501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: January 09, 2019, 07:37:26 AM
When you invest into more altcoins because you want to diversify the investment, then it is hard to control which project is active and which is not.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins/icos to buy and hold on: January 08, 2019, 06:57:47 PM
Do your own research, do not trust in coins that are recommended by some random members here. You canīt know if the guy is from the team and if he wants to scam people or what.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: January 08, 2019, 06:28:40 PM
Know Your Customer process is for customers right? And bounty hunter is a customer? We are not buying anything? We are free lancers and not customers. So why we should do that?
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: January 08, 2019, 06:21:55 PM
It will depend on many factors. If big institutional investors finally enter the market and when it should happen.
If the global crisis will happen. If crypto makes a good progress.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 Shopping List on: January 08, 2019, 06:16:22 PM
I feel the market is done dropping, for the most part. It's corrected after the amazing bull run in 2017-18. A bottomed out bearish market is the best time to buy, imo. So in 2019 we should all be shopping for long hodls! I'm curious what other alts people are buying. I will be picking up ETH, ADA, XRP, WAVES, and either NEO or OMG. What will you be shopping for this year?
I will not shop, I will invest.
That is little bit diffrent, when you shop you spend your money for things that you need for your life and this money you will never see in the future, because you spent it.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Buy back ICO tokens after ICO on: January 06, 2019, 11:53:12 AM
Hi,
just now I think about why past ICOs are not buying back their tokens for cheap price from bounty hunters and other dumpers?
Why they do not use money collected from ICO to do that?
Look at CountingHouse for example, they helping price to grow and it is really working!

507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are dead! Yeah I mean DEAD!!!! on: January 06, 2019, 11:48:28 AM
Here's what I really don't like about ICOs and why they're dead to me:

1. "After ICO, the token's rate would be $X.XX per coin/token"

Excuse me? Really? Yeah we know the hype, right? Been there already. Most ICOs don't live up to their promise that their rate in exchanges would be that high amount. For example, there's an ICO whose token is worth $0.01 and claims that when it hits exchanges, they will be worth at least $0.20. But hell no!!! The reality is that when it hits exchanges, the rates are way below the ICO price!

So ICOs, don't make promises you can't keep, especially claiming that the amount will be huge when it hits exchanges coz' it mostly likely not gonna happen. Sad reality. Nothing but hype!

2. "We're pausing the campaign until further notice"

What kind of f***ing excuse is that? I know most of their fucking delay strategies just to let their community think that they should trust them no matter what. They keep motivating them on Telegram, Facebook, Twitter or so, but in the end, they would silently abandon their project without announcing to the public. Worst of all, they're taking the investors' money away and hide in their private luxurious islands, yachts or so. Bear market? Naaahhh not a valid excuse you morons! You're just using that term to your advantage just to make the community believe in you until you silently run away with our hard-earned funds!

3. "We're focusing on the project's development before we hit exchanges."

Sorry to say that the truth is that they're doing that because of not having enough money to list in exchanges. Whaaaaaat? I can say that it's one of the worst, worst, worst, worst, worst excuses that ICOs are addressing their respective communities. F*** there are some exchanges that are free to get listed such as IDEX, MetaMorph Pro or so, and you can't even have time for the token to get listed? I don't have a f***ing problem when it comes to project development. However, just don't say that you can't get listed in an exchange which is fucking easy on the free ones.

4. "Tokens will be locked for a certain period of time to avoid mass dumping."

For me, this is not fucking true at all. Even if you do that, the market would still be dumping. I've experienced that with a couple of tokens (Seal and Gamestars). As I remembered, Seal locked our tokens for 6 months to avoid dumping. However, after 6 months, when they unlocked it, the price already dumped too hard. The same thing with Gamestars, in which they're giving tokens to bounty hunters batch by batch for like every 3-4 days. The sad reality is that this strategy is old and won't work anymore.

I don't know if you guys felt the same way like I do towards s***ty ICOs! Therefore, I can say that ICOs are a thing in the past. I would root for STOs this time, because they're regulated.

That is the reality, bubble burts. People realize that there are no free money and that not every coin could go to the moon, now they are more careful with the investment. Less money for ICOs, less progress.
Almost all the ICO of nowadays go below their ICO when launched in the exchange. There is nothing appoint other than this. Investors are alway track by this.
There is one way how to fight with it! Buy back tokens by ICO creators with money they raised. They will buy coins from those people who not believe in the project and it will cause another price growth (FOMO effect).
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: January 06, 2019, 11:43:14 AM
Again, could you someone tell me why it is better to hold your Ethereum tokens in this wallet?
What it makes better than using MyEtherWallet or MetaMask?
Because, you share with the app (Holder) your private key and this is little bit risky, or?
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time To Sell Alts For Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2019, 07:54:00 PM
It is not bad decision, I can bet that Bitcoin is the safest and most trusted cryptocurrency. So if cryptocurrencies have future, Bitcoin will also surely have. But this we canīt tell about every altcoin.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: January 05, 2019, 07:48:48 PM
Many of us prefer to hold multiple kind of coins. What do you prefer: holding it in a sigle kind of wallet or have it on a different kind of wallet?

Personally, I prefer to store in an opensource multi wallet that support all my preferred coin and even ERC20 token, its the only opensource multiwallet available called Hodler and so far I find it good. Do you think, this is really good idea?

And why it is better than MyEtherWallet and Etherscan?
On Etherscan I see my tokens, value of it.
And on MyEtherWallet I can work with these coins, send it to another place.

512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to avoid scam ICO projects on: December 30, 2018, 09:09:33 PM
The only way how to avoid scam ICO projects is not investing into this sector. Look about some big ICOs scams that raised hundreds of millions of dollars in their ICO phase (Centra, Envion) - these projects were very interesting for many investors, not only crypto investors invested into these projects, but what happened? They run with our money, even the team looks legit, even they had licenses and everything for a good start.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: December 30, 2018, 09:04:34 PM
I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion. However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

Well, my current holdings are.

1. NEO
2. LISK
3. XLM
4. MCO
5. BAT
6. POWR
7. WABI
8. START
9. WTC
10. RPX
I think that you are holding good altcoins but I would recommend you to buy some Bitcoins, I still do not understand why people are betting only on altcoins and forgot about Bitcoin.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: December 30, 2018, 08:55:47 PM
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
I think that it will be only good for bounty hunters because ICOs have to spend their raised funds to pay bounty hunters. But if the ICOs send them tokens, they do spend single dollar on it Wink.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What choices will you take now ? on: December 30, 2018, 08:52:00 PM
What do you do with your junk coins? almost all new Altcoin don't have good prices to make a profit.
Will there be a rule about a good project that doesn't produce junk coins? Disappointing. Undecided
I started selling my poor low market cappitalization coins, especially past ICO tokens and start buying cheap Ethereum and Bitcoin.
By doing this I hope that I will recover my loss.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there still future for digital currency? on: December 29, 2018, 11:13:37 AM
As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. Ive seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Its opposite as of now, almost below expected. Is this the end for the digital currency?
I do not know, but I know that there is no future for this classic old economy system. It is destroying us, okay there are good years, but good years are followed by world crisis because we canīt rise forever and we canīt rise forever due to increasing debt. In cryptocurrencies, there will not exist this problem, probably.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: December 29, 2018, 11:09:48 AM
When market is down, you have the opportunity to buy low,so this is the time when you should start investing. I do not understand why people are afraid about inveting when market is down and they do not have problem with investing when market is high, paradox?
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Cheat Against Bounty Hunters on: December 29, 2018, 11:04:06 AM
First of all why do projects ask investors to KYC before they can contribute and then some of them cheat bounty hunters by
1. Failing to tell them there'll be KYC right from the beginning of the campaign and
2. KYCing them after the bounty campaign.

Some project managers know majority of bounty hunters will fail KYC and so they'll say KYC is after the campaign. Why don't they let them KYC as the campaign is running and then when they pass, they join. I've been doing bounties for sometime and honestly speaking it's so sad that some people do work for months and then they fail mere verification process so they don't receive anything.

In my opinion, I think this is another cheat against hunters that Devs and managers should reconsider.
I am choosing only the best ICOs and bounties, so if they require KYC, I dont have problem with doing it. Because I know that the company is legit and will not abuse my IDs.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin SV on: December 28, 2018, 07:39:51 PM
I hope that this battle will end soon and noone will win - both will die and the only one that survive will be Bitcoin Core.
Please explain to newcomers that Bitcoin SV is fork of fork of Bitcoin. Smiley
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: December 28, 2018, 07:29:56 PM
More projects will be created, more projects will die. More people will join cryptocurrencies, more people will be disappointed with their inestition.
But, it will be the year, when more people come and that is very important.
