503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin currently anonymous? on: August 31, 2017, 04:08:27 PM
bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous.

All transactions are included in the blockchain (decentral database), so it's possible for somebody to follow these transactions (inputs, outputs, change addresses,...), and using some data mining and some clever algorithms, it's possible to find most addresses belonging to your wallets.

Couple this information with the fact that most exchanges follow KYC regulations and require your identity verification AND the fact that if you buy a physical good, you'll have to provide a delivery address. The end result is that if you ever bought bitcoin with a verified account, or spent bitcoin using your real address, somebody with enough resources and time will probably be able to find you...

That being said, no ip's are recorded in the blockchain. A node can only (potentially) record the ip of which it receives a transaction (but it can never know it is the ip of the person creating the transaction). So, if you use a VPN (or tor) and never couple a physical address or a forum nickname to your addresses, it'll be pretty hard to track you down.

There are also other sollutions to enhance your privacy, but i'm not going to go into details this time Wink
You are right sir, That's why some of the bitcoin users here when they do transaction in withdrawal they bitmixer or chipmixer so that there transaction will not be traceable.

505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 03:25:14 PM
Some of them running BTC businesses and others using those businesses.  Not all people are just hoarding it, though many are.

Many are holding bitcoins and it's not new for everyone. And this is a popular activity by those people that are in bitcoin and the activity that you need to do is very easy. You just have to hold your bitcoins and wait for the price to increase, that's very simple = profit.
Indeed, holding bitcoin is the safest things ever that we can do while waiting for the right time to sell it. But of course for now, we need to be patience it can be next year could be the timing for us to sell it, I guess their projection by this year and next year will be accomplish so that for sure new millionaires again will be rise in this industry.
506  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: PH[ANN][PRE-ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 Pagkuha sa Crypto Bilang Pangunahing Pambayad on: August 31, 2017, 02:16:14 PM

How about pre-ICO results on this project, we can not see directly about the results obtained

Update from twitter UTRUST :

Our Pre-ICO sold out under 90 minuts! Thank you to everyone who participated! #ICO #payments #blockchain #fintech #UTRUST

Sept.

507  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Do you know some coin made in the Philippines? on: August 31, 2017, 01:28:18 PM
Do you know some coin made in the Philippines?
If you know some... You can share it here :-)

508  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Hanggang kailan tatagal ang BITCOIN? on: August 25, 2017, 01:15:47 PM
509  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Trading site on: August 25, 2017, 12:41:26 PM
Anong trading site ang gamit nyo?

Pros and cons compared to other trading sites

Thanks
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: August 24, 2017, 08:52:43 AM
We are talking here about Gambling and it is impossible not to lose money on this track, this thing is only compose of two situations, either you win or lose, and if you want to lose any money, then just simply not go to the gambling world, because if you get yourself in and get addicted on it, it would be hard for you to get out and quit because you are losing too much.
That's right! once you entered in the gambling world it is impossible for the gambler that He/She will not encounter or experience of feelings of winning and losing. But of course most of the time they will face lose in the end where most players end in zero balance to their bankroll.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: August 24, 2017, 08:38:09 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
The only thing smartest way in gambling which I know was if the player/gambler play He never encounter of losses but instead always win since He/she started in  gambling. But of course, all gamblers faced the feelings of losing the games, therefore there is no smartest way to play in gambling it all depend on luck and a bit analysis.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 24, 2017, 08:23:35 AM
Basically in gambling nothing is best because everything is high risk and high reward programmes. So if you want to be bit safer side, then you can find a couple of good sites to invest. If you refer this forum, then you will a couple of threads where many people already suggested good sites. But if you want to gamble then it is very risky either you can make some quick bucks if you're very lucky or if may lose your bitcoins in no time. OR you can just keep these coins and sell when price moves up.
Most of the time now there is no safe at all when you play in gambling, always end losses of money where every player never learn, just for them to play the games then it fine to themselves. So it is good to do investing into other coins than this one of course.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: August 24, 2017, 08:00:27 AM
I am sure they can never be $50k per 1 bitcoin. It is unbelievable.
Your not the only people who said that things here. Actually, there are many things happens about the impossible in bitcoin. Like I remembered some of the community in this field of industry don't believe that bitcoin will become 2000$, but look what happens and look what the price value do we have now it is almost 4200$, which means nowadays, everything are possible to be happens as long as the community are intedn it to be happen.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 24, 2017, 07:42:57 AM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.
Yeah, you are correct mate. even bitcoin now is popular now all around the world still are many had a doubt into bitcoin. They think it is scam, nevertheless, they still don't know the deepest edge of having bitcoin in our lives now. Because if they will only know the reason why many of the investors are impressed into bitcoin it is because of Decentralization, Security, and Can make you a Millionaires someday.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: BCC more profitable to mine on: August 24, 2017, 07:18:12 AM
It is currently 2% more profitable to mine on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.
https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

And I am hoping that there would be more miners who will shift their focus on BitCoinCash (BCH). BCH will have a place in the sea of so many alternative coins. In fact, its value is right now going up. I am sure there are many people who are happy to know of this latest development. I am not a miner though and I am not planning to be one since it can be expensive to invest in mining equipment.
Investing in mining equipment is really expensive and it should be place it in a cold area. However, I doubt that there would be more miners will their focus on bitcoin cash. Most miners supporters are majority on bitcoin, And I think they won't allow it to be happen. Though I am planning to buy mining equipment or mining rig someday but never on bitcoin cash ever.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2017, 04:55:22 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?
For me it is better to do keep investing and keep savings, do them together. Due to by investing it we can roll up our capital in a quick manner, then keepings was also a a very good thing because there is a big chances that bitcoin by next year could be 13,000$ or more by 2018.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 23, 2017, 01:23:06 PM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

If you want a really safe decision on this things, Holding was quite good because risk is very minimal while in day trade it maybe profitable but risk is more high that holding then you to monitor it from time to time I think. One wrong move you can be wreck with this kind of tactics.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: August 23, 2017, 12:57:31 PM
If You want to make sure that you are using the right things for the right moment you need to make sure that paypal is only used for online payments and btcoins only used for investments.
Paypal has the disadvantages if paypal found shady or illegal activities in your account , your account would be limited temporarily or permanent . But , it has an advantages while the bitcoin not have . You can refund your money with paypal while bitcoin can't do this.
For me , either paypal and bitcoin has their unique features . So it depends by user itself for spending their money and preferred platform to use.

It maybe true that Paypal has some advantages than bitcoin, but bitcoin has a lot of advantages than Paypal. Paypay is not volatile as bitcoin does, Paypal cannot be trade while bitcoin can be trade in exchange site platorm in this industry and many more reason why still choose bitcoin than Paypal.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 23, 2017, 09:45:09 AM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

Everything is possible nowadays, Now regarding to your question that is possible, if all bitcoin users and bitcoin community will no longer use bitcoin. For sure bitcoin value's will fall and drop into zero. But, for what is happening now I think bitcoin awill not go to that scenario instead, it will go up more and more until it reach 10,000$ this year.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: August 23, 2017, 08:46:08 AM
I've heared that in some countries people have to pay the income tax after buying fiat for their bitcoins. Anyone faced such problem? If yes then how you deal with it in your country?
At one point of view  bitcoin is an instrument for investment so ppl buy it willing to get income in their currency.
At the other point it is a currency and it might be used with a purpose of saving. In this case the tax would be stupid.
Sometimes I've been thinking about if bitcoin become legalize in other country is it good? because, if the government declare bitcoin as their legal currency, does this means it has tax? something like that,..but as long as bitcoin decentralized bitcoin can't have taxes in every transaction.
