Most probably:
350 within 1 week.
300 within 2 weeks.
250 within 3 weeks
200 within 1 month.

You guys are delusional. Buffett won't pump an altcoin. He simply does not care about crypto-currencies in general as that is not his style of investing.

Move on.

agree.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: March 29, 2014, 02:05:19 AM

I, Ian, a day 1 Shibe, created Coin-Swap FOR Doge. Here is my story and some information about the exchange.

Why we made Coin-Swap
In early December I originally decided to create Coin-Swap so people could trade Dogecoin in a safe and secure environment without having to worry about scammers. When Dogecoin was released there wasn't a safe way to exchange coins without a great deal of risk. In fact, the only way to trade Doge at the beginning was a poor soul here on bitcointalk that was doing it via a Google drive spreadsheet! I came up with the idea to create an escrow service for coins so people can trade Dogecoin for other types of coins. Since then, Coin-Swap has expanded to a truly unique real time exchange with an intent to hold as few coins as possible for as short a period of time as possible.

What started as a small project I thought I could knock out in the first week of Dogecoin release, turned into a 6 week project before our first trade listed. Since that day in late January I picked up a couple people to help with the site and we have worked, behind the scenes, to continue develop and improve the site. I have not announced the exchange to the Doge community because I have waited (since December!) for it to be ready and good enough for DOGE. (seriously)

Important info about Coin-Swap
Coin-Swap's new market system is going live today, March 28. Like our old system, our new exchange does not follow the typical pattern of depositing to a wallet->trading from wallet balance->request a withdrawal.
Instead, you create a market order and you are given a deposit address for that order. When that order executes, you are paid out immediately.

We believe by allowing you to work out of your wallet it minimizes your risk. We don't believe you should treat an exchange like a bank!

Important Feature - AutoSell
When you create a market order, you can set your mining pool payout address to this market address. You can continue to deposit coins DIRECTLY into the market. This allows you to autosell what you are mining. If your order is depleted, it will re-open when a new deposit arrives. The price will either be set at the last price you had it, or it will automatically adjust the price to the last price if that is a better price for you. Example, if you sell at one price, but the market has gone up since then, it will automatically raise your price to the last sale price for you. It will not adjust it down, even if the market drops below where your last sale price was.

Dynamic Price Change
You do not need to cancel and recreate an order to change the price. You can change the price of your orders at any time. Once the new API is up, you can change the price via API or our Android/iPhone app (coming soon).

To get started you need to register.
Register

You then need to provide YOUR wallet addresses where you will receive coins. You will need to enter your DOGE address as well as a BTC or DOGE address, whichever market you plan on using.
Profile

Then head to the DOGE markets.

I found very interesting this new buy/selling approach!

Where to buy Doge with BTC nowadays now that Vircurex out of the question? Is cryptsy the only realistic alternative?

Poloniex, Swsscex, and pretty much EVERY exchange ever has Doge and a good amount of trading...

Yeah, but which one do you personally trust?

anxpro, kraken.

Below 500 USD 'til the end of the week?  Roll Eyes

I still believe bitcoin in the long term as well as other 2 or 3 altcoins.

We are right now in the eye of the hurricane.

That's truly amazing.
Perhaps Bitcoin's users should do something similar? The possibilities would be even grander. A giant BTC logo on time square? Cheesy

I'd love to see a bitcoin car racing at the same event.

if you add up the letters of Satoshi Nakamoto in a certain way, the result is 666.
I just do not know what way is this Grin

512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New non-"coin" coins that would be useful without being currency on: March 20, 2014, 05:49:07 AM
haha

Not at all.

"the real answer is more coins". I'm with you.

But, when you talk about the use of blockchain to solve other  problems than coins (if I understand you), it reminds me ethereum. I'm not with ethereum, I'm just waiting to see how it goes.

Ok, I like doge, and I'm with litecoin and bitcoin. I'm not a zealot coiner Smiley
It's quite alrigth to me if you don't like dogecoin. To be honest, I think a little weird to be radical about a 5 years old coin, maye because I'm an old guy.  Cheesy

(sorry my english, I'm a foreigner)
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New non-"coin" coins that would be useful without being currency on: March 20, 2014, 04:08:19 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that you're talking about something very close to the ethereum project.

Doesn't the Ethereum project plan to eliminate all other coins? I've heard that and heard it called "one blockchain to rule them all."

I don't like the idea of a central authority for blockchain-based systems. I think the distributed networks should themselves be distributed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the videos on Ethereum seem to be so far reaching it's kind of hard to understand if it can/will be done. Whereas Bitcoin and Namecoin are very easy to understand, for me, at least on a surface level. I've also met people who are absolutely evangelical about Ethereum who cannot for the life of them explain it. I'm not saying anything against it, at all, but I've yet to have someone explain it cogently. Also, where is it at in development? I know there's some code, but last I checked (about a month ago) it looked like another coin with a few lines added. I'm not saying "it's not there"....there are too many projects to vet line by line, especially working on my own full-time project (which is very easy to define, and is out now).

But I sure hear a lot about the healing magical powers of Ethereum to revolutionize the world, without a lot of people really knowing what it is or where it's at in existing as a product/project, or when it will be ready for full testing. Kind of reminds me of the "Gabo" phenomena on the Simpsons maybe.

When a friend I know calls me and said "I've installed Ethereum, it kicks ass, let me help you get it running", I'll be excited and drop whatever I'm doing. Like three years ago when someone did that for me with Bitcoin.

I'd love Ethereum to do everything everyone says it will do.

I'm not criticizing it for not being fully formed. I'm suggesting things that are far less fully formed in this thread. But people talk about Ethereum in hushed, excited tones, and talk like it's already running everywhere. Is it? And is it "one blockchain to rule them all"?

I think the real answer is more coins, not less coins. Not just for security, not just for new uses, but even just on a user level / value for marketing the idea of coins. For instance, I think Dogecoin is silly and have even turned down offers of people donating some to me because I can't be bothered to run yet another wallet. But it's important because it's "friendly" and it will be many non-technically minded peoples' first coin.

MWD

You talk a lot but... Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that you're talking about something very close to the ethereum project. Smiley

what are the predictions short and longterm?

what kind of a question is that?

The predictions are always moon  Cheesy

tbh, im really not sure if it can drop a bit lower and then a pump, or if the pump might happen at the current price level.

short term (next 10 days): I bet there will be a large drop (something about 120 satoshi) before a fair increase (about 150-160).
long term: who knows?  Grin
