501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Investors Confidence in Bitcoin💪 on: January 06, 2024, 08:51:06 PM
then don't count them to be a investors , if you are prioritizing expenses in daily use or you have no funds to let it sit in crypto then that is different angle to what he is promoting and believing .
like us or me , I invest part of my monthly wages meaning i can carry to lose them and need not to be worry of the next coming days .
We really need to differentiate between investors and daily traders who are overall not ready to bear losses through their own investments. Because most people who are ready enough to become investors will not be affected by the slight losses they experience through price corrections in the market. Meanwhile, traders will always panic when they see price corrections because they are only chasing daily profits which is their own target at all times.

There are difference, those daily traders are speculators to me, they just go day to day wanting to see volatility and then they take advantage of it and make money. As for investors like the majority of us, same with traders, when the price goes down, we buy more but we don't sell short term. We waited for the right time and be a long term HODLer and then we try tor time the market before we sell.

But in any case, confidence is very high, regardless if the Spot ETF is going to be deny again this January or approved. We still have that most important activity that we waited every 4 years and that is the bitcoin halving. Last time we had, we are in a lockdown, but now it seems that it's over and we are back to normal.
Come in mind that we dont have those ETF's and other regulatory stuffs in the past but still we do able to hover out ourselves on going into those peak prices without those things on which means that
neither they do have that approval or not, the market cant really be just that depending on it. We would really be moving according into the confidence and trust of the community or simply on talking about the demand.Confidence is there and it is really that evident if we are really just that simply seeing on how far we do able to reach out on which this one really indicates that Bitcoin or this crypto space
is really that having that huge demand and recognition on which this is really something that we are really that seeing into this field on which it would really be just that normal to have.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: January 06, 2024, 08:38:51 PM
alter ego is actually a good thing if you can control it wisely and i usually use my alter ego when i'm working so that i look like a professional.  but if i look at your friend's story, i don't see that your friend uses an alter ego when playing, he just turns into a gambling addict, he is not able to control it, someone who is very careless in gambling will only find himself bankrupt every time he gambles.  Gambling often makes us change 180% of our personality before we start gambling, so we are always alert when gambling and careful in every decision we make.
Some people do really mind on how they do look on other peoples eyes and this is why they would really be doing as much as they could on looking cool or having that compusure but on the time that they would really be that dealing with gambling then those things would really be entirely be changed on which i could say that it would be normal. Just like on what most people been saying on here that we are just humans
and we do hate up on losing money on which means that those reactions were pretty common.

It did really just turn out that you arent that get used to into those kind of images that you've known on a certain person on whom you do though that
you are really that seeing them to be that too having that thrift personality.
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 06, 2024, 08:30:48 PM
Before you go into trading to start with you should have attained the age 18, trading ot Self it risky , because you might be at loss and at the same time make profit, it's advisable to always trade with your own money, money you are willing to loose, not your life savings though in some cases you might trade your life savings and make profits, but generally it's not advisable to trade with your savings, all traders should be able to bear risk and shouldn't let' greed have a place in them when trading, the market is unpredictable with all our analysis.
Im not really that sure that 18 is really that needed for you to consider on touching up yourself with trading on which you could really that eventually be able to make yourself having involvement
as early as you could or on the time that you are already aware of it on which it would really be just that a normal approach that you would really be having those considerations on the time
that you do encounter of it. On the time that you do make out those self learning then it would be your choice whether you would pursue it out on learning more or you cant just be able to bare up with the risks.
It would really be that your choice though. Trading involvement wont really be having  that specific age or what, as long you do able to hover yourself on such risky field and sustain
then this is what usually counts.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 05, 2024, 09:41:32 PM
if I always lose in the game, I will change the type of game, example If I always lose on a slot, I will change the type of game like sports betting until my capital is back and try the luck again to the slot.

This is typical of the view of an addict who wants to recover his losses  Grin

Consistent in trying to win back loses is a good reason for continuous set back in gambling. It is anger of losing that makes a player to switch game but believe it there are lucky days and bad days, so if I feel unlucky on a day then I better back out from it and wait for another day that I will be lucky instead of chasing back loses.
Main reason on why people do really keeps on coming back even or despite of its losses on which chasing up on taking back those losses and thinking about breakeven on which it is really just that good
that you would really be having that kind of urge or feeling that you would really be needing to cope up those losses and you would be having that kind of mindset that might in next roll or bet
you would really be able to win big and would really be able to win up big on which it would be causing that win that you are looking for until you would be planning on stopping.
If you are lucky then you might be able to hit it up, but if not then expect that you would really be doing the same thing all over again and again on which this is something
that very common to be done by someone.
505  Economy / Economics / Re: 4 COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MADE WITH THEIR FINANCES LAST YEAR THAT SHOULD BE AVOID on: January 05, 2024, 01:47:23 PM
3. OVERSPENDING

Not tracking or financial management is something that you had neglected if you do commit out this kind of mistake on which it would really be just that normal that you would really
ending up on messing  your finances on the time that you would really be derailing yourself when it comes to financial matter.
This is why it would be that better that you should really know on how to handle your finances well because if not then it would really be that a disaster.
People do commonly made out their realizations on the time that they would be experiencing hardship and not into that earlier time.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on favorites early in the week & underdogs late in the week strategy... on: January 04, 2024, 09:38:27 PM
I am by no means a professional gambler, and therefore I've certainly got plenty to learn (one of the reasons I like being active in this part of the forum).  I was recently listening to a gambling talk radio podcast and they were saying one basic thumb to live by when sports betting is to bet favorites in the early part of the week and under-dogs in the later part of the week as the spread tends to favor this strategy.

So I'm just curious if the sports betters in here take this "rule of thumb" strategy seriously and tend to follow it.  Or if there's any experience that says this may not be all that great of a strategy.  Thoughts?
Never ever on my betting career or experience on which i did make out such move or strategy on which i do make out some bets basing up in the day of each week on which there's no significant influence if we do speak about probabilities on which it would really be just that on his own ways or methods. If this strategy would be working on him then its good, but we know that not all people would be sharing up with the same luck
on every moment and we dont share up on the same bets , unless if he would be sharing up his then people could follow but i do highly still doubt on that.
Do the things or strategies on which you do know that you could be having the advantage because not every strategy would work for you would work into others.
So bare that in mind always.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: January 04, 2024, 08:34:28 PM
That's right, it is very difficult to provide education or understanding to the public about the real dangers of gambling, because they only see luck, namely winning, so they will be interested in doing it. If people also see the negative side, namely defeat and the bad consequences of gambling, they will think carefully about entering the gambling environment. Moreover, if you are already addicted, your life will be full of problems and this must be really paid attention to for someone to enter the world of gambling.
Consciously, I'm sure they already know the dangers of losing money in gambling, it's just that usually they come full of confidence by making deposits because they see the streamer or influencer they watch win big wins and display wins without showing losses so the audience will definitely be impressed to try it but After they fail, in fact that's when they determine their next life.

If they continue the game and continue to pay for their gambling just to recover previous losses, it will not work and will only be in vain and can lead to a gambling addiction, but if they realize that their choice of gambling is not the right choice, they should stay away from it and not try to gamble again. especially when trying for the umpteenth time to experience defeat at gambling. that was a stupid way to choose
Very often people despite knowing that what they do implies a massive risk still decide to do it since they cannot possibly picture themselves falling victims of those risks, so they begin to gamble thinking that even if they know that casinos have to make money somehow, they believe that money will come from other gamblers and not from them, and while at the beginning a few of them could get away with it as they got lucky, the more they gamble the closer their results should align with the probabilities and they will begin to lose money.

One of the reasons why they still do it even though it has been proven that the final result always loses, it is because of the hope that they still apply to a victory. And another reason is that they always assume that "it looks like this time I will be one of the lucky ones out of 10 people playing" that's always what's on their mind so they keep trying, and when reality slaps them again with results that don't match expectations then they will think like that again to do the next session.

We must understand that in gambling the percentage of winning is much smaller than the risk of losing, the casino has arranged everything, and one of the reasons why people often say that gambling is a game of probability is because the casino's goal is to make profits from losing gamblers while on the other hand they set up all the systems in it so of course it is very natural that defeat dominates over victory which will only happen occasionally, I think most of the gamblers do not know this fact so they put their hopes and act excessively.
On the time that you would really be having that kind of mindset then pretty sure you would really be able to make yourself not to be able to stop gambling completely as long you do have those kind of intents in mind on which this would really be keeping pushing you to play further more because you are really that trying out to thrive on hitting that thing on which it would really be that understandable that there would really be those moments on which you would really be that having those feeling on quitting but on the time that you would be thinking about recovery then this is where those emotions would be starting on kicking in for you to play once again. It is really just that a matter of perception and discipline towards gambling activity on which on the time that you wont really be that sensible into your actions
then this is where mistakes do usually happen.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader on: January 04, 2024, 07:31:26 PM
...Knowing how to trade would only get you that far, but not j to the realm of successful traders. It takes a whole lot of desire to win, persistence and consistency to be a successful trader. So I assure that anyone who wants to be a successful trader can be by pursuing with passion...

This is all just theory, but in practice everything is completely different. And there are a very large number of traders who, after many years of unprofitable trading, decide to change their role to an investor. And for many, this is the right decision that allows you to earn a lot of money with minimal risk, which is still present when investing.

I also think that succeeding in Bitcoin trading goes beyond having a passion for it, although that is a starting point, because Bitcoin trading is hard in the practical aspect of it. So to be a successful trader requires having the needed experience to have a sound knowledge about how it's properly done, this includes understanding the fundermental and technical analysis, not being emotional, avoid being greedy and having the patience required to succeed. So any one can succeed in Bitcoin trading, but they need to put in the time and energy needed to aquire the knowledge to become successful traders.
Passion and interest is something that you would really be needing to have not only limited on trading but also in other things as well on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be
needing those things for you to go further because once interest and passion isnt there then you would really be just that basically putting up yourself into such situation on which you cant really be able to make yourself that last long because interest isnt really there. Speaking about success then we do know that there's no such thing about assurance on which if you do really that putting up yourself on such situation
on which you are hurrying up yourself on being successful then this is where mistakes do comes from on the time that you would really be that making yourself that desperate and this is something that you should really be looking upon.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: January 04, 2024, 12:55:54 PM
In my own opinion, I'll say having mentally unstable people gambling in your casino would only reduce the reputation of the casino. There are places were those kind of persons should play, but gambling is a no go area, except he was just on a disguise. I can't even imagine walking into a casino with a mentally unstable person. That story only tells that the attendant is heartless, for him to allow such person enter and make a bet, is only shows that that attendant is capable of promoting irresponsible gambling.
Realistically speaking, I don't think there's any gambling company that'll want to allow a mentally unstable person use their offline platform to gamble because it'll definitely spoil the reputation of such gambling company as many will see it as inhumane for such kind of act. However, I don't think it'll be easy to regulate the mental state of individuals before they can gamble on a gambling sites and that's why I think that even when it's condemnable for mentally unstable people to gamble, there's every possiblity that they are still involved in gambling regardless of whatever anyone has to say about them.

When it comes to online gambling, the possibility of gambling engagements by persons who shouldn't even be allowed to engage in gambling are very high.
As long it would be crossing about humanitarian rights then for sure it would really be creating that kind of problem on which same as you said that it would really be tarnishing their reputation and this is something that they dont really want because we do know that if the masses or the people would really be making out such reaction then pretty sure it would really be bringing out that huge issue into the said platform or company on which it isnt really that good in anyway. This is why they would really be allowing those people to play and wont really be caring about their mental or whatsoever as long they arent that harming someone
then it should really be just that fine.

Sometimes people are really just that too judgmental on things specially into those people who do look odd but eventually they arent really doing something for them to be prohibited in doing something.
People do usually put up themselves into harm because of wrong assumptions.

512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: January 03, 2024, 09:41:51 PM
Losing is losing, no matter how much the amount you can afford to lose and how much you have actually gambled, there's no difference.
Because it's still the same that you're going to lose if you are thinking you're fun to lose it.
But I wouldn't just accept that I'll be losing it, I'll fight for it until the last bet that I can make, well, that's the kind of fun many of us like, don't we?

You're right, that's the fun of gambling even if we lose we still fight, we still hope to come back and get the money back. Even if you lose and that loss is budgeted, maybe it doesn't hurt you that's why it's budgeted because you're ready to lose but you still fight. Gambling is entertaining, just avoid getting addicted to it.
Gambling should really be for fun
Gambling shouldnt really be make as a source of income
Gambling shoudlnt be stressful
Gambling shouldnt really make you that desperate
Gambling shoudnt really mess up your finances.

As long you do have that kind of control then you wont really be finding yourself on such trouble in speaking about gambling risks. As long you are really just that playing for fun
then you wont really be finding up yourself on any potential trouble. Then this should really be a must thing on the time that you do touch
up gambling.
513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: January 03, 2024, 08:20:52 PM
If you don't have Warren Buffett kind of capital, then it's definitely a bad idea to "diversify" your "portfolio". What we plebs need to do is keep it simple and invest in two or three good cryptocurrencies with Bitcoin getting the largest portion of the investment for "stability". It's funny saying that because Bitcoin is also volatile.

Personally, I have everything HODLed in Bitcoin, and although I might have lesser returns than if I invested in shitcoins, I'm very confident that my money is in the safest, most sound investment in crypto.
I would guess that the main reason for this is that because other alts are not really that great, not because diversification is bad. I mean you are right, but not due to our finances, even a rich person should not be diversifying their portfolio with shit coins, and most of the coins are shitcoins, so it doesn't make sense investing into those stuff. It would make sense if you know what you are doing and invest into good things, but it is not going to be all that easy, so you should definitely be careful about it.

I personally do invest 50%+ of my money on just bitcoin, and I have been quite happy with it for the longest time, I do not think that I will change that. Only thing that would change it would not be how much money I have, I can have a million dollars, still would do what I am doing now, but if only alts get better. Then I would consider maybe potentially changing something, that would definitely have a greater impact on what we are doing.
Choices would be made wont really be that definitely be precisely to be right or something that would be good specially on dealing with altcoins. There's no way that we could really be able to hit up the right
things just because we've been choosing on having that diversification thing but we dont know on what would really happen into this market in the first place on which means that there would really be no assurances
whether we do really hit up the right spot or not. Diversification would really be always best and something that recommended and something that would be preferred but since not all would really be having that kind of risks management and finances then this is where people do really miss out on doing such thing. So its a matter of choice on which one you would really be taking into.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: January 03, 2024, 01:00:12 PM
Shorting your play time in gambling is the best strategy in gambling, apart from knowing how to manage your bankroll, don't spend too much time on a casino game, the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.

For them it's about your addiction, and that's what brings in more money, and I am here to announce to you that time fixation is also a good way in gambling, spending 20 minutes in casino a day is better than someone who spend 1 hour.

1. Have a amount limit you can risk on gambling every week.

2. Choose your favourite day in a week for gambling.

3. Have a time count down when gambling, to avoid spending too much time.

Go back home or close your laptop once your time is up, and wait for the coming day, go back to your daily life and business, chase your goals using your business and invest more money on assets.

Do you agree or disagree? Drop your reason why.

1. Not necessary because im not that much of a gambler whose really that trying out to gamble if im busy.
2. Not all the time since there are physical activities on which it could patch up.
3. The higher the duration or longer ones the risks is high on getting addicted.

Just make yourself that sensible on the things that  you are doing then you would really be just that fine. There are really those people who cant really be able to control themselves
and do really commit out those errors and mistakes. If you cant really be able to bare up the risks on gambling then it would really be just that fine that you
are really dealing with it.
515  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: January 03, 2024, 06:53:07 AM
As far as the KYC for betting sites is concerned, I myself feel uncomfortable with this, why gamblers have to do the kYC, while betting is still illegal in many countries. Unlike exchange sites that actually require user data because of regulations or to meet their legality requirements.

there are licenses that support and require casinos to enforce KYC for all their users. the same as those charged by the exchange. I understand this as an effort to minimize the abuse of casinos for negative actions. That also applies to exchanges, right?
It is indeed unpleasant when we can create an account easily and make deposits smoothly, but it is difficult and the process takes a long time when we want to make a withdrawal. because we don't own the casino, and we only play there, we have to follow the rules of the game.
I did notice up that kind of difference on which in exchangers on which if they had been regulated then they are really that mandatory on having that KYC which it is really that totally different when you are dealing with gambling platforms on which despite of being regulated or being licensed, you could really be still be able to play without exposing your identity but of course on the time that they would really be having those kind of threshold on which once you do be able to hit up such numbers then expect that they would really be asking you out for some verification. It would really be just that fine if you are dealing with a legit site but if not then then you would really be ended up on losing money since those are just simply scams.

This is why it would be always best that you should really know on at least making some research rather than on making yourself do simply stick into those sites
which are just new and cant be trusted.

520  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 31, 2023, 11:12:45 AM
A lot of them seem to be hastily assembled clone sites with very little effort put in and gimmicky marketing. Do you guys have any thoughts on this... plague?
The reason for most of those sites having similar look is the use of the same theme again and again. Someone who makes a new casino often uses pre-made themes for the casino and they just pay some amount to get those themes instead of making the theme on their own by hiring developers.

Most of the new casinos tend to invest some money on their marketing because they want to have as many players on their sites as possible and that they can get only with the help of proper marketing. The marketing allow them to gain some players and they basically make the money back when a few of those new players losses some bets.

Once they get enough money then they start changing the theme and continue making new and better features available for the players. All sites need initial players to get some funds and that's why they offer very high bonuses to attract players attention. The good ones share details in FAQS while the shady ones just trap the players but they somehow need some investment to grow and the new players seem to be the best investors for them.
That saves up time and resources and this is why they would come up into that kind of option on which just simply buying those pre-made templates or design and just simply make out some few tweaks.
For those people who do have that awareness about other sites would really be able to notice it directly if ever there would really be some similarities on which some people would skip out immediately.
We cant really be able to deny that there are people who do really hate up on dealing with those things which do copies into other known sites or platforms or simply those copy-cats.
This is why it would really be that just depending whether you would really be staying and playing on them or would really be that staying away and would stick into those sites that you are getting used to.

It do really sucks on seeing new platforms on copying other site design. There might be some tweaks or changes but it doesnt really make up any difference.
This is why it would really be just that ideal that you should really know on what you should gonna do on which it would be always getting in line with the things that you are interested into.
