bastards

Vice names the source by the way.

This is messed up really good.

also this :
About Kipochi: The founders of Kipochi are veterans in providing billing platforms worldwide.

Kipochi is privately owned and has offices in amongst other places Kenya and Nicaragua.

I know where you're going. It's nothing more than a upcoming Bitcoin/M-PESA exchange and has yet to prove it's acceptance and adoption. After reading some posts from the guy who runs Kipochi, I'm a bit more positive though. Seems he has some contacts and he is going to run mobile phone support in Kenya and wants to expand to Tanzania and others next. But well, yeah.. let's see. The news is kinda overrated now, but has potential.

Edit:

This is the guy:

hmm do you have a link? if thats true then this kipochi company might be fraudulent as well...

I haven't seen that many bubbles but I don't recall ever seeing one where the bottom was immediately followed by a massive unstoppable bull run?

Am I crazy? Too cautious?

Give it a few hours.

People are seeming to think that we have already cleared our way out of the bear market - this is not the case.

We wont clear it until we get to at least 120... still quite some work to do before we can start dancing in the street.

Dear lebing,

you should get in touch with local attorny offices with business experience. Its not that easy. You cant just launch your own atm somewhere.  You need licenses and a fairly business form (like a GmbH) for that kind of business.

You should calculate with at least 200-300k Euro investment costs before you can launch the atm.

Well, I imagined there might be some additional paperwork, but dear god 200-300k? Where does all of that go? Why is the gmbh necessary? Does that simply cover you in the event of a legal issue or is there some other rationale?
506  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcoin ATM... wo? on: July 09, 2013, 07:26:22 AM
Again apologies for the english in the german subforum, but my german is still terrible.

I'm living in germany now and thinking of getting a few bitcoin ATM's.

Couple of questions:

Does anyone know about the laws here in germany (or even austria/ switzerland) for this yet?
I'm thinking of putting them into bars, but does anyone have some specific location recommendations in their city/ area where they would like to see an ATM?
Is anyone else planning on doing the same thing?

Vielen dank leuter

I don't have any specific recommendations or tips to you regarding regulation / law, but just want to let you know that I would really love to have an ATM near me (which would be Graz in Austria, and is unfortunately probably not the first location someone will consider for an ATM in the German-speaking region).

For Austria, you may want to contact Bitcoin Austria (http://bitcoin-austria.at/wiki/Hauptseite) which is an association founded in order to promote Bitcoins in Austria.  Maybe they have contacts about how the legal situation is.

Great, thanks for the suggestion to contact bitcoin austria. I will definitely do that.

Are there any places in particular in Graz that you think would be a good fit for an ATM? ie maybe a place that accepts bitcoins/ has meetups, or maybe is just in an alternative area of the city where people are more open to this type of thing etc...

This bear market isn't over. We'll be returning to the 50s or lower within the next few weeks at most.

this.
WTF, you're bearish? Shocked

short/ medium term, yep.

Honestly though, the most imminent big trade is not in Bitcoin IMO, it's short the S&P. I think the top is in as of the ATH @ 1687.18. This next year or two should be a wild ride once we start to finish these stupid 1-2s and get some real downside momentum going Smiley

+1

1-2s ?

I can feel a Winkledump coming. Cheesy

BTW, how many coins do they have?
Over 100k, though in their SEC filing they propose to sell 200k BTC.

Very telling that no bounce is achieved even at current levels. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but bear with me: This thing needs to capitulate on incredible volume and a low <50 before we bottom out for good.

I'll have to bear with you, even if Ibought a little at $68ish to play lucifs game. He missed it in the past, but recently (2013) he have nailed it consistently, plus trading apart I find myself agreeing with him pretty much always when he comments about Bitcoin in general. He deserved it, but I think volume its been low and support weak, thus we are going to the $50s, sooner than in one  month.

Yeah, no. He was bearing it up all the way through the 20x increase, consistently and hilariously wrong until it started going into insano mode and then he switched to bull for a small amount of time. Thats a fail for 4 of 6 months this year.

My hand is known for drawing lines that matter in trading.

At this point almost everyone thinks bitcoin is going down. For that reason alone, I wouldnt be surprised if it simply doesn't and flatlines for months/ years until the next hype cycle.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: June 28, 2013, 12:14:28 PM

I would be all over some $-20 bitcoins

Looks like bitpay is already using their own metric similar to this - I wonder why they dont make it public (or if they do I havent heard of it)?
http://rt.com/op-edge/bitcoin-currency-max-keiser-138/

google "bitcoin rates"

first link: https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates

Looks like that has been updated actually just a few days ago: http://blog.bitpay.com/2013/06/important-update-on-bitpay-exchange.html?oid=1039_1

Though I have no idea what that actually means, im just happy people are moving away from mtgox. That's what this thread was about and if its already happening, then great.
