As the demand for Bitcoin is increasing and will it be, as new people know about Bitcoin they will invest in Bitcoin and in the result the price will go high. So those who try to hold Bitcoins for some time will earn handsome profit.

What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
In all cases of investments have risks that will result good or bad fortune. For example, holding your Bitcoin will eventually give you good fortune if the value would rise from $4K TO $5K OR $6K otherwise when peak value is indeed rising then you'll really regret instead holding is the best option. But for me, holding a Bitcoin unless you're not using it for very important needs then it's still a good idea. |

People (including me) are holding their bitcoins with the belief that bitcoin will go even higher in coming time and we know we can have more money if we don't sell our coins right now. Those who sell their coins when they see a drop of just $50 from the price are the ones who has no patience at all, and patience is the basic thing you need in something like bitcoin.

They hold their bitcoin for now because bitcoin is increasing more. Some people hold bitcoin to get good profit. |

They are reserving it in the near future because they know price will become higher more than today. They simply want to sell at a higher price so that they could gain a much better profit. Or simply they are still waiting for Aug.1 result.
Some of them waiting for the price of bitcoin to be higher in the coming days or year. So thats why the other are they holding of their altcoins for a big value coming. When that times come they going to trade for bitcoin and a lot of money i think they get. |

Those who sell their coins when they see a drop of just $50 from the price are the ones who has no patience at all, and patience is the basic thing you need in something like bitcoin.
Of course this is the only reason why people are holding bitcoin for long term. You gain much profit as they can. The only reason from holding your coins is that is really takes a lot of effort and patience for some to really hold on it for a long time. If you are trader, and you see that the price has reached $4500 and you bought it at around $1000, its not easy to resist the temptation to cashing it out because the profit is already in from on you. So we can't blame them for cashing it out, but for most of us, we are not going to sell until we are satisfied on what the price will be. So it really depends on the individual if he wants to sell or continue to hold. |

all wish to earn profit as simple as that so is the reason people hold on with their bitcoins to sell them after they have attained their targeted rated just like in the stock and share market sell off when the rate is high and invest when the price is low.  |

There are many bitcoin users tend to hold their bitcoin for different purposes but there is only one thing they want to . It is because if they hold it for now there is a big possibility that they can get it with high value in the future. As we all know bitcoin price is continuously rising therefore it is surely possible. |

I think they are waiting for the right time where they can withdraw their btc with no regret because its price is unpredictable it varies all the time so their mindset is to withdraw it on the right time. And it is not easy to earn btc so if you just spend it in no time it'll just nonsense and it takes time and patience to earn something in btc so they're hesitant to spend their btc. |

Many are holding bitcoins and it's not new for everyone. And this is a popular activity by those people that are in bitcoin and the activity that you need to do is very easy. You just have to hold your bitcoins and wait for the price to increase, that's very simple = profit. |

Looking at the time stamp, maybe OP should know the answer by now. After the activation, the price goes to its ATH and the community is overwhelmed by this. So if you sold your coins last few months, you surely regret for selling. People holding bitcoin simply their hopes are too high for this and they know in time bitcoin will make us taste the moon. |

Bitcoin is good for who knows it but it is better for us to let the other people know about bitcoin too. When you are saying "Critical Situation" I assume that kind of situation shows that Bitcoin prices had just gone into price correction. In these kind of situations traders and investors take advantage of the price being lower, at this moment they are actually creating a margin of safety in which they are buying Bitcoin in which just bottomed out and the possibility of it getting lower than your purchased price is actually lower, decreasing your risk overall. |

people are holding Bitcoin becouse its rate not fixed, every bitcoin holder trust that bitcoin rate going to higher. so if you sell Bitcoin then you may miss golden change to rich.I thing this is the main issue.
The price of bitcoin is not fixed and it is also unpredictable so you cannot blame people if they don't like to hold bitcoin for long term because they are just playing safe and that is good because you are not risking too much money. For me the right thing to do is to just do trading with bitcoin like buying from the lower point and selling it on tops like for the current price now. Yes, exactly. This is why people keep holding their coins, even me, I continue investing it especially now that it is growing high every now and then. For sure someday everyone that holds now become more richer in the time comes. We can see how people support bitcoin. There are every type of people who are involved in bitcoins like trading, only investors, used in every day life, play gambling with them and many more usage. |
