8000 btc have been removed from the 30k ICO acc. For what? Was Bioviva that expensive?
I have already stated the bioviva is a complete waste of time and brings 0value to the waves project. In fact I am completely against it and if I find out the devs paid for the announcement I'm selling out.. you can attack me for that comment all you like, as others have a few days ago... Let me explain. 1: bioviva is a biotech company with limited funds dealing with gene therapy. This revolutionary idea is so far from becoming realistic that for a company to make a profit it will be decades out. Yes, decades. 2: biotech companies require lots of money to burn. And this one will take considerably more, probably in the range of a billion+ before they even make it to clinical trials. We will not be able to give them that amount, and they will need it for success. 3: ask yourself, if the company is such a great investment, why wouldn't they be on wall street asking for money? Probably because wall street knows better and said GTFO. Bioviva is a money pit, along with 90% of biotech start ups. I'd be much happier if the devs announced a crowdfund to make a wormhole to heaven. +1 Good Point! Anyway, i ll hold my Wave. No its not a good point. Mr.Ease didn't understand what it's all about. Waves isn't going to spend a single penny on Bioviva. Waves is going to be the platform for a crowdfunding project for Biovia. That means that Biovia is actually going to launch an own token inside the waves platform. |

can and will waves enable users to do something NXT+NEM can't do- right now?
is the only difference between the two : fiat gateways, crowdfunding focus?
can NEM implement this too on existing platform?
is not NEM very much on forefront when comes to real world usage in financial industries?

The amount of possibilities behind a decentralised platform are huge. This could be the 3.0 of the blockchain tech. by inclusion of the blockchain into the everyday life. Waves is going to be the platform for this. But without going to deep into the details you shouldn't forget that Tech is not everything. Actually it's only a part of the entire system.
