I hold Quant but I don’t see or hear many others involved with it so just wondering if anyone else is bullish on it too? I know supply isn't everything but with only 14million it is less than Bitcoin so very scarce I am just hoping it does really well in the coming bull run. If someone could breakdown the above link also and why this is great news for Quant?

I am just feeling my patience being tested today that's all - I have not sold anything at a loss and wont.
Hopefully we only have a few more months of this bear market and things will start to look up.
I started my crypto journey at the worst possible time one week after the Bitcoin all time high so it has just been a long 18 months of buying and holding I am just hoping it pays off next year and 2025.

Hard to say how low it will go. I knew that we were not gonna see big numbers this year, so I don't care. I'm just gonna keep buying it while it's below $30k. If you're feeling bad just don't watch crypto knew and don't watch your portfolio every day, relax and do some other things.
Yeah I have been in crypto 18 months now and it has just been a long 18 months and for the first time feel it testing my patience. I will hold though will not be selling anything and just keep reminding myself 2024/2025 will hopefully be better times for us all. |

I bought the other day and we have seen yet another crash since then it feels like there is so much bad news and FUD at the moment.
I feel like having a break as I am starting to feel we could go close to the lows of last year, not sure if we will go that low but could go close so thinking of waiting until we see at least another 10% drop to buy more.
How is everyone else feeling?

Are you someone who has just entered the crypto space @JamesDaniel90 ?, If not, you should already understand how cycles in the crypto space work. When conditions are good, there will always be news that isn't pleasant to hear (this is part of the cycle), so don't worry. I mean, never mind what happens to $ALGO because of bad news from the SEC. If I were you (and believed in $ALGO), I would start my accumulation at this low price. I last bought some Algorand at $0.14 which I thought was a fantastic price at the time but it just keeps going lower!
I will not sell, will hold for now and buy more if it falls down to $0.11 which would be near its all time low.
I believe in Algorand and if it does get through this it can see great returns next bull run

I thought almost everyone agrees that XRP is shitcoin and the only people who talk about it in a positive way are either getting paid or bought a ton of it years ago and they still don't want to believe that they lost their money.
Sounds like you lost your money  If XRP win the case like it is expected it will be very good news not only for XRP but the whole crypto market. |

Look at the severe drop in ICP price; this is really bad as its percentage drop is so high compared to other altcoin coins in the top market cap. So while I am hoping it will be able to return to the old ATH level, I think it is unlikely because, anyway, this project really doesn't have much momentum and there are too few people interested in the technology brings at the present time. So if you are looking for short-term investment, this may seem fine, but for long-term investment with ICP, I think it is really not.
I do not need it to go anywhere near its all time high to see great returns. My average price is $5 so I will be happy with it reaching $75-$100 which I think is doable once the bull run is back. |

More precisely, Impossible. I believe that ICP is a good token but the price of 450 Euros is a very high value for a token with a supply of over 400,000,000 ICP. My prediction is that ICP will hit $20 - $30 if they continue to do development for their projects. Why so bearish with that prediction that is only a 4-6x on current price? We are in a bear market still I am expecting at least 10x from current price next bull run. |

I was just about to start DCA but it has pumped 30% in the past 24 hours.
I was doing a bit of research yesterday and many are saying XDC should do very well if XRP win the law suit which I believe they will so I want to bag a few thousand while prices are low but will now wait for it to retrace a bit.

No one knows when Bitcoin will next pump I just don't agree with you that it will not be until the halving next year.
Yes it will pump after the halving but it could still have a pump towards the end of this year which I what I think will happen.

ICP reached an all time high of almost £450 in May 2021 but is currently trading at £5.
I understand we are in a bear market but this is a massive drop and wondering if it is worth an investment.

in 2021 ICP really went crazy reaching $400 more and in that same year ICP experienced a dump until in 2023 the ICP price was only $4, of course this is very good for investment if you don't have ICP yet, because there is a possibility that you can still recover at least $100 up to $200 in bullish later. I am currently working my way to 100 ICP. I feel that is a good number to hold until the bull run , would be very happy if it goes back to $100 again that would give me a 20x. |

In my opinion, the next altcoin pump goes hand in hand with the bitcoin pump which will most likely occur during the next bitcoin halving. Therefore, my advice is that you better hold on to altcoins and wait for the next pump because now is not the right time to sell bitcoins or altcoins.
Bitcoin will pump again this year it doesn't have to wait for the halving that is when the real pump will start. Hopefully we will see an altcoin pump in the next few months or so. |

I understand we are still in a bear market but this has really fallen since its all time high in 2021. I am debating if I should DCA at these levels or not  I still feel it is a good investment but am not sure why it has fallen so much. Anyone still bullish on Algorand for next bull run? |

Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.
Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?

yes xrp may be more profitable in a bull run comparing to btc. But considering market cap, total supply, fdv etc xrp is too risky investment.
It is risky but it could 10-20x next bull run depending on how much hype comes into it after winning the court case. Bitcoin is good for long term and I am planning on putting my profits from my altcoins into Bitcoin. |

Everyone is so against someone going against Bitcoin on this forum PEPE - a meme coin done more in a few hours than Bitcoin has done in years. Yes it is rubbish but it made people money and that is what I am here for to make money. Yes Bitcoin is safe but it also has limited returns compared to other altcoins. I will take my chances with XRP - it will do a 10x in no time once it comes out they have won the case. Because it is your money and fully under your control, you are free to invest in any token. I understand with your assessment of the high profit potential of several of the selected Altcoins. However, keep in mind that it is a possibility, not a certainty. If you are willing to lose money, you are free to invest in whatever altcoin you choose, including XRP, but keep in mind that XRP did not make new ATHs during the last bull season, and it did not even reach its previous highs. Personally, I continue to prioritize Bitcoin as the primary option. It did not reach previous all time highs last bull run because of the law suit against it but with this now looking like it will be over by the end of the year the price should shoot past all time high. Does this means you are holding XRP even before 2021? if you happen to believe that the lawsuit will be over sooner then yeah it will make you instant millionaire . maybe I will keep some of my altcoins in possession . but try not to consider pure xrp in your folio because if that lawsuit did not succeed then xrp will maintain the prices from what it has years past . No only started buying XRP a few weeks ago - I will not go crazy just buy a few thousand and hope it does well next bull run. |
