I got 6,900 Stellar coins when i register to them. I do hope it will be valuable later. I don't know it yet if we can mine, any one ever heard of them too?
What part of the world do you live in ? stellar is currently a worldwide trending topic in crypto world, it's being discussed here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=719019.0 with hundred of replies

probably it means the .001% of the avalaible supply of BTC at that time (snapshot). Actually there are 13,105,025 (coinmarketcap data) so the 0,001% is 131,05. With that amount of btc you would get 190k stellars, and with 0.001 btc you would get 1,45 stellar in this scenario.
Exactly, as I said, per bitcoin you will get about 1500 stellars. The only question is, when are those stellars distributed? trading sites like mintpal, bittrex and cryptsy that hold big amount of BTC from their customers will get tons of stellars, that's really unfair.

If I registered yesterday would the reward be 900 + 100 for sending and thats all? No bonuses?
No, actually you'll get 4000 for connecting your FB account, 500 is given instantly after FB validation, and the rest (3500) will be distributed soon. The question is, how long is "soon" ?

CG is alive, he told me he solved a big problem in the wallet via PM. I think he wants not to be disturbed while improving ZS.
Would you mind posting your conversation with CG here ? We as investors reserve the right to know what have been going on and the future of this coin

That's the power of facebook, even some noobs in facebook that have no idea what stellar was and know nothing about crypto world, were 'forced' to register and sent their coins to someone else

Don't have your address (as you can see in the list it says "waiting" in the address slot). I'll double check to see if you submitted your address after.
I've sent you a pm with my PMP address, sorry for the delay

"Oops! This Facebook account is already in use." I'm the only one with this problem? Someone has had your login info for sure, it seems that your computer is compromised or you ever had logged in your fb account on phishing sites

I can't agree more than that. And only facebook why not twitter or any other shitty social media site They are using facebook because it is the largest database of identity as mentioned on the front page of the site. "Registration for the initial direct signup program will be done via Facebook. We are using Facebook as our initial login methodology because it is the largest database of identity, and our goal is to reach as many people as possible with our educational programs before running out of funds. Therefore, we need a system that allows us to screen out duplicate or spam accounts. We will set up a website where anyone can come and register. We will also make reasonable best effort to screen out fraudulent accounts or people with multiple Facebook accounts. Once the direct signup program has commenced, the Foundation will begin work on alternative channels for distribution of stellars, including SMS and other online channels, in order to allow more people access without having to have a Facebook account."

Couldn't login to stellar, it said "unable to contact the server", I am wondering whether the site is now fully loaded with new registration from all over the wolrd.

Nothing, been waiting for 2 days but my account is still zero. They promised to distribute STR for members in wait list today, let's see how far that goes

thanks for the feedback. I believe that I now have the correct password but when I try to restore the wallet.dat at blockchain.info using an empty blockchain.info wallet's restore backup option I get an error message stating "warning! data may have changed but cannot sync as you have unsaved keys." Is there another way to restore an old wallet.dat , unsaved keys? if you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. The size of the wallet.dat in question is 96kb and I am fairly certain that the btc are there. Would downloading the whole blockchain and utilizing bitcoin core bring better results? I was going to try that next but the size of the thing turned me sour. I gave up for a while and now I am at it again. If I find out that I have been trying to restore a wallet.dat with no balance I will not only be a bitcoin maniac, I will be a bitcoin fool. any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The first thing you should do is try to find out which address that holds the money in your wallet.dat file. You can use pywallet dump to achieve that. 1. Download and install python for windows ( http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.2/python-2.7.2.msi ) 2. Download pywallet.py from https://github.com/joric/pywallet 3. Start a windows command prompt ('cmd'), and use: pywallet.py --dumpwallet > mywallet.txt to put the information into a file named mywallet.txt 4. Open mywallet.txt and find an address with a 'label' line, that would be the address that holds the money 5. Open the address in blockchain.info to know how much the money in that address https://blockchain.info/address/your_btc_addrThen try to import your wallet.dat into blockchain.info using this link https://blockchain.info/wallet/import-wallet
