501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 06, 2022, 08:54:33 AM
Maybe it is unfortunate that Chinese GP isn't going to take place in the new season again. However this is the right call actually. Because if they didn't remove it from the calendar then it would have just made things easier for covid-19 to spread among the spectators. It wouldn't have even been limited to the spectators so it might have caused a much bigger problem.

As far as I know it isn't going to be replaced with any other GP. This is at least good news for the drivers in terms of having a less busy schedule.
It is not just about the disease itself but also the rules as well. I mean when you are doing a GP, as the hosts you have some responsibilities, would you not have a media place ready? Would you not have stands? Would you not have garage for each team* There are some things that is asked of you, like can you have cracks on the track? Of course not, which means that F1 tells these hosts to do "some" things, and all hosts follow those rules because F1 is the one who makes the decisions, even when it is purely about racing, and yet all nations follow it, without doubt, %100 following the rules.

And yet here, when it is about the pandemic suddenly "nothing is going on!!! it's all part of a master plan!!" type of theory stuff, I am sorry but it is just the rules, just like any other rule that F1 requested.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the biggest marketcap of all coins - bigger than all coins mc combined: on: December 06, 2022, 05:49:03 AM
there is token called GELDC and it has the biggest marketcap of all coins
and if it gets listed at coinmarketcap dot com it
will be top 1 even in front of BTC and ETH and all the other low mc cap coins.
That is if it will ever be listed in CMC but doubt it because even the CMC itself will think this coin is too shady. They don't really welcome coins like that because it gives them a bad name. I only wonder if how can this coin have the biggest market cap when this was the first time we hear such coin?

What I know is that in order for the coin to achieve a big market cap it will be popular first because that is a sign that many people have pour their money on that coin. Idk why but after looking this coins name it reminds me of elgd or elron gold but this coin do only had a letter c on their name. Well it's not possible to copy the exact name of any existing coin.
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: December 05, 2022, 06:19:05 PM
The foundation of every business is capital, which is also what drives a business forward. Not just the capital, but also the amount to be invested, affects the profit you make, so when you want to start a business, you need to follow certain rules. Because capital is one of the main factors in production, I think the section where the author did some analysis about investing $500 and making millions of dollars is great advice for many. consider the amount you invest, if you don't have much you can still buy all are planning.
Starting with as little capital as possible is a key aspect of it though. Because if you know what you are doing, spending cash on anything is wrong, you should always use others money, other investors, banks loans, and anything else you can, and make a good profit.

However, that becomes a big trouble if you have no idea what you are doing and that's the issue, because many people have absolutely no idea what they are doing and they do not want to take out a loan or get others money involved, simply because they may lose it. Look at Apple, they had 100 billion dollars in cash, and took out a 20 billion dollar loan for construction Because, it's ALWAYS better to use others money.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 05, 2022, 05:06:52 PM
I hope in December is that the price will skyrocket soon and be able to return to the $20k level, if the price is still below $20k, I think 2023 will be even more difficult, especially since the current challenge is the global recession which can make investment performance decline and have an impact on bitcoin. and hopefully today's positive trend can continue so that the market recovers soon.
Shouldn't you be resting and trying to get healed before the world cup ends so that you can play for Juventus for the rest of the season? Lol, just kidding. I do agree that December price should be increasing the price very soon, it would be a lot better in the long run and for now it will have a small start.

I am not sure if it will be 20k or 19k or 18k or 22k, no idea where it will go, but I do believe that it won't be down, and it will be up, will it be %5 or 10% or 20%, none of that is known for now but the direction. That is my guess though, I agree with you but we could also be wrong and it could be 14k and drop so we really can't say what will happen for sure.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 04, 2022, 07:15:03 PM
Benzema often has injuries, but if you pay attention you will see that they are all minor, this may indicate that he is a cautious player and prefers to play it safe, but he does not spend much time on the bench. Young players are needed by the club, but if the team does not have such experienced players as Benzema and Modric, then it will be more difficult for them to gain experience and learn. These are team leaders who can lead young players to victory.
I would guess that even if he misses 4-5 games, that depends on which games he misses. Like lets assume he missed la liga and their cup games, that would be understandable but at the end of the day if he misses last games of la liga for a championship run and UCL finals, that would be bad. It is not about how frequent someone gets injured, it's about which games he misses.

Right now it's fine, and he is not missing much, and even didn't get surgery on his hand to make sure that he is better, because he would miss 3-4 months and that would be bad even during summer because he would miss national games. So all in all I am guessing that he won't miss important games, but he is getting older so maybe that could happen.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 04, 2022, 03:31:22 PM
Even though England is superior in terms of player material, Senegal strength should not be underestimated. Senegal is slowly reaching a good level even without its star player Sadio Mane who is currently injured. This match will be fierce because a number of Senegalese players such as Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly already have experience playing against English players.
England still rely on names like Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford to damage Senegal defense. Senegal will try to tighten up the defense to frustrated the English players by relying on the occasional counter attack.
I think you shouldn't consider Senegal to be that great when Mane is missing. Mane is the type of player that can get the ball and create a chance for himself out of nothing and score. Without him, Senegal is not good at all and they will not win. England is by far the superior team, and they were a superior team even when Mane was playing, but without him? They are even better and will stay better for sure.

I just hope that it would be an entertaining game to watch, but I wagered on England with ease, unless we see another huge shocker in world cup which has happened already, then we are going to see an easy win for sure and a good return on my bet.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 03, 2022, 07:49:23 PM
And am just curious if this won't affect the person in times to come
Under-aged gambling and under-aged drinking addictions are the most terrible addictions that can any person can pick up at a very young age. Sadly, as much as the government and its agencies are trying to checkmate this the onus lies on us as adults to take responsibly for looking out for under-aged gamblers and cautioning them where necessary, telling them about the dangers involved. Most under aged gamblers do not come from a stable home. We should take care to help them out were we can.
Unfortunately, the world is filled with people who smoke cigarettes and weed, drink booze, gamble, and do many underage things that they shouldn't do. I have to say it's a bit about the genetics as well, back in the day after 13-14 years old, kids would be enlisted on the army and go join wars, you think all those historical wars that we hear today were between adult people? All those "Rome attacked germanica with 40 thousand men" really meant men over 18?

Maybe over half of that was kids under 15, and even if not that much, it was a good chunk of it. So the body is not developed to be "not a kid" after 18, it's developed to be "not a kid" after 13, that is the problem.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 03, 2022, 06:35:03 PM
Let's see how it goes and hopefully they can all still be competitive in Serie A but yes, it's interesting for a different team to be the one to win the title this season. I personally don't really compare about the past where Napoli also won the Scudetto, I just feel that it is with Napoli's process that has happened a few seasons before. Then of course, it is very possible that this season is the right season for Napoli to actually be able to win the title because of the great effort he has put in so far.
With an 8 point difference with Milan in second place, I think it's a safe point gap.

Anyway, Napoli really have to keep making good results and don't lose matches too often, because with Napoli can be consistent in getting points even though the points obtained from a draw result but will still be good for Napoli.
That way, of course, Napoli will be able to maintain its position at the top of the standings, losing one or two matches is not a problem, because the competing teams in the title race will certainly not always get perfect results either.
I do agree that Napoli winning the title would be great, Juventus winning is never the trouble, I am not Italian so I don't care who wins, I just don't like to see any team winning more than 2-3 years back to back, in any sports, in any league of the world.

The best is when a team is great and wins 2-3 times in a row and just moves on. Look at the NBA, Warriors had one of the greatest runs, won one, and then had 73-9 season, and lost to Cavs, then had Durant added to that which meant they were amazing, only won 2 in a row and then lost to Toronto due to injuries. Shows you how difficult it is to win many in a row. Now imagine a team winning 10 years in a row at NBA, would be boring right? Juventus made it boring because of how many times they won, not because they won.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you believe in Litecoin? on: December 03, 2022, 04:10:52 PM
Litecoin has always been one of my favourite cryptos. It was the first crypto after Bitcoin, and it was the third crypto I mined first.

Nowadays, I do not mine cryptos any more, but I'm still hoarding Litecoin as I believe I will still make 10x or plus more than what I have invested. After Bitcoin, for me, it is the best.

So, how many of you still believe in Litecoin and think we will still see it go past the $500 mark again?
I have lost my interest in litecoin years ago , when i first learn and invest in crypto ? it is litecoin that i first bought and hold , i kept the coins for another year but instead of gaining? i lost so much from this so now i take this out for my choices in investing and transfer my faith in other coins.
so it is clear that I am not a believer of this coin anymore .
Well that was a problem when you joined, because if you join at the bad time then it could crash. However, if you joined in 2012-2013 like I did, and bought litecoin and hold it until now, the profit you would make could have been insane. I didn't hold it, I joined in those days, made about 10x back in the day and then sold it, I spent that money already unfortunately.

I have made a good living out of crypto, not rich right now but haven't been into any office for the past 7 years, that should be good enough "profit", and I would say if all of that money was given to be in total, I would have been able to buy a house with it easily (7 years worth of living expenses could equal to a house). So I know what I am talking about.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next crypto craze? on: December 03, 2022, 09:20:03 AM
I said the same thing a million times and I agree with you completely. I believe that NFT idea of ownership could be used for so many more things, it could end up being utilized perfectly one day and could grow so much.

It is obvious that we are not going to end up seeing how it will be a year later, or ten years later we have no idea how it will be, but we know that it is going to be better than what it is right now. I hope that people will realize the key to success on this NFT business thing is not to have just art, but some other things. Gaming joined, but it was just items being NFT basically, we need something much bigger than that for sure.
That is a long shot though, we do not have a clue if people will understand what it could be used for. I know that there are plenty other ways that NFT idea (ownership proof) could be used, and that's a good thing, music for example took an interest into it and that could be good because royalties could be shared by the NFT owners, but at the same time we are talking about something small here, compared to what "pictures" became.

After the next bull run, we will see if people saw that potential or not, if there is nothing but images again, then we shouldn't wait for people to eventually understand, but if we have another thing growing thanks to NFT then it could maybe work.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: December 02, 2022, 09:15:02 PM
Speculation arises that by 2024 is scheduled to halve and people expect a price surge during that time making themselves that buying today will give them huge profits. It guarantees nothing but even without halving, I still believe that the price of Bitcoin will grow.

I have enough Bitcoins and a few altcoins ready for the next bull season.
I wasn't sure when the next bull season comes but I know that I am ready for it and the bag is full already. So, for those who have not yet, I think it was time for them to secure some and make ready also for the next price rally.
I think it is no longer a "speculation" if you ask me. bitcoin had a few halvings so far and in all of them we faced with the fact that price went up and that is what people are expecting again this time around as well. I am not saying that we shouldn't be really expecting it to be any different, it would probably be something similar, and that is why I feel like it is going to be easy to handle it as well this time around.

When 2024 hits, there will be halving, and slowly it will grow and grow and keep growing until it heats a peak above ATH and then it will start to go down. That is what I assume will happen, won't be easy but it will be possible for sure.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 02, 2022, 07:06:34 PM
Ferrari's main problem this year was certainly its engine... Ferrari's uneven performance in the last races of the 2022 Formula 1 season, which started in Mexico and extended to the "fight" they had against the team from Red Bull in Abu Dhabi, show how critical this problem was.

Anyone who has followed the team's trajectory this year knows that they had two problems to deal with: the first is the adjustment of the power unit, mainly the size of the turbo, which was not ideal for races at high altitude, such as the one that took place in Mexico. It's in Brazil.
The second was Mattia Binotto's confirmation after the last GP, as the team had to reduce engine performance in these last races because of reliability concerns.

In addition, Ferrari still had some failures of "great magnitude" and that cost a lot at the beginning of the campaign... Charles Leclerc incidents in Spain, then in Azerbaijan and finally the fire of Carlos Sainz in Austria . All this forced Ferrari to have to reduce the pace a little while they looked for a solution to the already existing problems.

I hope they now have enough time to get the shop in order and return for the 2023 season with everything set up.
These are good problems to have actually, because it means you bilt a good car but it has problems running, if you can make the reliability problem gone, and make the car running at 100% without issues, that means you are going to win many races. Of course that's not easy neither, but building a good car is even harder, fixing the DNF issues is a lot better than building a good car.

Ferrari also had a lot of troubles with pit strategy and tire strategy as well, we all saw this, they called pilots at the wrong times and often had wrong tire choices as well. If they can fix the reliability issue and also the strategy team, then they have a very good chance to win it next year.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 02, 2022, 04:49:33 PM
Chelsea should be underrated completely in the Champions League.  They have no track record, just that once they won the CL against Guardiola doesn't mean they are not experts in the Champions League. Chelsea is not a contender and their is no hope for them. They didn't take Champions League seriously than English Premier league, what happened is that EPL was stronger and hotter for them. Everyone wants to do well in EPL at the same time this season. There is no great hope for Chelsea in the CL.
I have to say it's clear that we are not going to see Chelsea to be a big team in UCL this year, but at the same time there are not that many favourites that end up winning most years neither. Like just last year, we saw real being not favourites against psg and city and Liverpool and yet they beat them all, or previous year Chelsea themselves came all the way to finals and beat City as well.

These are all proof that we are talking about how underdogs of a size could win. I am not expecting Benfica or Porto or Napoli type of team to win it, but Chelsea is a big club and even though they are not favourites, they would still be able to win it for sure.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: December 01, 2022, 05:55:31 PM
Some stable coins such as tether and busd have officially received guarantees from the USA financial authority so I'm sure it's safe, and I have used stable coins for more than 3 years and have never been problematic, stable coins have an algorithm that makes its value stable even though the market is sinking or skyrocketing .
I would guess that stablecoins could become a trouble the moment the company behind it gets into trouble and that is the issue. I mean you may not believe that it could happen, but just because it ran greatly for 3 years doesn't mean it will do so forever. Plenty of companies that run for 50 years ended up being terrible later on, that is the risk that you are taking when investing.

I still dislike stablecoins for one reason, they are fiat posing as crypto. If I wanted fiat so much, I would have it in my bank account and not in binance, so it is a lot better for me to focus towards crypto and buy crypto currencies because I got into this world to buy them, not stablecoins.
515  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ Football Injuries and Injury Updates! on: December 01, 2022, 04:50:40 PM
It is very unfortunate for Senegal and Germany losing their best players to injury. Senegal will play the round 16 with England with sadio mane the African best player and Germany is already on the process of elimination with Marco Reus. We still hoping for Sadio mane to perform in the world cup before Senegal get elimination.
the injury issue of sadio mane is something that, from what i could read and understand, he will not be able to improve in time to play a game in this world cup, maybe i can assume that even if senegal reached the final of the world cup, he would not be there better health to play in the world cup final, so they are just thinking about him being better for next year's games in the bundesliga, and he was really unlucky, he was the main player in senegal that gave a lot of strength in the qualifying games for the world cup, he reminds me of El Hadji Diouf, but at least El Hadji Diouf played in the world cup for senegal and played very well, without a doubt that mane if he had played he would have been able to score goals in this world Cup

https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/articles/senegal-sadio-mane-will-miss-world-cup-2022-qatar
I also understand Mane because he is one of the best players in the world let alone best Senegal player, but Reus is not really "that" good, missing him shouldn2t really disrupt Germany all that much.

I agree that he is a good player, but we aren't talking about like Mbappe to France, or Messi to Argentina level of importance here, Reus is good, even great, but he is not a world class superstar level player that worths 150 million or something, dude is a good player and that's it. Without him, Germany should still be able to beat everyone and for some reason they had so much hard time so far, and I am guessing they will continue to have hard time.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 03:01:22 PM
Very sad news for Saudi Arabia as if they could have won against Mexico they would have had a chance to go to the second round.  But due to the loss of Saudi Arabia, their number of points was reduced to 3 points.  And Mexico's point number four is one of the two teams that couldn't go up.  Here was a great opportunity for Saudi Arabia which they missed.  If they had won, they would have gone to the second round.
And the interesting thing about them is the fact that they got the 3 points from the hardest opponent, and that means it was a shocker to everyone as well, but they couldn't get any other points from any of the other games. I do believe that we should not be shocked that they got eliminated, that was what was expected of them to be fair, we should be shocked that they even had a chance to go up, and that's good enough.

I personally believe that they did good this tournament, better than what people imagined they would and they should be proud of that. Arabian teams are getting better these days, they are showing signs of improvement compared to back in the day.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: November 30, 2022, 08:51:31 PM
Currently, Bitcoin price has crossed 16k and touched 17k. Here the trade has been very good.  And currently I am in profitable stage.  Because the market has risen so fast that it is beyond imagination.  But I am very happy with the trading because currently the bitcoin market is very fast.
The decline that occurred in Bitcoin is also faster, and you also need to be careful when you see a faster increase in Bitcoin even if only in a very small size. Because the increase that occurred in Bitcoin from $ 16K to around $ 17K is very little and it is still not enough when viewed from the hopes of many people who want Bitcoin to be able to re-create ATH in the near future. A slight increase is only good for trading in the short term, because everyone can immediately sell with a small profit before buying back at a lower price.
The point is that the increase from 16k to 17k is the amount of money that you will see before it goes to 20k, you can't go from 16k to 20k without hitting 17k in the middle. Right now, people are wondering if that's the case, or was this the only increase we will get. Maybe it went from 16k to 17k and then will move to 20k, or maybe it went from 16k to 17k and then stays here.

We do not know which one is the case, but there are some group of people like me who thinks that the price will continue to go up. I think it will definitely go up, and that means we are going to see plenty of increases and we are not too late to get in just now, we can still jump in at this price.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 30, 2022, 05:19:02 PM
No top strikers want to spend time on the bench, unless they get injured. As long as Benzema is in a good condition, he surely will be the main option as a CF. Sure, it may be one of the reasons why some strikers don't want to join Real Madrid soon. However, everyone knows that Benzema can play in several positions, which means he can play together with a new striker.
Benzema is still a best striker in Real Madrid with great skills and most experience. If he is healthy and ready for matches, Carlo Ancelotti will send him in. It is not depended on Benzema himself but Real Madrid and the coach actually need to have Benzema for their attacking.

It is definitely true that Real Madrid must prepare for Benzema retirement or just his less contribution because of ageing. Anyway, Benzema is still usable for Real Madrid in near future and with his attitude, I don't think he will have issues if in future, he will have a new position, as one of substitutions for Real Madrid.
When you are talking about a player like Mbappe, all teams in the world would be willing to listen to him and give him a chance to join. Real might be disappointed with him, and wanted him and couldn't get him so they could be looking for other players right now, but if Mbappe (well his agent) ever comes knocking the door, they will hear them out and if they can afford to get him (which is hard now) that means we are going to end up seeing him playing for Real, it's all about finances.

PSG kept him because they were willing to offer him insane amount, but if Real got an offer that is realistic then they would love to get him for sure.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 30, 2022, 11:16:52 AM
I agree with what you said about Union Berlin, they won't be back as quickly as they were at the start of the season. And now I'd rather say they were lucky at that time because when they are playing well, the other team is doing the opposite of their form, so they are easy to be on top for a while. Now that other teams are slowly returning, it is difficult for them to compete with such teams as Freiburg and Leipzig.
When you look at Union Berlin, which is currently in the same slump as Bayern Munich did in several previous matches, they prefer to lose until they come out to the bottom three and now Union Berlin is in fifth place when they get good opponents and are easy to beat. made himself back to compete for the first position.
Sometimes teams needs to see the bottom in order to get better and Union had the same thing. It's quite easy to lose your focus on the game for a while as a team, if the chemistry and the atmosphere in the locker room is bad then you would not be able to win any games and everyone would be looking at each other to be the first one to get fired up and get some ambition.

Thankfully they got it, but they won't be at the top level if you ask me, they would be just fighting for a place to go to UCL next year, that's the best they can do, that's the highest level they can achieve, I can't see them finish second, it will probably be either 5th or 4th by the end of the season.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 29, 2022, 06:49:52 PM
Napoli in Serie A will stay in first place for a long time and even until the end of the season, because I also see that almost all teams in Serie A are unable to beat Napoli so teams like Juventus and AC Milan only have the chance to fight for second and third places. Because the first position in the standings will always be dominated by Napoli this season in Serie A.

After all, if the target of the Juventus team or other teams is only to be in a good position or to be precise in a position that can lead them to the Champions League next season, then the position of the four standings is also not so bad if the target is not to win the Scudetto this season.
I feel like they are already the champions and will probably stay that way. There are no other teams that could end up with a title run if they really win the whole games but Napoli already did that, they are undefeated and doing amazing and I do not think that they will start to lose games all of a sudden.

Sure they could have a few losses by the end, I do not expect them to stay undefeated forever, but that doesn't mean that it would make sense for them to lose their position just because they lost a few games. All in all it will be a big deal for them to stay here, and I feel like it will happen very well too because they are doing so great.
