A new contract was offered to Semih Kılıçsoy. Semih has been playing for several matches and he scored a goal for the first time. If every young player who scores a goal is given a new contract, the economy of this team will not improve. The player will first give something to the team, deserve a new contract, and then these improvements will be made. There was no rush for this contract renewal. We have seen examples in the past, the performance of those who receive the new contract decreases. This should absolutely not be allowed. Semih's contract is until 2025. It's absolutely right to extend this to 2028, but serious increases in the annual fee shouldn't be made. A performance-based contract should now be made, this applies to all players.

The derby in the league was a really unpleasant match because the first aim of both teams was not to lose the match. However, I think that each team has weighed each other, so they will go into the cup final knowing each other's problematic sides. By the way, Fred, who received a 4 match ban for swearing at the referee in the league match, will be able to play in the cup final. I think this is good news. He couldn't play in the league match. I think now all the calculations will be done again for both sides.

I also hope to watch a much more exciting match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce this time. Both teams will make a lot of money surely. I mean even for the losing side it is quite a good amount to play for. But there is still a big gap between the winner prize and the prize for the losing side. Both teams should be able to make an extra effort to get the biggest prize money.

It feels like we will see both teams scoring also this time. Fenerbahce can be much more effective in the attacking side thanks to Fred's return but it is still difficult to predict the winner. The odds are favouring Galatasaray a little more.

Besiktas is indeed a top club in the Turkish Super League, just like Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, but unfortunately this season Besiktas is not very consistent and even seems to be having difficulty winning, in fact other clubs such as Trabzonspor and Kayserispor can beat Besiktas in terms of points and Besiktas must improve their performance to get back in the rankings 3rd place as usual is side by side with the top clubs.

I think that this result is good for Galatasaray side anyway despite those really poor performances. At least they didn't lose this tough away match. Maybe they can turn this into their advantage if they manage to win the rematch at Rams Park but we will see. If the situation becomes like the winner of that match wins the title as well then we can at least watch a much more interesting match than this.  

When it comes to the Super Cup match hopefully it will be a better match than their last meet. By the way the total prize to be given to both teams is 108 million Turkish Liras. The winner is going to be given 65 million while the second is given 43 million. As the great prize is really good this must be the reason why this finale is being played in Saudi Arabia.

After leaving a horrible derby game behind I hope that the Super Cup game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce would be an enjoyable one to watch.   

Think about a derby game in which there was only one shot on target. It is just terrible. This must be the most mediocre game between these 2 teams. The more interesting part is that this happened while both teams had their most scorers on the pitch. Fenerbahce didn't have Fred of course which affected their performance negatively also. As far as I know they won all of the games in which Fred played until now. The referee's decisions have been criticized a lot too just as I expected.

I think that was the right call. You can't make future plans with Rıza Çalımbay. Beşiktaş need a bigger vision. We heard Conte news but he wanted a big transfer budget so right now it looks impossible. New chairman should fix financial situation first, it's not that bad already. It's not that important if Conte or Flick or somebody else come, as long as good management happens. Beşiktaş need new players both in terms of numbers and quality. The players coming from the infrastructure are good but not enough. This team needs a leader. Chamberlain and Gedson couldn't do that for some reason.
