502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the maximum amount you keep at a single exchange on: February 29, 2016, 04:56:20 PM
After I was scammed earlier, I try to keep the minimum amount possible in any online site and exchange. But still at some trusted sites I try to keep some 0.1 btc , but whom I trust a lot.
Yes we should divide out Bitcoins in different Online wallets to minimize the risk of being stolen. Can you tell which is the most trusted Wallet online available ?

i have all my btc in coinbase cold storage as coinbase seems to be a very popular option i thought it might be safe. i hope it is Cheesy

507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN HALVING IS COMING!!! on: February 28, 2016, 11:05:42 PM
I'm a little confused. Can someone explain to me what happens after the Bitcoin halving? Will the price increase/decrease dramatically? I heard it would be harder to mine Bitcoins.

Look at the post above that I just posted before you.

Basically for every block miners are getting 25 bitcoins per block.  Then after the "halving" comes, it will become 12.5 bitcoins per block... and so on every 4 years around the same exact time.  So people are speculating that because miners have only half of what they would normally make to sell off, they are going to be demanding a higher price because there are fewer of them around than what would "normally" be on the market.

Make sense?

Good description i have to say!

509  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I'm newbie, what bitcoin buy/sell is best to use? on: February 28, 2016, 10:58:48 PM
I myself personally use Coinbase. I have no issues with purchasing bitcoins after making a deposit. The one thing I don't like is I have to wait a few days if a make a deposit. Other than the three to four days of waiting time for my deposit to clear, I have no complaints. I also like Bitstamp to purchase bitcoins. Either Coinbase and Bitstamp are my favorite.

dont you have to option to deposit with a creditcard on coinbase? i use that sometimes have my bitcoins in seconds Smiley
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: February 28, 2016, 10:55:32 PM
the part about bitcoin seems true enough , but dont know if litecoin will still be relevant or some other coin would have take its place or if its just bitcoin standing strong in the end.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 28, 2016, 07:37:23 PM
for me buying 1 btc for now is a good investment
my prediction for this few years is bitcoin price is going to raise.

so if you have money buy now and invest it, hopefully in few years you will see your investing result.

Well although i like your advice and agree with it for the most part i can suggest newcomers to be patience.
There is still a chance the price will drop to 350 dollars. So for short therm is can be bad, but long term it will be good.

350$ seems might happen but dont think it will go that low ever again not so close to the halvening.
512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I'm newbie, what bitcoin buy/sell is best to use? on: February 28, 2016, 07:19:57 PM
i use both coinbase and kraken , and like both very much . both are easy to use. but i like my coinbase more but its only for bitcoins , kraken has alot of currencies but is a bit mroe complicated.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 28, 2016, 04:59:21 PM
giving up an addiction depends on the level of the addiction. for some people they can just stop it if it is in its early stages and not so serious , for others doing some activity like going out and doing a hobby will help and for the serious problems they should seek professional help or some sort of counseling

but gambling is not just any adiction i read a article about gambling, they had done some research on the brain with people with gambling addiction compare to drug addicts, to make a long story short getting ride of a gambling problem was x5 times harder then quiting heroin lol. so gambling addiction is very serious. gambling can change your life if ur lucky compare to drugs that just ruin it. if ur lucky with gambling you can win big , and thats what i think make it even harder to quit.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: any bitcoin wallet that pay interest for keeping money? on: February 28, 2016, 04:43:35 PM
its another thread on this forum with a company that might be what your looking for haobtc, they have a intrest wallet , and they are a big btc mining company. the thread is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085039.0

downside is that you need 10 btc to take part in their 12 % yearly intrest , but u can use the wallet they have and it gets you 3%.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: February 28, 2016, 12:59:57 PM
yes i think you can be a winner in gamble long term , but you have to handle the swings every type of gambling has a huge luck factor even poker in a seasion you can lose but in the long term you make money , so you just have to handle the swings and thats where i think most people start to lose money instead of gaining , when they get unlucky 10 times in a row they go apeshit crazy Cheesy
516  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: IM DONE! on: February 28, 2016, 12:57:27 PM
to be honest i cant even believe this section on the forum exists , would be nice to see the win/loss ratio of all "investment" sites , has tobe a huge loss for people here. people that would never get into this in the first place if it was not for a forum section where scammers can promote their stuff.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: February 28, 2016, 12:51:27 PM

519  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Two things that may be unstoppable: Donald Trump and Bitcoin. on: February 26, 2016, 09:05:11 PM
Hah! I've been watching his odds get better and better on William Hill. If through some twist of fate Bernie ends up winning, I'm gonna have a nice payout though! Cheesy

sanders going to win this no doubt about it.
520  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: scam site? on: February 26, 2016, 12:32:36 AM
all doubler is a fuckin scam!!full stop!why youall so stupid to understand this huh?HuhHuhHuh Roll Eyes
i agree with him, all doubles are scam. you have only one chance to get profit: if site is new open you can invest small amount in first days and you may get doubled amount, but dont continue investing on the same site

could not agree more. doublers are always scams never seen one last for long. and this one wont either.
