ETH price dropped a lot, but it seems now that the drop is over. It could go back to 1 000 000 000$ marketcap but of course I'm not all in for this one. Let's say 20%

2) Bitcoin

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 783$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 967$
Not that much to say, it's the king and since the halving in july 2016 that price is still rising slowly, but I don't expect it to double, so a safe bet. Another 20%

3) Monero

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.0108 BTC  or 8,48$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 13,72$
Stay solid at over 100 000 000$ marketcap, could go easy to 150 000 000$ marketcap again. Another 20%

4) Blackcoin (BLK)

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.00003396 BTC  or 0.0266$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 0.027$
This one is a different strategy. It seems to always oscillate between 2 000 000$ and 3 000 000$ marketcap. So right now it's time to buy and watch when a pump occur and then resell for profit (just before 3 000 000$) Another 20%

5) ESPERS (ESP2)

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.00000055 LTC  or 0.000001996$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 0.00000298$
Ok this one is more for a homerun or nothing. It cost nothing, so risk is very low. If it gains attention it will enter BTC market and more exchange. So an easy X10 on this one if this occurs. so 10%

6) Litecoin LTC

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.004633 BTC  or 3.63$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 4.61$
Not that much to say, it's the alt that bring them all, seems like it ain't dead. so 10%

So in my example, with 1 000$ as of today (2016-12-16) I would get:

20% in ETH so 25.3165 ETH
20% in BTC so 0.2554 BTC
20% in XMR so 23.58 XMR
20% in BLK so 7518 BLK
10% in ESP2 so 50 100 200 ESP2
10% in LTC so 27.54 LTC

UPDATE 2016-12-28:
ETH holding is now (25.3165*7.13) 180.50$
BTC holding is now (0.2554*967)    246.97$
XMR holding is now (23.58*13.72)   323.52$
BLK holding is now (7518*0.027)      202.99$
ESP2 holding is now (50100200*0.00000298) 149.30$
LTC holdin is now (27.54*4.61$) 126.96$
Total: 1230.24$

Feel free to discuss my choice and let see the result in march 2017!
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.1 on: December 12, 2016, 04:24:58 PM
EWBF miner 300 h/s 1080 61 C.... total power 73 %

So what...? With the price a 1080 cost I could get 3-4 rx470 so 600 to 800 sols/s  Roll Eyes
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Latest amd driver 16.12.1 / (Code 43) for AMD cards under device manager on: December 10, 2016, 05:18:45 PM
I think this new driver improve power use, so are the card consumes less W in mining?
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to flawless install 3 and more AMD cards on: December 09, 2016, 11:28:09 AM
Sound like a motherboard issue because install a 4-5-6th cards isn't more difficult than 3.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.0 on: December 08, 2016, 01:55:41 PM
All my rigs are running fine since the switch to V9 (so 22 hours now) no restart. But I don't overclock and have plenty of spare power. (ex 1600w for a usage of 1200W)
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.0 on: December 07, 2016, 06:05:18 PM
Someone here checked if v9 use more W? can't check it for now

517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: December 07, 2016, 03:12:36 PM
More speed, means higher difficulty and higher electricity consumption and the same income. Because most people use claymore for zcash, so everyone will move to new miner. What is the point?

How about that he want to be competitive and beat other miner? It's fair. One other thing is for sure RX cards can surelly hash higher.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best PSU for R9 390 series on: December 07, 2016, 03:03:10 PM
Hello gus..

I have some rigs with RX 480 cards (5 or 6 cards each one) and i use 2 psu x 850W in each Rig.

Now i am making some R9 390 rigs.. But i can see that i will need at least 850W PSU for 2 cards.. I tryed to power on 3 cards on a 1000W gold plus PSU and sometimes it goes off..

Is this normal?  Huh

3 on 1000W should do the job, try undervolting maybe? (- 100mv)

I run 3X 290 on a 850W...
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 470 are even cheaper now on: December 07, 2016, 02:54:32 PM
my power color RX 480 i bought two weeks ago works great, i had to mode the bios in order for it to run cool and do the speeds i wanted it to . i did not use any one else es bios i had to play with it till i figured out what would work now it works the same as my 470 only faster and i plan to buy a few more they still sell at the price of a 470 .

The new leaked info on the new AMD DRIVERS due out soon lowers heat and power usage and probable runs better then Nvidia once they release .

https://www.techpowerup.com/228451/amd-radeon-software-crimson-relive-drivers-information-leaked

Wich version of the Rx480 Powercolor you have? With 1 or 2 fans?

Can't wait to see if it will help in mining (lower W)
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: December 07, 2016, 02:48:12 PM
