hey guys.. I had been following this thread all along about the sending the coins to BITTREX..that is up to about a day or two ago. At THAT time it was recommended to NOT do any transfers what so ever. I just got in and went to the OP and it said to transfer the coins, so I did (to bittrex), It had an address for deposit as I generated it days ago in preparation for all this.
After I sent the coins I read back a few pages and saw where Ritchie was leaving the deposit wallet open for a few more minutes. So I went back to check and now it says wallet is disabled and the coins are not there...did I fuck up??
No you are fine....they are switching over. You are only seeing the front end. Dont worry. Thanx Joel..I hope so. If they did indeed make it ok............Talk about making it just under the wire...whew  |

Dumps are normal i don't know why people are so afraid of this. If somebody is dumping someone is tanking no problem with this. Market is moving and this is healthy the fact that now the price is a bit lower doesnt changes the thing that COMM has a strong community behind it and price will rise for sure, but for those here for easy money 1-2 free bitcoin is actually almost a wealth. Being on long term is more profitable right now than dumping, but getting rid of dumpers right now is a good thing, at least it won't happen later  +1 WELL PUT/intelligent |

Dear community: we have to report an incident to you. This morning one of our team members computer had a hard-drive failure, and as a conseuquence many files were lost in which it has one of our COMM coin depot wallet, with approximately 196.8 mil COMMs in it. Despite all efforts we are not able to recover the wallet, and unfortunately no backup was made for this wallet (while we made backups for other wallets, this one was somehow missed as it was created later than others). This is the wallet:http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3HWe are sorry about this incident, and we want to sincerely appologize to the community. Since the wallet (private key) was erased, it is like this amount of coins was never mined. So total available coins will be 800 mils instead of 1000 mils for COMM. This is a good thing in a sense, that it will enhance our existing coin value. We publish the wallet so that everyone can see that this amount (196780608.602771 COMMs) will be dead in that wallet, that no one has access to them. These coins will never be circulated in the market. With the coin reserves left, we will distribute 2nd round distribution, as promised. As a community, we are going strong, and with about 800 mil coins in circulation, we will have a better value of our coin! So delivery will be done according to same route and whats left put bounty budged. That's not as bad as it could be :-) It would be good to hard-code this address in the wallet avoiding funds to be spent. They are already gone, but I'm pretty sure if we do not do it some people will start making accusations here. This action would only bring more transparency and make our coin stronger. I hope to hear what others think about it. P.S.: Just got the second share... Adriano Edit: mispelling Oh dear... but this may not be a bad thing. Less coins, more values. As dev posted the wallet address, I am sure it is not them to steal the coins, it is just an accident. If these coins are gone, not a bad thing, not distributed yet anyway. I don't doubt it was an honest accident but I fear for the reaction of others and how this reaction could affect the price and confidence in our coin... As these coins are gone for good, there is no problem in burning the address in the source code. This way if it was a scam (I'm not saying it is) not one node would relay the transaction nor accept a block where the transaction was included... Only a couple lines of code and the trust is reestablished. If at some point the wallet is recovered we will only need to decide what to do with the coins and remove the lock from the source. from the total ~470 people we paid, we removed following people from the 2nd round distribution:
1. Those who cheated with same account different wallet addresses
2. Those who cheated with different accounts but we determined that they are all the same person
3. Those we accidently paid twice (only a few - so many payments sent)
4. Those who did not access their accounts for the last week
5. Those who sold the coins and/or encourage others to sell.
6. Those who attacked the COMM coin and devs
so about 330 people in 2nd round
And for those who received 1 mil recently (after apr.10), if you never accessed the wallet, you are probably been put on our watch list
as for those who never access in about a week, we will remove them. So for those, we may pay the 2nd round later if qualified. We have 50-60 people on the watch list now

P.S. For now we are only pledging to donate. Adriano has accepted to handle the implementation of the multipool for us.
The multipool will allow people to mine the most profitable coins and automatically convert them and pay miners in communitycoins. This was one of the main reasons behind blackcoins steady price increase.

Mintpal vote update: 5710 and counting. Has anybody sent an email to the mintpal dev? Could somebody please do that? Talking to the mintpal devs may be the best option.
We are continuing to vote for mintpal not because we want to dump the coins, but to raise the value of our coins by adding a reputable and well known exchange to our services. People dumping their coins just after we get listed would make a stupid move. Just look around.
Keep up the good work dev and keep us updated on whatever happens. I have sent a pm to the dev regarding more info. Will update when I receive an answer.
Big update: Multipool might be ready on monday! So keep your coins safe and bring some ideas that could add real value to the community.
I think after the second round there will be some stakes left over. If the dev and the community agrees we should put 1 or 2 stakes in a faucet. But we should distribute them very careful not to create a price crush by distributing too may coins without any contribution made.
P.P.S. If we work hard, launch the multipool, finish the distribution, land on mintpal, finish the website and do the other stuff on the list of brightlight, we could easily surpass 1000 satoshi maybe even in the first week. We should focus on creating value and growing the community, price will follow without a problem.

7. Updated logo, if dev accepts it's change.
8. Not mandatory, but Android wallet could be a good point about coin. Also as promotional move.
Please leave your feedback for what to add or remove from list. Also the donation/bounty amounts for each position should be determined by a community.
