Mbappe is a very good player no doubt but I think the offer given to him by PSG was too good to refuse that's why he didn't join Real Madrid. PSG did everything they can to keep him.
I disagree with you when you said as long as Messi and Ronaldo are are still around, Mbappe won't win a world best. The only competition he might still have for the world best among those two is just Messi. Ronaldo is never getting into the top 5 again, not at this point in his career. If he plays better than Messi then he'll win the Balon d'or at PSG.

The chapter of Ronaldo and Messi has already closed, it is only Messi that is still showing some strength because he is younger than Ronaldo. He is doing well in the World Cup,  if he eventually wins the world cup, we know that another award is waiting for Messi.
But beyond this season we are looking forward to Mbappe and Haaland generation

If Madrid don't fix up immediately I think they're going to have a problem in the future. The need a 9 to replace Benzema. They need a very reliable winger on the right just like Vinicius on the left.
That midfield of Touchmeni, Velverde and Camavinga is not a world class midfield. Velverde is not that guy, I'm sorry. So if Kross and Modric leaves without been replaced with good players then it's going to be a very big problem.

It's good  they're going for Mbappe. They're a proud team and would most likely not go for him again so soon but I'd advise they swallow their pride and go for him. With Mbappe their attack would be much better and have all three forwards that are prolific goal scorers.

IMO, Madrid are doing renewal with their young players. there are Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, they are young players who still need to explore their potential so that they are more mature in the game. after all, they are still under command and guided by their senior players, such as Modric and Kroos.

However, the agreement has been running for the last few seasons and still has not found a bright spot. Even if I'm not mistaken some time ago it seems that Kylian Mbappe has agreed to a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain until the 2025 season. I also believe Mbappe will have a career at Real Madrid as well in the future. But as you said he has priorities at PSG first. PSG have zero Champions League title in their history and it is their biggest chance to achieve it as long as they don't lose any player in this attacking trio. Mbappe also seems to be happy with his game here.

There have been some times that Mbappe was uncomfortable with some of the players in the squad. For example he wasn't getting along with Neymar but now it seems like their relationship is better than before. Mbappe still loves to be a part of PSG as he indicated before. I also don't expect him to leave before winning the Champions League title.

I honestly don't see Paris Saint Germain's chances any better than any other team. Even though their current team is star-studded, that was not the only factor that allowed them to win the title. There are many other factors they need to really make that happen, like the mentality of the players for example. That is another important thing that they must have as well as good teamwork they must have, because overall they don't have very good chemistry.
