I think he uses Eliovp at his work PC. ahh im not upto date -_- that's nice to know who is heliox im still waiting the full review for 24hours my friend using boysie rom (30mhs+) running dualmode now 1 of some card burned-out, he running 2week, im not know more detail about temp, etc. he just saying his vga burned-out and now his trying to refund his card, but im not sure he get new device because he mod the bios. |

Hi, sorry to say, but it seems you have a BIG lack of networking knowledge. Therefore I strongly recommend you to NOT try what you are trying because publishing the management port without additional security measures (VPN or reverse proxy with external authentication) will make your miners open for anybody - they could change everything, including pool and reward address. Aside from that it seems you would have to use some dyndns-service, as your external IP-address probably will change with dial-up. I am quite sure that this IP-address is not your public one.  Edit: of course you can use that one locally inside your LAN. Maybe that's what you want? Then you just have to make sure your phone/tablet/whatever is using your local network (Wi-Fi) and not its public internet access... You can set -mport -3333 on miner to allow view view only. Setting negative port number disables remote control, but still allows monitoring. For addresses, googling what is my ip will show your public address. ipconfig will show your local address. If you are on the same network, use local. If checking remotely, you need to forward the port from router (N/A for dialup), and allow exception in computer firewall. You can use the app, or go to port 8000 (configurable in ethman) in a web browser. Hmmm, good point with the negative port number, missed that somehow. Thanks for helping out! It'd be great if you could tell us about the version of that RX 480, your OS, the driver you're using and the ROM you're using at the moment. You should add port numer or so  Or rather you need to use port forwarding in your router im use port 3333 i check my claymore port and ip port is right. im using Three internet provider (dial up) , are this the reason why i can't connect at claymore monitor ? |

I have modded (480LowEnergyOK) my XFX rx480 8gb cards now and it works almost perfect. The first 1-2hours the cards stay at a stable 29mhash, then they will wobble between 24-27 mhash. I think it has something to do with the temp, but i can't see anything in gpu-z? (my onboard graphics control my screen)  What is there to do? - Reinstalled the drivers, nothing - Did the Mod again, nothing Card is probably throttling because it gets to hot. Either you can increase the fan speed because it's only at 27%... You can lower the core clock/voltage, won't be needed though because it's most likely the fanspeed.. You can also open the rom in PolarisBiosEditor and change max temp to 85 or so. Further, that isn't normal. You should see your clocks and temp. Do you have onboard vga turned on and a monitor attached to that? Otherwise, yes, reinstall drivers. Greetings The fan goes up to 60% after a while and i already re-installed the drivers, it did not help. Any other idea? this is like my issue/problem at my XFX Rx480 8gb. if the temperature reaches 80 degrees upwards then hash rate is going down to 20-25 degrees. now im not Overclock my card, just undervolt the power -15% ( claymore -powlim -15 ), and the hashrate very stable at 28mhs |

Ok. Attempt on flashing 1 rx 480 with 480lowenergyOK.rom is failed - so I need your helpI did everything according to citronick guide: Win 7, originally I had 5 cards (3x r9 390 and 2x rx 480) and 16.8.2 drivers 1) I took out all cards except 1x rx 480 2) I run cmd in Admin mode and used 480lowenergyOK.rom ROM to flash 3) Rebooted. At this point my card was not recognized by AMD drivers, tried to install drivers and automatically did it. After restart I've got the standard low resolution window, so actually card was not supported by driver. 4) I've disabled this card in Control Panel, Device Manager. 5) I've restarted to Safe mode in Win 7 you should restart and press F8 after BIOS POST and select Safe mode. 6) I've replaced driver in system32/drivers with modified 7) Launched signing software and pressed switched to signing mode  Launched cmd as Admin and typed in windows/system32 this line: bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions TESTSIGNING. Got confirmation that signing was completed 9) Restarted in normal mode installed 16.8.2 drivers. Restarted and enabled card in control panel I've got sign that there is a problem with device. I've restarted and despite 16.8.2 drivers were installed correctly my card is still in VGA mode and cannot use the driver So questions: 1) What was wrong? 2) How to fix it? 3) If I cannot fix it - can I restore my original BIOS (I did not make a backup, because did not know how to do it)?
