I too want to quit investing in ICO, I only got few projects that are successful, most of my investment failed or was not able to follow their roadmap so nothing happened with my investment. So what i am planning is leave ICO but once the coin was listed in exchanges i'll buy tons of them while its new and price are still low. I think that way is better than investing in ICO because i can buy and sell it already in exchanges.

Very possible especially if that someone has a lot of money to use to manipulate virtual currency market once they sold or bought a huge stock of virtual currency its market will surely change and people will follow with the change. That is where the manipulation starts with that someone who have the guts to dropped or buy huge stacks of virtual currency.

The only possible reason for flat currency to crashed if a government will release lots of flat currency supply. In supply and demand if there are many supply the demand is low therefore price can crash, likewise if the supply is not that many the demand is high therefore price will rise. Same in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

What i've been doing lately when i am gambling is do 10x 1k satoshi bet at 1% chance, if win do a new 10x 1% chance at 1k satoshi after 10 rolls at 1% chance is no win then change chance to 88% and bet 120k satoshi in high or low after 1 win in 88% chance go back to 1% chance at 10 rolls. Rinse and repeat i was able to win 0.07 BItcoin with 0.01 bankroll but of course because i want to win more i change my bet amount and lose everything. Do it at your own risk. Goodluck

Mining is not that very effective especially if you don't have your own rig, most of the sites will not pay you once you invested a lot for hashrate. Best way to start in Bitcoin is by investing a little amount of money, then look for an ICO that you think will be achieving its goal or roadmap and just invest all your Bitcoin on it and just wait until that coins price sky rocket. That is how i will start with Bitcoin because if i will buy a whole Bitcoin it will take me lots of dollars, i wont be able to afford Bitcoin current price. So Buy small amount, invest in ICO then profit in the future. Rinse and repeat.

Advantage:

I am very sorry for your losses, 10 BTC is a large amount if you will convert it all today. I'd like to think that there is no Coin that will surpass Bitcoin one of the reason is because Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, from dust to 11k USD, Over the past few years the Bitcoin supporters are increasing and new companies are integrating Bitcoin as one of their payment methods with those Bitcoin price will keep growing and other crypto will fall behind more. That is why i believe that no coin will be able to surpass Bitcoin as the #1 Crypto.

Reason why Bitcoin price is increasing because there are many investors who bought when the price was dropping. now they are only holding those Bitcoin and the demand is increasing so is the price. If you will check the price chart Bitcoin is recovering from the last drop.

I prefer Litecoin than ripple, aside from owning LITECOIN you can also gamble it in some sites because there are sites that accept litecoin. LTC keeps on growing up slowly but surely and it has more potential than RIPPLE. But the fact is i have a few coins of each coin but i was planning to add more Litecoin in the future.
