503  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russia Lowering BTC-related Penalties on: November 11, 2014, 04:25:18 PM
The U.S. and the U.K. joined the European Union in threatening to tighten sanctions against Russia, that will prevent Russia economy from growing next year.
Oil Price is down and sanctions from Europe Union and US will hurt Russia.

So maybe this was the first step Russia will accept Bitcoin ?

That's what i think too.. they just wanna do it sneaky.. We'll see more new from Russia and Bitcoin soon i guess..
504  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: enough reading stuff for me time to earn some BTC on: November 11, 2014, 03:57:04 PM
Well it looks like it's 50% like and 50% don't like faucets..

Btw, it takes less time for me to enter a few captchas than search and find 46 beverage cans lol..
+ i already got a job, and guess what i'm using faucets @ job

I will stop arguing because I guess it's a personnal choice if you want to use em or not.. ?

505  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: November 11, 2014, 03:36:15 PM
Freebitco.in is one of the best faucet around.
Its minimum payment is always 0.002 no matter what btc price is.
It has been around for a long time and is stable.

I agree 100% this is THE best faucet, 100% uptime + there's some real chances of getting "lucky numbers" (I rolled 9887 and 9996 last week) + multiply hi-lo game (Don't get too greedy with it and you may win ..)

506  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie guide for getting bitcoins on: November 11, 2014, 03:27:45 PM
I know it's not much, but it takes zero effort.

Not sure if it will pay or not. Even if it will pay, the minimum withdrawal threshold is 15500 satoshi and you need to pay 10000 satoshi for fee.
So if you can get 2 satoshi a day, it will take 7750 days (over 21 years) for you to get a minimum cashout and receive 5500 satoshi. Tongue

Yeah.. but i don't care since it's free, i don't have to do nothing... so it's some kind of gamble without any investments..
I may pay or not.. wE'll see.

Your coin balances:
BitCoin: 0.00012195 BTC
LiteCoin: 0.00333992 LTC
FeatherCoin: 0.25935913 FTC
FedoraCoin: 4124.07683433 TIPS
WorldCoin: 0.00000000 WDC
EarthCoin: 0.00000000 EAC
InfiniteCoin: 240.85741071 IFC
DogeCoin: 3.63410537 DOGE
DigitalCoin: 0.63988796 DGC
Virtacoin: 36.78999037 VTA

We will increase the free coins you receive every day gradually and regularly.

Note that it's still "beta" and it can improve.. but i bet i will never get paid..

507  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin Difficulty Reach 100 Billion? on: November 10, 2014, 09:05:53 PM
I guess 19 November, so still 9 days

Impossible, the next retarget is in 8 days approx, the estimated difficulty is 42.. we won't even reach 50M in 2014..
508  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi New here on: November 10, 2014, 07:31:54 PM
We are more interested in GPU mining because we have the infrastructure already and the is not that concerned with Power prices because our machines need to be on anyway.

You will not earn enough to pay for the additional electricity cost.

Please understand that a GPU that is running at 100% uses much more electricity than one that is idle. Your power bill will skyrocket. Also, don't forget about cooling costs. An active GPU generates a lot more heat than an idle GPU. That means your cooling costs will go up, too.

Well it depends on electricity costs..  + location of OP: if he's in northern hemisphere, it won't need cooling for the next 5 months
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Search for Satoshi on: November 10, 2014, 06:30:38 PM
I also don't understand why so many people are so fixated on finding the identity of satoshi.

Agreed, I could care less who he is, and only slightly care what his motivations were.

Maybe because he's a genius???
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other than Bitcointalk on: November 10, 2014, 06:13:27 PM
There's a few active Facebook groups too (can't tell you the groupnames, no facebook access now but you can search)
511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: enough reading stuff for me time to earn some BTC on: November 10, 2014, 05:57:04 PM
Faucets are a HORRIBLE way to get bitcoins.
Sig campaigns are pretty bad too.
Bitcoin is money.  Therefore, the way you get bitcoins is the same way that you get money:
Get a job.
Sell something.
Provide a service.
Exchange some other form of money.

Come on, stop it with this "faucet bashing" it's not an Horrible way ..?!
I just received 171176 satoshis from faucets yesterday..  @ current price= 0.63/day= 229,95$/year
If the price of Bitcoin goes up (as some ppl say) to + 1000$.. it can be 1.71$day,  625$/year even more..

The problem with the faucets is that people are calculating profitability @ current price.. that's incorrect.
You don't sell those sats you get from faucets right now..! you HOLD them, and wait for the price to go up.... then you can sell.

Back in 2012, someone tipped me 0.1 BTC just to join a facebook group, the value was about 0.50$ back then..
now it's 35$, and i could go up to 100$. That 0.1 looked ridiculous at that time but now it's worth something..SAme thing with faucets.. it may look ridiculous NOW, but it can worth WAY more in the future

My 2 sats

i've been hanging out in bitcoin communities for some time now and i've created my first address now in blockchain.info
1BBAkVCzDN1wqDuAage1WpJWDvsk5xX2vA
 Cheesy

now it's time to earn some BTC, and need suggestions

i found the signature campaigns, is there any other way to earn some BTC

any suggestions is appreciated  Roll Eyes

Forget about faucets and mining bitcoins. Try selling stuff or services here, also if you can do some jobs you can also offer that service here.

He said : "any other way to earn some BTC" So faucet are an (easy) way to get some Bitcoins.

If BTC price ever go up (+1000$), those small satoshis amount from faucets can be a lot of money
514  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie guide for getting bitcoins on: November 10, 2014, 02:11:27 PM
A nice faucet site is quoinpro.com. you can get small amounts of bitcoin and some alts just by signing up.

Use my referral link.

https://qoinpro.com/94b80e284db5632562772fa058a2eefa

TT

No, that may be the WORST faucet ever. You do not increase you daily gain by referring people, you just get a little higher amouny when he registers and that's it. Just the worst.
+ 1 lol
I Registered at Qoinpro 9 months ago, i have +50 refs, and i make about 2 sats/day.
The only + is that i don't have to do nothing to get satoshis but .. payout is ridiculous
515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best bitcoin faucets? on: November 09, 2014, 08:47:56 PM
Lol!

You guys should read more about faucets ..
You can make way more than 1000 sats per day with faucets..
Don't use those that pays 20 sats/hour.. the minimuum is 500sats/h + possibility of more (lucky rolls )

And i say it everytime : it MAY look like a waste of time TODAY, but it's FREE satoshis, and if BTC keep going up, it's GONNA be profitable.. so the point is to collects those satoshis today but keep em and wait until the price is way higher..
516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: putting btc on exchange on: November 08, 2014, 08:38:59 PM

517  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie guide for getting bitcoins on: November 08, 2014, 08:36:04 PM

518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice needed on: November 08, 2014, 08:31:27 PM
Do NOT put all 10k into Bitcoin.

Find some safe investments and utilize them, and put a portion into Bitcoin.

+1
It all depends what is your tolerance level vs risk/rewards.
519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Campaign? How its done? on: November 08, 2014, 06:32:41 PM
There are two campaigns that are willing to "hire" Newbies: the bitin.io and 777coin one. Those may not pay a LOT, but it's a good start and you get the hang of how a signature campaign works

+ 1 i think that's the only 2 that can accept "newbies" .. But, if i can get you a fews satoshis.. why not?
520  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earnings on: November 07, 2014, 08:27:39 PM
