502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello BTC world! on: January 02, 2013, 01:09:24 AM
I suggest making a Wallet with both Blockchain.info and An armory wallet (Blockchain.info because Armory will take quite a while to sync with all active blocks)
But once you start collecting Bitcoins I suggest moving all t the Armory (Download not online) And putting the wallet offline as to prevent any "misuse" of the wallet.

Also if you would like to get started buying bitcoins we sell them for Greendot Moneypaks Amazon Gift Cards and Walmart Gift cards.

Glad to have you in the Bitcoin world,
The BTC 4 Amazon Team

506  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SELLING 25 BTC PAYPAL ACCEPTED (50 cents under spot) on: December 31, 2012, 08:53:33 PM
I'd be willing to do the trade if you send first or we use an escrow.

Smart guy.  My guess is he won't be willing to do escrow and will just "need" you to send first as a gift.  Lots of excuses and, maybe he agrees to have only do half first ($170 scam is better than nothing).

I wouldn't have said anything but it annoyed me that to perpetuate the "need" for his scam he made a false claim about FC4B.  We are currently are out of PayPal but the turnaround isn't 24 hours.

D&t was right. Won't accept escrow and won't send first good way to lose some money. Don't suggest trading with this user.
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain safe? on: December 31, 2012, 06:50:13 PM
Thanks this cleared a lot of things up for me, I will be making a wallet just got to make sure im more careful with my downloads.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you "will be making a wallet".  If you mean you will be making a local wallet using a client such as Electrum, MultiBit, Bitcoin-QT, or Armory, then you should be aware that those wallets also each have their own issues regarding how "safe" they are.

Send it to Armory and take armory offline...About as safe as you can get.

Your prices seem good, but the website really is questionable.

In the "Contact Information" sidebar, it just says "Text"

518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there risk to give your bitcoin address? on: December 30, 2012, 03:06:21 PM
When using Armory you can delete addresses within the same account so they can not be linked together.

Nope, They can't do anything without the rest of your information. So your safe. Even more safe if you use an offline wallet like ARMORY.

Hope this helps
