501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is keeping your hands out from the current market situation saves your profit? on: November 13, 2018, 08:13:30 AM
i am afraid it is already too late to keep your hands out of the market! because the dumps have happened and most of them are already too big that they have caused you to not only lose all your profit but also lose any kind of initial investment that you had!
not to mention that the dumps are over for most of the smaller coins while the bigger ones still struggle to not get dumped more.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody heard of Whalecoin - Is it legit to invest or mine it? on: November 13, 2018, 08:07:12 AM
coins that were created clearly for pump and dumps are never a good idea for any kind of involvement including mining and trading. they are always riskier than others.

these coins are only good if you are an experienced trader who is completely familiar with pump and dumps and how they work. otherwise you will end up buying late and getting dumped on to lose money.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin in this coming year end of 2018? on: November 13, 2018, 07:55:48 AM
in about a year from now when you look at the chart you will see the same exact thing which is this current peak on the chart will be a part of the flat line like $1200 is currently a part of a flat line!!!

by then you will realize that bitcoin has always had this roller coaster thing where it unloads the weak hands and only keeps those who understand bitcoin. it is like a purge.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to make the crypto acceptance universal. on: November 13, 2018, 07:45:20 AM
It isn't hard to explain to people interested in crypto what bitcoin is and what a mess altcoins can be for newbies in this space.

Until the altcoin scammers go broke, we just have to tell people about the value their is in bitcoin and let the graph speak for itself over time.

Until the ICO's, that can't get venture capital funding (because their projects suck and won't make money), we have to just hodl and store value in bitcoin.

The longer the scammers try and market shitcoins and stupid ideas, the longer adoption of bitcoin and the few valuable altcoins will take.

the shit projects are not going anywhere because it is easy to create them and also it is easy to copy a project since everything is open source. and that means making money here is easy.
people also know this so they continue investing in shitcoins. so when they get pumped they can increase their bitcions.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop calling Bitcoin ''stable'' it's not. on: November 13, 2018, 07:38:13 AM
in my opinion you are too hard on what people say. being "stable" doesn't mean it is always going to be stable. but it is currently stable. which is the same as having low volatility at the moment but that doesn't mean bitcoin stopped being volatile.

this is a trend before the rise begins.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is one exchange showing a different % Gain? on: November 12, 2018, 09:14:25 AM
first of all these links are NOT exchanges. they are third party websites that get the price from exchanges then show it to you. always remember that if you want real price and real changes, go visit the exchanges themselves instead of these third party websites.

secondly the difference is because of the way they are calculate gains. i believe coinmarketcap uses last 24 hours which means if now is 1 PM it uses the price at 1 PM yesterday and it will update it when it becomes 1:5 PM and so on while others may be using the close price of the day instead.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin will trigger the next cryptocurrency explosion IF it is not bitcoin? on: November 12, 2018, 09:05:39 AM
all through history every single altcoin pumping season (not single altcoin pumps that happen every day but a all around all altcoin pumps) have been started when bitcoin price had a huge rise.

these pumps happen because when bitcoin rises it attracts a lot of newbie investors who idiotically invest in altcoins too to make profit in something they think can grow as big as bitcoin. that is why these pumping seasons exist in first place.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH fork new coin. How does ETH price change? Rise or down? on: November 12, 2018, 09:00:45 AM
this fork has always been something that people expected for a pump and based on the evidence at hand and the timing they choose for it, i think they are actually aiming for an attempt at pumping ethereum.

but the fork itself is no good if you ask me which means we may see a very wild couple of weeks during that fork with initially a pump and then a severe dump. mainly as an exit plan by the whales to get out a bigger profit.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinCash fork 15th of November. Logo looks as bad as their coins... on: November 12, 2018, 08:27:04 AM
one thing about these types of forks is that nobody cares about the technology let alone something trivial such as the logo! for all we know the coin might not even have a chain after a week.

all people care about is the profit that they can make out of it. from the developer/creator of the forked coin to everyone who claims or trades these coins.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market, a fix to greedy ICO's on: November 12, 2018, 08:19:23 AM
the term "bear market" is a wrong thing to use for altcoins, specially for ICOs because this is not a bear market really. instead this is a "dumping period" which is the other side of the manipulation market of altcoins which was pump.

as for ICOs we consider them "near dead" because of the increased awareness among people in this market who no longer trust them and no longer want to gamble their money not just because they are dumping.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your understanding of a Masternode? on: November 12, 2018, 08:05:55 AM
my understanding is that masternode is a bad design if you want a truly decentralized network because that will only limit the number of real nodes to a handful instead of anybody who wants being able to run a node. and the bigger the network gets, the more costly will be the masternode and it limits (centralize) it further.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was made by CIA or NSA on: November 12, 2018, 07:55:47 AM
it will come down to your understanding of how bitcoin works!

in a decentralized peer to peer network you can not control, ban, manipulate, fake,... anything. it is not just about the project being open source (that only covers part of it) but it is about it being peer to peer. like torrents network, Tor network,... you can't ban these things anymore than you can ban bitcoin.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HOW DO WE INCREASE THE VALUE OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES? on: November 12, 2018, 07:42:25 AM
for bitcoin the job is easy, you just have to start from yourself and start spending bitcoin and if you have a business start accepting bitcoin payments or even if you are an employee start asking for part of your salary in bitcoin.

but it is impossible for altcoins because most of them are not even recognized by anybody and also the fact that people only see them as pump and dumps that are used for speculation not as a currency. and they are not designed for it either.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you see the future of cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2018, 07:59:11 AM
the technology on its own is very good and if you look past the thousands of shitcoins you can see that it is being improved constantly moving forwards. but unfortunately the market is filled with shitcoins that have also taken the place of good coins that belong to the top of the list.

what i see in the future is the same trend but i also speculate that it won't last for long. eventually we will see good coins be created which will then push the current shitcoins down in the list and we can finally see good coins be in places of #2, #3 and so on.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash "BCC" will rise up crazyyy !!! on: November 05, 2018, 07:52:54 AM
don't believe everything you read online. they are trying to fool you into buying bitcoin cash from them so that they can see a pump where they dump their coins and make a profit from their short term investment and as the price dumps they will short it on the way to the ground and make even more profit.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Stable Token the key to mass adoption? on: November 05, 2018, 07:42:30 AM
if we actually can come up with a concept to create a new innovative cryptocurrency that is both stable and decentralized then it will revolutionize the cryptocurrency and decentralized world for good.

but unfortunately we have not been able to create any coin that satisfies ANY of the two factors above. the coins that are called "stable coins" are neither stable nor decentralized.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH]Predicted Price of ETH 2018, Will Ethereum be equal to Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 07:29:22 AM
you can dream all you like about price of an altcoin but the fact is that an altcoin that has unlimited supply can never grow let alone reach bitcoin price!

and ethereum not only has unlimited supply but also it already has a huge circulating supply of above 100 million which means it can never even go back to its own ATH at this point.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On Bitcoin Cash supporters' belief that Bitcoin Cash is more "P2P" than Bitcoin on: November 05, 2018, 07:22:28 AM
Maybe to begin, we should ask "is Bitcoin technically peer to peer when sending a payment?".

peer to peer means when you want to send something to someone else you don't need a third party in the middle to send. like a server to connect to, a payment processor to go through,... there are only peers that are "equal" on this network and when you send a transaction you send it to these peers. and as long as there is no restrictions on who can become  a "peer" on this network it will remain that way.

but if there is a restriction of who can become a peer (like masternodes) then it is not peer to peer, it is peer to a server (the master node) then to another peer.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you ready for the next D-day? on: November 03, 2018, 01:41:51 PM
don't get your hopes up for a bitcoin price drop below $6k. you can place some low bid orders there so that you can win the lottery and have them filled with some miracle but other than that, there is no chance for it to happen.

on the other hand there is still a huge risk for another wave of altcoin dumps to hit the market again like what happened month ago when bitcoin stayed where it was while altcoins went down from 20% to 50%.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ether going forward? on: November 03, 2018, 01:34:43 PM
Hi everyone! Tell me please: Does investing in Ether become more interesting for you due to the current changes and what will be your forecast for the growth of the coin?
I also hope, same you .  But there are too many bad news for BTC and the situation is not very good. If the BTC drops below  6k$, then I think the ETH is even falling to 100$.
ETH last year peaked at $ 1,200, with only a market capitalization of $ 800 billion. ETH would return to its former peak.

I think that's a low probability. ETH falls to $100 and if the BTC falls below 6k,  it will be a big problem in the market. I don't think the whales will allow it. Because the market needs new investments. If trust falls, new investors don't come.

bitcoin fall down to $6000 is only about 2% drop but ETH dropping to $100 is more than half (50%) of its price. they are not at all the same but there is same possibility of them happening!
because as $6000 is the bottom for bitcoin, a price lower than $100 is the bottom for ETH which means it can and it should drop to that price.

besides whales can only manipulate so much before they also get crushed under the dumps. and you are forgetting that whales make more money from  dumps when they short and then buy back at the bottom  so they love that kind of ETH dump.
