The dev Moonmoon was last seen on page 214.
Gone AWOL since then.

so what is the 'value' of the coin and project ... and i dont mean price ...

i mean community involvement and effort for redevelopment or takeover ( or swap for that matter ) ...

502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EGC] EverGreenCoin | Environmental Green Causes | Full 7% PoS | Foundation on: July 04, 2016, 07:14:26 AM
The transition from hybrid PoW/PoS to PoS is not likely itself to result in a massive price increase, because due to PoW no longer mining, there isn't a need so much to offload the cost of mining by selling off EGC.

For price to increase, it could be as simple as on Bittrex more than 1.5 - 2.5 BTC gets traded on Bittrex in a single day exposing the coin to daily traders.

Similarly, being seen as one of the top 25 to 50 Cryptocurries on Coinmarketcap could put EGC on the map! Wink

Or it could be a new update on the wallet, the website, more social media posts, or merchant partnership that kicks it off.

As long as the coin is seen to be 'Active' and 'stable', it's price will gradually increase.

Port Wink

we have worked hard on making it stable - and steven has done his damnedest to keep it active ...

as a dev and as a person - he has to be one of the koolest ones ...

the result will more than likely be long term ... so 'real' holders and supporters of the project will benefit greatly from the project ...

a lot more needs to be done - but it will all get there in the end ...

Hello Community,

Just stopping by to let you know that we had to upgrade the VPS that ToshiDesk and CryptosCloset.com runs off of.

We now have a VPS2 XEN packing 2GB + 2GB 24-7 burst....

It can handle any and all traffic.

This is also a small note to you that ToshiDesk is by no means taking a back seat.

Some fud lately has been that ToshiDesk will take a back seat while CryptosCloset takes more of my development time.

That fud is just that....fud, and if you sell your MTR at under 1000 sats, well then that is your decision..but I can't tell you that its the best long term one.

Just saying that CryptosCloset is another venture that will help ToshiDesk get awareness, and I hope some people can see the big picture here.

I have been in this space too long to put all my eggs in one basket.

I'm entrepreneur with nothing but the best intentions to build the brand were creating.

You can read the original white paper and see that I had plans to grow the brand by introducing other ventures into the mix to help the long term success of everything as a whole.

All new investors looking at this space...please look through my past post history and see that I'm one of the most straight forward devs in the community, and nothing can get in the way of my passions.

Please check out www.CryptosCloset.com

Please check out www.ToshiDesk.com

MasterTraderCoin, ToshiDesk, and now CryptosCloset will make it.

These ventures will go to the grave with me.

Cheers,

MasterTrader777

they shoudlnt go to the grave with you ...

they should be able to run long after your gone ...

thats the success of a great business ... Wink ...

determination is something you dont lack - and with infrastructure - im still here mate ...

in fact - the ecosystem that my team and i have been working on - is going to be released soon ... it will be even more stable and will be able to get a lot more moving ... which means support for the coins and the projects will become much more efficient - thus much more productive ... we are working day and night to get it done - and in the coming months - will set in concrete the pieces that get finished ...

we are starting a new umbrella name and business - and will be releasing that in the coming weeks ...

this will mean that the knowledgebase that we have as part of the site will include the projects we support - this includes mastertradercoin ...

so it will great to work with you in the future as well ...

btw - you really dont need to show all the personal / business details of purchases either mate ... if the longevity and stability is not going to sway anyone in joining the community and / or the projects - then so be it ... i will never show any of the purchases made via our enterprise - until it becomes a public entity - where the bosses ARE the community and public ... i KNOW how much you have put into this - and though i dont always agree on everything - i stick to the things that i have promised to keep - until our deal is redone or renegotiated ... tho most of our 'deals' are voluntarily done - its a always a pleasure ...

just keep moving forward ...

take it easy rich ...

Are you all sure that you have newest wallet? 'cos there was 2 updates. One without webkit, one with webkit without nodes, and last one with nodes and everything.

of course mate ...

and i dont use the qt wallet - i just compile it for fun and the very occasional use ...

my main use is the daemon - and that is running in my workstation all the time as a service ... even while i type this ...

always compiled from git / master ...

is all good tho - sometimes these things happen ... and they are an easy fix ...

my workstation is a linux system - fedora 23 x64 - so its very used to me running these sorts of things on here Wink ...

i dont use windows ...

I wish I was as geeky as you guys, I got wallets dangling on my desktop and have t keep opening and closing them as they slow it all down. I think this project can be success if we get enough buyers. As soon as I can afford I will give the gold a go for sure, just got to get some nasty bills paid and out of the way first. Smiley.

it doesnt take a geek or to be geeky ...

just a little patience and a little knowledge and perseverance - and some help along the way ...

you need to WANT to learn how - not just do ...

which is the one thing i CAN say - that help here is not far ...

which is why i back the 'goldrush' - and have setup a stable pool for those who want it ... the official pool of goldblocks - with one of the lowest fees for mining - 0.7% ... gold in a number itself ...

ill be buying gb when i get the chance ... and mine it after next week when thefarm is running ...

if things go the way it has been - it should be real nice for those invested in it ...

its not about the short term ... its about the long term investment ...

and nothing much better than gold or precious metals and gemstones ... or even a coin that keeps increasing in value Wink ...

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DRZ-V3] [DROIDZ-V3] [ANTI-INSTAMINE] - A FRESH NEW START - WALLET 3.0.1 on: July 03, 2016, 12:54:06 PM
hi guys, been not in touch, whats the amount needed to run a masternode
Fast response from the dev team is needed, especially for newcomers..
This way i appeal to team that they must look at this topic daily or this coin going to oblivion..
This guy now probably considering other alternatives. Help Him - Help US

i WAS helping mate ...

but i guess that when everyones 'saviour of the coin' comes in and makes an appearance - then the REST of the team is forgotten about ...

who on earth do you think setup and paid for and designed and created the entire backend infrastructure ( which is STILL supporting this network ) for droidz? ... who do you think was the main PUSH behind soopy? ...

id like to see ANYONE in the 'team' depose that ...

im also one of the major holders of droidz ...

im not looking for accolades here - as i would like to see things happen here also .. BUT - i will only go so far for the sake of getting thrown to the side ...

droidz is STILL alive because the whole infrastructure hasnt fallen over ... you know who has the major part in that infrastructure? ...

no - ill watch from the sidelines ive been pushed to ... and any / all of the garbage about caring and not caring for the coin or the community can all go there also ... as i can read how much the community 'cared' about how much ive put into this also ...

soopy is one hell of a developer ... but i can assure you this is not his priority ...

after all - he still carries the NAV logo on his profile ... which is strange if he actually supposedly belongs to another team ... but that again is another story ... and soopy and i have our own stuff to deal with also ... so if droidz and the community of droiderz want to back anyone here to get anything done with a major push - then you all need to rethink about how thankless this all has become for 'the team' ... especially me ...

so i started building something MUCH bigger - as droidz took a whole three months out of my own developments ...

i hope soopy does come up with something massive - as it would make it worth the effort that we previously put into it ...

previously though - a tanx would have sufficed ... now ill just sit on the coins and wait and see ... see whether this savior makes a massive upheaval of droidz ... i hope he does ...

but i say this because i KNOW that it takes more than a dev to make a coin work ... much more ...

In all seriousness, we can take the rug from under the DASH dream with a Bitcoin paid node model. Let's not let that slip away.

Amen. Gonna short DASH when SNs arrive  Tongue

JK, would rather just go all in on SPR at that point.

BTW I received my desktop computer, but unfortunately don't have access to everything bc the guy who gave it to me lost the Admin password for windows. Is there a way to reboot the computer from an Ubuntu build or something (I'd rather not pay for another Windows key) and then set up the SPR miner?

yes to both ...

most linux distros have live noot from cd / dvd . usb or the like ... but easier to just buy a small sdd ( like a 120gb kingston v300 - very cheap now ) and just install a fresh copy of linux ...

#crysx

Oh, cool that's a pretty simple solution. I'll get the one you recommended - it looks like it's only 40 dollars or so!

yup ...

and its quite fast ...

as long as you dont flood the drive with rubbish - there is more than enough room for the os and all the software you need to compile and run ...

i use fedora 23 x64 - but thats because im a redhat guy ...

you can make it dual boot if you really want to keep it later on ...

Nobody is asking for everything... They just want a fair price. It's really stupid to pay $1000 for less than $500 of gold..

So you are saying that GB shares that goes with package worth zero ? Ok, i say that every GB worth $1. So by my calculations for $1000 you will get 10gr 24K Gold with purity 999.9 and $12.000 .

why win wallet error for sync?

i just tried to resync the wallet from scratch, and with hardcoded nodes and so many peers, it was synced in no time.
So there is no problem with wallet sync, at all, tried on several pc's, syncing instantly. Maybe your firewall is blocking something...

my local wallet did the same thing darkgold ...

i had to add a number of nodes to the conf file to get it to sync ... and i am in a secure - multiwallet environment ...

so i am pretty sure i know what im doing Wink ...

but maybe its a time issue ... as it searches for the nodes ...

i know one of our other coins does this - ozziecoin ... there are times it will sit there for a few minutes - looking like it is doing nothing - but its actually searching ...

o well ... a firewall issue is always a possibility also - as you mentioned ...

what is staking must running online wallet? Please help me

the wallet must be open - AND - unlocked for staking to happen ...

mature coins need to be in the wallet - for any staking to occur also ...

#crysx
now i see thanks for this info bro, i have just the same question but with this answer
let me try and use this so i can check if my small coins will stake. good luck

you are welcome ...

a small amount of coins will not have a heavy network weight - so staking will take a while and the payout will be small ...

but that means its all working well ...

obviously - the more coins you have - and the older they are in the wallet - the more you get to stake ...

it works of the transactions of the coins you have in there - and so a larger deposit into the wallet - means a larger weight - which inturn means a bigger return for staking ...

why win wallet error for sync?

even with the hardcoded ip - the syncing is an issue ...

ill speak to the darkgold and see whether our infrastructure should take on more permanent nodes - and whether they would be hardcoded also ...

with all our current projects - and the coins we support in our infrastructure - there is no need to add anything else into the coins .conf file - and they sync fast and smooth ...

i can make the necessary arrangements - but will be away for a week at least - for thefarm rebuild ... so wont be able to do this until week after next ...

lets see what darkgold has to say first ...

Halving is nearly here.

Time to start shining.

Meh, I predict that the halving will be an absolute no-event. Like a fart in the wind.

I wonder though what your opinion on brexit is? How do you see it.

Insanity.

Free movement of trade can't be beaten.

Brexit was about immigration. Those that voted out were the working classes who lost their bargaining chip of refusing to work if they didn't get the high pay they wanted because someone better would do the work for minimum wage.

People were fed up because of foreigners taking their jobs. Shame the employers see their jobs as open to the best candidate.

Brexit was a vote against locals inability to be good enough to compete.  It's like the premier league football game. All the best players are immigrants. That's why England got knocked out of the European cup.

The UK economy is built around financial services. The working classes can't see they killed their golden egg laying goose. But they already had nothing to lose. Now everyone is in their boat.

That's why the vote was insanity.

Now we don't have a government or opposition party. The Brexit camp have started fighting with each other and the country is in crisis.

That's the other reason this was insanity.

People can make great speeches that motivate the easily led, but if there is no substance, it's a house of cards.

PM Cameron was a complete idiot to put this to a referendum in the 1st place.
big mis-judgement . Interesting to see that now a lot of ignorant voters who voted to leave, after seeing

hehehe ...

nup - they are all suits ... pretending to be the 'everyday sorta guy that actually works and gives a damn' type of politician here - male or female ...

the only way of 'sticking it to the man' is NOT vote - as they are ALL affiliated one way or another ... the lesser parties 'back' ( ie - give their votes to ) the major parties ...

not vote? ... i mean - get fined EVERY time you dont vote because its a 'not an option - but a mandate ... ie - law!' situation ...

can you tell i absolutely adore politics AND the people we have in power here? ...

im not only watching this coin ...

but ive also setup a node and a mining pool for startcoin ... as one of the pools for our new poolset - which will be released soon ...

the pool ( and pool set ) is denoted as 'alpha' mode - and that will change to beta when the entire pool set is released as part of the mpos section of our pool area ...

when thorough testing is undertaken - it will come out as 'production' mode - which means it will be fully functional as a pool and node and is part of our system ...

currently mining with a small amount - for the low difficulty stratum - and will be adding a high difficulty stratum when that testing phase is complete ...

great project - and would really like to be part of it ... this is a small and first step ...

thefarm ( our gpu mining arena ) is the next step - and as large as it is currently - will grow to be available soon within the ecosystem we are developing for use within the network and make use of these pools ...

funding for the growth of that area would be helpful ...

if anyone is interested in testing the pool for stability ( or any others as part of the pool set ) - please let me via here or pm me ... the pool is already tested for functionality and has passed with flying colours ...

now we just want to throw as much hash at it - for stability testing ...

@halo and @raven ( in no particular order except alphabetical ) ...

there is no 'pissed' situation here ...

but you are correct in saying that soopy and i have had some issues we needed to sort ...

they are still prevalent ...

there are so many things that are required for the redevelopment of ANY coin - let alone one that requires a FULL redo ... yes - i said FULL ...

whatever happens here - it will be for the betterment of the coin - and ourselves ...

i dont slam - especially for no reason ... i state facts and i mentioned the ease of publishing pms - because i 'normally' dont publish them ... thats why they are called private ...

ive said what ive said - and thats as far as it goes ... thats the way i work ...

start anew? ... sure ... ill watch from the sidelines and work on the infrastructure and ecosystem that we are building while i do that ...

currently - there is no incentive here for my team and i - and that was what the negotiation was all about ... thats the reason why a lot of devs will not come in - unless they have something to benefit - even if its just a 'tanx dev' for the accolades and reputation - which some developers are happy to do like soopy ... a very talented dev - a good guy - but benefits very little from the community that he supports ... which is why he spreads himself thin over so many projects ...

again - im NOT having a go - or getting 'pissed' at - or anything of the sort ... im stating facts and voicing them ... thats the way i work Smiley ...

my team and i are building an ecosystem FOR supporting the projects that we support - and that requires time and effort and most of all - DEDICATION ... this means - complete focus on the projects at hand - rather than spreading the focus elsewhere ... what this also means is that IF there is help that can be given - fine ... IF there is a project that can be collaborated with - fine ... IF there is a project that can be taken over - fine ... it does NOT mean disappearing for months on end after committing yourself to a time frame and plan of work ...

so if a commitment is forthcoming - you be damned sure we stick to it - and thats one of the reasons i trust very few here in crypto - their COMMITMENT and RELIABILITY ...

and so the result? ... i sound like im having a go - or getting pissed - or being an aggressive - due to these and many other factors ... i may be some or all of those things at one time or another - but im not a commitment jumper - and will certainly not break my word when given ...

if this project is to succeed - it needs structure and plan and more than anything - a LEAD ...

id like to see what happens here in the very near future - and if im involved - it will not be in a small way ... otherwise - i dont get involved at all ...

btw ... i must admit - the ONE thing i am actually really pissed about - is the inaccessibility of my previous account 'chrysophylax' ... so many mails - so many contacts - and so close to legendary ... :| ...

It doesn't look like either of those services updates very often. Maybe once a week? You'll notice that all of the coins listed there are frozen. Only the wallet which updates from the blockchain will show the total number mined in real time. As of this moment I see 5,593,940.00 coins minted.

What I want to know is if anyone has successfully compiled the wallet on Ubuntu 16.04? I had trouble with 15.10. Went to the winblows .exe version in Wine for the interim. It chokes when I try to load a fragmented wallet with lots of transactions. I'm afraid to upgrade my Ubuntu 14.04 machine that DOES have a good working wallet on it for fear I might break it. Undecided

Edit: And in the end, trying to compile using the autobuild.sh file I get
Code:
/usr/include/boost/variant/get.hpp:178:5: error: invalid application of ‘sizeof’ to incomplete type ‘boost::STATIC_ASSERTION_FAILURE<false>’
     BOOST_STATIC_ASSERT_MSG(
     ^
Makefile:2355: recipe for target 'build/rpcrawtransaction.o' failed
make: *** [build/rpcrawtransaction.o] Error 1
~$
And if I try to run the bitquark-qt file from a previous install created under Ubuntu 14.04...
Code:
./bitquark-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libminiupnpc.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
~/BTQ-r20$

That's because libminiupnpc is now up to version 10.
{sigh}

do you require the build with upnpc? ...

if not - build without it ...

as for the boost error ... im looking at the code now ...

#crysx
The UPNPC error comes by running a version compiled previously on 14.04 on a machine running 16.04. Can't recompile without it now unless I build a 14.04 virtual machine. Not in a real hurry to do that.

recompile without the upnp with - USE_PNP= or USE_UPNP=- when compiling and it will disable the upnp module ...

i use redhat based systems ( fedora 23 x64 and centos 7 x64 ) so almost all the scripts and compile commands are useless in the git - for rhel based users like me ... which is my real issue with this industry - assuming that 'linux' means debian based distros ( namely debian and ubuntu ) and not rhel based distros ... majority use of a distro in crypto - does NOT make it the description for 'linux' ...

but that is my gripe - and thats about it Smiley ...

if there are ANY python devs out there than can help rewrite / work with the stratum code for the pool - i would be very appreciative ... a deal can be done for paid work also ...

Also now you know guys that before you hit SEND button, 3 times check if all is correct.

i have very little gb in the wallet as is - the pool fees as well as the donations that some of the miners are giving - are barely hitting 100gb currently ... but i am more than happy to send them to her if you think this would help ...

i have not much personal gb of my own - as thefarm is not running yet - and my mining is currently miniscule on the pool ... but again - the small amount of gb i have personally i am happy to send to to her also if you think this will help ...

let me know ...

I've also tried compiling the client on Ubuntu 16.04 and get a similar error message.  Hopefully we can figure this out, but it works fine on versions less than 16.04.

Also I've been updating the BTQ Auction site and I think I have all the bugs worked out now. So if you want to check it out, just got to http://www.bitquark.info or http://auction.bitquark.info

Thanks,
BTQ Dev

in rpcrawtransaction.cpp

- const CScriptID& hash = boost::get<const CScriptID&>(address);
+ const CScriptID& hash = boost::get<CScriptID>(address);

hahaha ...

i just did a pull request with that SAME fix - only a few seconds before you posted ...

nice one Wink ...
