Besiktas is one team in the Turkish League that are to an extent doing well for themselves. Even though they don't get to have a spot in the UCL, they still try their best to earn a spot in the UEL  and while at that segment of the European tournament, they do their best to gain good results. They now have a new president who's got the ability to make the team better.

There is a rebuilding phase and it's hard to do it in the middle of the league. New manager haven't come yet. New transfer strategy is unknown. All these take time and there is no time right now.
Kasımpaşa game will be in January 5th. The holiday is only limited to one week. I'm not sure what is their plan as we heard news that manager candidates reject offers. This is Hasan Arat's biggest test as a chairman.

The derby in the league was a really unpleasant match because the first aim of both teams was not to lose the match. However, I think that each team has weighed each other, so they will go into the cup final knowing each other's problematic sides. By the way, Fred, who received a 4 match ban for swearing at the referee in the league match, will be able to play in the cup final. I think this is good news. He couldn't play in the league match. Yes, Besiktas is indeed one of the best clubs in the Turkish Super League, but I am quite sure that they really want to compete in the Champions League, because the Champions League is a competition that all clubs dream of, but at least if Besiktas does not succeed in competing in the Champions League, Besiktas will still can fight to compete in the Europa League this season if they can overtake Kayserispor and Trabszonpor in the top 4 positions if not otherwise Besiktas next season will not be able compete in the European League.

Yes, in the end Besiktas was able to win this match with a narrow scored of 2:1 and currently Besiktas has moved closer to being in the top 3 and if Besiktas is able to win the next match then Besiktas can returned to being in the top 3 and continue to maintain its position so that next season it will have the opportunity to compete competition in the Europa League because Besiktas' only hope is to compete there because to place themselves in second place and compete in the Champions League will be very difficult to achieve because the points difference with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray is quite large.

The difference between "we need to not lose this game" versus "we need to win this game" is a huge difference, when you do not want to lose, you just try to pass the ball as much as possible and do not want to attack and lose the ball, but when you need to win you go on out at attacking and try to score as much as you can, this could lead either you scoring, or you losing the ball and the other team scoring. I still think that it is going to be a fun game to watch without a doubt, it should be something to see.
