501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most important thing in a betting site on: November 26, 2023, 02:33:18 PM
Hey,

I wonder what other gamblers consider to be the most important aspect of a betting site.

In my case, it's the speed of approving and processing withdrawals. Knowing that all withdrawals go smoothly, without delays or issues, makes me trust the betting site... even if it may not have the best games, the biggest odds, or the most attractive interface. In the end, it's all about the money. Smiley

In general, if a betting site makes excuses to delay withdrawals, imposes limits on the amount you can withdraw per day/week/month, or requests an excessive number of documents for a $50 withdrawal, then these are major red flags, at least for me.

So, what's the number one thing on your list?
Quite often people feel trapped by policies such as minimum withdrawal limits within 24 hours, requiring KYC before withdrawals and so on, so before we actually make a deposit on a gambling site, we must first read the TOS and other policies stated in implemented by the online gambling site.  an online casino site has strong reasons to apply their rules to every user, those who violate will only suffer losses, they will claim users who violate the rules they made in the TOS, be careful before playing and making deposits, don't let you really suffer big losses because of your negligence.
502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: November 25, 2023, 09:00:40 PM
It can indeed be challenging, especially if approached without caution and a well-thought-out strategy. It's important to thoroughly study the material, have a plan, and invest only what you can afford to lose. Also, it's crucial not to get nervous, as it can lead to actions that may result in a loss of control over the situation.
Nervousness is a normal feeling, it's just that excessive nervousness indicates that you are still not mentally strong in trading, emotional and mental stability is needed when trading, because trading is a risky activity, so people who are too nervous will usually end up trading losses.

Trading or others crypto investment will ruin you when you didn't analyze before invest, Between spot and futures trading comparatively futures is danger for newbies, Even experience traders can liquidated, I started trade with a lot of research and firstly i tried with small amount which was affordable.
Beginners who do futures trading are also beginners who are gambling, i have never heard of beginners who were successful in doing futures when they were still fresh in trading, spot trading is the best for beginners because it is a learning medium and also builds skills, mental, emotional.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 25, 2023, 07:56:39 PM
By the look of things, Arsenal came prepared and I can see the effort they put in the first half, Brentford on the other hand are also trying their best but not enough. The problem with Arsenal in the first half is Ramsdele, wtf is Ramsdele doing and why will Artete include Ramsdele in this match, we all saw what Ramsdele did last time and Artete still decide to include Ramsdele, honestly speaking Rice did a great job in the first half.
Second half has just started and let's watch out, but Arsenal might win
The shots on goal made by both teams were almost the same, i admit that Brentford's defense was very strong, with a 5-3-2 formation, it was clear that Brentford actually wanted to hold Arsenal to a draw, they didn't want to win because they knew that Arsenal was very difficult to beat, Luckily in the 89th minute, with an assist from Saka, Havertz managed to score the winning goal for Arsenal, Arsenal were back at the top of the standings and only 1 point behind Man City, the competition at the top of the standings was very tight.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Country To Live In For Crypto Casinos?# on: November 25, 2023, 07:27:19 PM
Hi all!

Ive noticed recently that more and more crypto sites are requesting KYC, and more and more restricted jurisdictions are being added to said sites Ts and Cs. This is a problem for a lot of people on this forum who like to gamble anonymously, and, perhaps use sites that are "blocked" in their home countries.

My question then is, which are the best countries that can access these sites without issues, and pass all KYC checks? I'd love to hear your opinions!
Currently, i don't really know any gambling sites that don't require KYC, but what i have noticed is that not all gambling players actually want to play on online casino sites that require KYC, in many countries, KYC has become mandatory for people to comply with gambling business owners, if they violate this then their online casino site will be punished, usually KYC in online casinos has various levels, such as level 1 (usually only full name and date of birth), KYC 2 and so on, In countries that are famous for the legality of their gambling, KYC is still mandatory.  anyway, i'm quite curious, why would you want to play on a gambling site that doesn't require KYC?
505  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 25, 2023, 06:36:45 PM
Insurance is the most important factor of our life, Personally it was very useful for me when the pandemic started when after three months i lost my only source of income (job).
Different type of insurance in our country, life insurance, health insurance, business insurance but i have only life insurance and i got big supported from my insurance in covid-19.
insurance really makes things easier when we have difficulties, my mother has been on insurance since she was 40 years old, and she has been hospitalized several times because she is old, all hospital costs are always covered by the insurance company, and after i calculate it, if my mother doesn't enter health insurance then the costs that will be incurred are much greater than the fees that my mother pays for insurance, for older people, insurance is very important, we cannot predict whether our future life will be safe, so that's why "preparing an umbrella before it rains down" is the wisest thing that we all must do.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 25, 2023, 12:12:40 PM

Remember that this world runs on money, a lot of crimes that have existed involve money, cause no matter how much you have even just a small amount of BTC, its still yours, so it is up to you to decide which you can trust and keep it secret.

Well, maybe you're right, maybe we have different circumstances and living environments so we have different thoughts. Because in my family, for example, we live in harmony and always help each other. I am a person with a good income but no one in my family has ever asked me to give them money, each family member has their own job and income.

I also agree that there have been many cases and crimes related to money, but not everyone is bad and there are no good people in the world. Depending on the situation, I think we should also be open with each other, because suspicion will always be a barrier that drives people further and further apart.
everyone has to live independently, that's what my parents and my uncle taught me, it seems good to provide assistance to other families, but will the quality of life of these people get better if they continue to receive assistance? of course that will only make him or her continue to be spoiled and try to continue to get help, and in terms of bitcoin investment, i will not give 100% trust to other people, in fact there are many cases out there about people closest to them betraying those closest to them.  Therefore, you don't need recognition at all, flexing is not important, if you do have a large amount of bitcoin in your personal wallet account then be humble about it because people out there will target you, they want to steal something that you have.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 25, 2023, 11:10:57 AM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?
you will not be able to stop what is inherited by human DNA, well here we are talking about gambling, when there is someone who gambles in your family then he will definitely pass on this trait to his future descendants, which of course is not all of his descendants who will get the inheritance DNA (habit), if he has 3 children then 1 of them will definitely be a gambler.  Apart from that, when your surroundings discuss gambling, sports or whatever is around you, it will automatically spread to those who are listening, they have to be able to blend into the conversation so they don't look like fools.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: No Correlation Between Academic Success and Financial Success on: November 22, 2023, 07:41:53 PM
We have seen that it has been debated that there are more A students who work for C students or there are C students who earn more than A students. Personally I don't believe any of this premise. What I believe is that it doesn't matter whether you are an A student or have a high IQ. Rather it's about having the courage to venture into unchattered territories, including taking calculated risk and making the most of the opportunities that lead to high income. In our society today and in the past, the people who have demonstrated audacity and capitalized on privileged advantages to undertake risky yet lucrative business ideas are the ones who end up being of great influence and earn more. Do you agree?

fastercapital.com/startup-topic/Taking-Calculated-Risks.html
Many people say that the people who are successful today are actually people who are determined, they managed to break through the boundaries that held them back.  In fact, when you are a pioneer or trailblazer, you will definitely be the first person to succeed in that area or business. School is indeed important, but focusing on pursuing high grades at the academy will not possibly make you a great success.  Apart from that, success doesn't take 1 day, 1 month or 1 year, it could take years for you to become a successful person in the field you are in.

Whatever the government claims, CBDC is just one of the government's tricks to continue to control its citizens, they will try hard so that citizens can continue to depend on banks. CBDC is not the best solution for citizens, the best solution for citizens is a decentralized asset, whose amount cannot be manipulated like bitcoin.  Certainly in the next few years, transactions with cryptocurrencies and blockchain will become something that is adopted by the majority of people in the world, cryptocurrencies are already embedded in the lives of many people and cannot be avoided.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: November 21, 2023, 09:48:25 PM
I was guilty of this when I was a teenager not on online casinos but in a popular game on Fiesta It is a color game using dice, I was introduced here by my childhood friend and I had a lot of losses with this game, I'm using my school allowance so every time I lose money I blame my childhood for leading me to this color game I do it in a fun way as if I'm just joking but deep inside I hate it whenever I lose. I struggled to fight the temptation but the excitement led me to play again and again.
How about have you at any time blamed the one that led you to gambling in your mind, or even told him face to face?
i knew about gambling from my friend but i never blamed him for telling me about gambling, i never regretted it, in fact now i can manage my gambling well, i refuse to say he was guilty because he made me know about gambling, it's not good to blame other people, you gamble completely because of your own decision, not because other people continue to intimidate you, so make peace with the situation and improve it for the better (try not to fall into the trap of becoming a gambling addict, and gamble with full  responsibly)
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good advice? on: November 21, 2023, 09:14:29 PM
I keep seeing gamblers advising themselves that you are one step closer to winning the jackpot when you quit too early,  it's sad that they strongly believe this.

Is this true?

This advice is actually making gamblers believe that they can win when they spend a lot of more time in the casino, they strongly believe that not stopping or taking break will bring them closer to their jackpot.

One of em told me that this is why I don't win, that I only gamble when I feel like, he said constantly gambling is a must if you want to win, but I disagree, because I have seen too many people not knowing when to quit until it was too late.

To me, gambling is a theater, a form of entertainment that I pay for, not a way to get rich quick, for them it's a must to win by force, one question seem to change his mood though.

I asked him why he isn't rich yet if he is actively gambling everytime since all this while, this changed his mood and I took a turn.

believe me, if you chase wealth by gambling then you will never be able to get it, the jackpot in gambling is like "a mouse deer in the forest, a tiger must be patient to get it, if the tiger tries hard to chase the mouse deer greedily and recklessly then the tiger you'll never be able to get that deer", it's not that easy to get a big jackpot in gambling, it takes struggle and patience and quite a lot of people get big jackpots because they're just for fun, you have to try being a fad lol.
512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to start trading? on: November 20, 2023, 06:56:32 PM
Up until now I have been just buying and patiently waiting for the bull run but in the last week I have seen 2 altcoins I was interested in pump up 40% in less than 24 hours so want to try make some money and give trading a go.

What is the best site for this in the UK?

I am only going to start with $200 roughly to see what I can turn it into over the next few weeks and months as the market is starting to get very volatile so could be good opportunity to make some extra money which would then mean I can invest more into my long term plays.
just like the question another member asked, what altcoin do you want to trade? As far as i know, Binance is a very popular exchange in the UK, the choice of altcoins is quite complete and the liquidity of the altcoins listed there is also quite good, so i recommend choosing to trade on Binance, but there are other options such as Etoro or Gemini (also do your research it's up to you to find out which exchange is the most comfortable for you in terms of fee size, tools and interface).  If you want to trade on altcoins that are not yet listed on a major exchange then also avoid trading on exchange sites that are unclear and new.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When does the moment come when the gambler loses control? on: November 20, 2023, 06:27:18 PM
There is an opinion that the greatest dependence on gambling is formed at the moment of a big win. The player understands that money can be earned LIKE THIS. This is a fairly common opinion.

But I believe that the greatest dependence on gambling appears at the moment of loss, when the player admits in his head the idea that he could earn so much. He is disappointed, but wants to recoup. It is at this moment that the desire comes to play again and again in order to return to the previous state.

What do you think about it?
everything you say here is completely true, when someone loses gambling then the only thing on their mind is trying hard to recover the capital they have, accepting defeat when gambling is not easy, especially if your income is really low, that's why always set a budget in Every gambling activity you do, don't do anything stupid by using your savings or emergency money to continue gambling, you are just wasting your time because when you try hard to return your capital, then it will always be difficult to achieve success.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: November 20, 2023, 06:02:35 PM
I’m not a regular gambler nor an addicted gambler but I recently experienced a terrible chasing loss that start with small amount. I’m on a day off on my job right now due to my minor flu. My feeling got better while I don’t have things to do on my work dormitory so I decided to just gamble for fun only.

My game start by just betting minimum bet on a blackjack table with my initial deposit of 85$ which is my signature campaign earning last week. I lose my initial bank roll with just few bets on consistent losses. I decided to deposit again but this time with higher bankroll which is 250$. I bet twice the minimum bet this time since my bankroll is higher, the result is much terrible loss.

Lastly, I deposit 1800$ to have a better bankroll again, This time I’m betting like a high roller and lucky manage to recover my losses and bag 150$ profit.

Conclusion: I will never gamble again when I’m bored or chase loss small amount. With this exhilarating experience. I think I will stop gambling for a long time and reflec on what dumb thing I do today.
snip
Things that every gambler must avoid is playing gambling when they are bored, chasing to return capital and gambling over an excessive time limit.  i have also experienced this, but for now i will not do that again, when i run out of capital that i have set for today, i will stop, i will try to return my capital again tomorrow, because my luck will definitely be different. tomorrow.  The main rule in gambling is don't be greedy and don't chase after returning your capital one day, let it all start again tomorrow.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler's family action. on: November 19, 2023, 10:34:30 PM

Just two questions here:
1. Dis the family of this young man went too extreme in trying to help stop their brother from gambling addiction or not?

2. Assuming you are this young man and you had to run to a distant location to carry out your gambling as you are allowed to gambling within your neighborhood and luckily you won huge sum of million dollars. Would you share that money with your loved ones who were barring you from gambling or you will just stay off from them and live new found wealthy live alone?

Share your thoughts!
In fact, his family has given up on all the efforts they have made, so they took extreme measures by displaying photos of their family in many gambling shops, but to be honest, it will not be 100% successful because he is an impulsive gambler, he will definitely continues to try hard to fulfill his gambling desires, he will definitely go to a faraway place, so in my opinion, the best way to help someone get out of their gambling addiction is to guide the person to go to a psychiatrist and consult with them to get rid of the effects of the addiction that has become sticky in their head.

- do you have any survival tips during war period?
- are there any business that I can do during a period of war so as to sustain my family? Can I still budget, save and earn in Bitcoin?
- What is the economic impacts on individuals with families and how do I sustain them during war period.
i'm not an economic consultant, but i think the best way to survive during wartime is to buy only essential items, not be wasteful and be very consumptive.  As long as this happens, of course the basic needs business will be a favorite business, apart from that, the health and transportation business will also be a favorite too, choose the business that suits you.  if a war occurs globally then all citizens of the world will be harmed, the impact of the war is very large, and will usually cause major damage to a country's system, prepare yourself for all the worst possibilities during future wars.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Boycotting iSrAEl's product? think again. on: November 19, 2023, 09:19:48 PM
This is what I have in mind,  the effect of the boycott itself, there are many hundreds of workers who will be affected by the boycott of the above products, on the one hand the issue of humanity and the independence of Palestine is also important,
It's a good idea to research the truth further before boycotting,
Nowadays, there are a lot of people who find it difficult to verify the information they get first, apart from that they also take part in supporting the boycott of Israeli products, which will have a big impact on economic imbalance, i just read an advertisement, there are many Products that are on the boycott list have discounts of more than 30%.  To be honest, when a boycott occurs, the people who work are the ones who suffer losses, i have never supported the war between Israel and Palestine, i have also never supported the boycott of Israeli products.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: November 19, 2023, 07:10:10 PM
Gambling is dependent on luck, but we can be on the profiting side if we know when to stop and take a break. Most of us don't follow it, just the wins keep us high and we go for increased bet value. The same ends our wager at the shortest. To be on the safer side better choice is to spend on sports betting than casino games.
Every gambler has a type of game that they like and usually it is skill-based games such as sports betting and cards, but there are also gamblers who manage to make big profits from slot games, they play slots carefree because they like it, when gambling, a calm mind being clear, adequate rest, mental stability and feeling happy can make our chances of winning bigger.  Apart from that, i also learned never to use money obtained from loans, you will never win if you gamble with borrowed money.
519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 18, 2023, 11:31:42 PM
Entering the world of Bitcoin trading can be both exciting and daunting, especially for newcomers. The volatile nature of cryptocurrency markets and the plethora of information available can sometimes overwhelm new traders.

Todays question i would share how we overcame these hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie?.
actually trading is not that complicated, as long as you are disciplined with the trading activities you do then there is little chance of you making a loss, besides that there are many communities that will help you develop your skills in trading, don't close yourself off to trading communities that can help you build your skills in trading well.  like when you were in school, you wouldn't possibly know how to write letters and numbers if you didn't have a teacher to teach you, so apply this in trading too, as a beginner you really need a mentor, don't underestimate the big benefits you will get if you use a mentor.

This is why I personally implore us all to be wise in how we choose to save our money,
Keep one million dollars in the bank for 10 years, by the time the 10 years is over, you pull out your one million and discover it can't buy much because things are no longer at the same price as they were 10 years ago.

But keep one million dollars in bitcoin for 10 years, by the end of the 10 years, one million dollars must have turned into 5 million dollars or more, and even if things have become more expensive in the market, this money will pay for it all and you will still have a lot of money left to do other things.
i once argued with my friend, regarding the issue of good investment instruments, he said that deposits were the best but i said that the money you have in deposits will only decrease, he said why is it decreasing, i explained that the value of item A should be able to bought with 1 now, in the next few years item A can only be bought with 2 or 3, that means the value of the money he owns will halve in a few decades, he started to think about that and invested in bitcoin using the reward he got earn from deposit interest, even though he doesn't really believe in bitcoin, i'm happy because he wants to listen to me that bitcoin is the best investment instrument to protect the value of the money we have forever.
