501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethbits Local and Ethbits iTrade Token Crowdsale (ICO) on: May 03, 2017, 12:08:11 AM
Congratulations to this project but I think by default the top 20 coins should be added no need to add those top and popular coins in the voting, they will always have a good volume because almost all marketers had those coins in their portfolio.

Correct. They can compete with those top exchange site because those are the coins that all traders want to trade. But I hope they add some new coins that has a great potential and good use.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: April 30, 2017, 01:46:51 AM
At this moment I don't have but I am sure that this year I will own more than just 1 btc. I'm just 5 months old in the world of btc so it will take time. I know its difficult to make 1 btc but I know I can. I already have much information now thanks to this forum.
503  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: April 30, 2017, 01:41:20 AM
No. They have been in the business for a very long time. They are one of the most trusted payment partners of many sites. If there are some things that are not going well, it could be your fault but if not just submit a ticket or report. If they are just a scamsite, they shoud've been gone a long time ago.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joe Reno NBA Picks/Predictions on: April 29, 2017, 01:13:59 AM
Does anyone what site this person is betting? I really want to know his stats so I can track him every now and then. I like to bet on his picks but a I'm a little skeptic because of his anonymity.
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your best strategy to determine if the coin will be profitable? on: April 29, 2017, 12:53:29 AM
There are so many guidelines here on bitcointalk that you need. Just keep reading and searching and you will find them. Try to look on altcoin discussion and trading discussion.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 29, 2017, 12:47:30 AM
Absolutely yes. Corruption on people who are already greedy in fiat currencies especially those politicians on higher seats will eventually happen. Bitcoin is very clear can be exchange as money so corrupt people will do anything to get more if it.
507  Economy / Services / Re: Thomasven's One Week Free Trading Tips/tricks - Make money trading! on: April 29, 2017, 12:35:02 AM
I think you really have a lot of experience in trading fiat currencies but it would be great if it's cryptocurrency trading because a lot of people here are trading altcoins. If you're not into cryptocurrency just continue posting on your thread because it's still helpful.
508  Economy / Services / Re: 1k$ daily - free tutorial on: April 29, 2017, 12:30:01 AM
Has anyone been scammed yet?

I'm also waiting for someone to try his scheme. Looks like no one has even tried. Maybe there's too much warnings on this thread that makes anyone hesitant. Let's wait until someone will prove it's the same scam tactics like every scammer does.

510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to newbies before investing into an Altcoin! on: April 28, 2017, 02:14:11 AM
A lot of years spent trading and some other projects so time to give some advice to newbies.

Advice on buying alt coins, just remember you will be swimming with a lot of sharks once you get into altcoins so build some defence and protect you investment wisely, because these people i referred to as sharks are the scum of the earth.

"Read the whole ANN thread of a coin (even if its a 100 page) don't just buy cause you feel you have a hunch or based on hype. Hype is created by  shill accounts and cheap paid news editorial , you can usually tell you will see a lot of fake hype from newbie accounts posting crap like " to the moon" or screenshot of price going up"
Make sure the dev is active and has not left the project, if the dev is less than full member account walk away.
Crowdsale and ICO walk away, only people making money will be the dev and his associates. ICO and Crowdsale are bullshiet. Don't believe in that marketing crap has the reason for the ICO or crowdsale.
Inactive dev walk away, a dev that randomly disappear for weeks is a bad sign. If you hear excuse such as family or medical / holidays etc expedite your exit.
A dev that has worked on several other alt coins that have failed is usually a good sign to avoid any of his project, its not a coincidence history repeats itself.
Coin with high supply like 100 millions are less successful than coin coins in the mid range like 30-40 mill.
If a dev claims high % of coins will be used as bounty walk away, this could just be a ruse to pay the coin to himself unless there is proof each bounty has been verified and checked thoroughly.
Avoid buying coins that are too expansive.
Trust no one and avoid trollbox.
Do not become a bag holder , if you feel the coin is going nowhere cut your losses and it least exit with some of your money and stop day dreaming.
Don't invest money you cannot afford to loose.
Do not get caught in the dream state where you think the coin you pick will make you rich ,usually be realistic.
Do not automatically assume if you invest in the top 10 coin it automatically means you will make money, you will be surprised of the results and realise your mistake far too late.
Do not get greedy , if you have a coin that has made some profit it least get 50% of the profit based on your investment.

Using the above guidelines will make you more prepared for the altcoin scene.

This is very helpful. There's a lot of new coins that appear and a lot of people has no idea how to filter what's real and what's not. But i think this could be also used as a trading advice. I hope you can add some more.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: April 28, 2017, 02:01:18 AM
The best time to leave the game is when you lost your profit or you lost all your bankroll. But I think even we recommend that, gamblers will still follow themselves. But for me this is the part when I need to leave the game.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 28, 2017, 01:56:16 AM
As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.

I think your experience will teach you how to control your greed. Greed is a natural feeling and controlling it will take a lot of effort. It might take some time but I know you can teach yourself on how to do that. Professional gamblers have been through that and they did it.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: April 28, 2017, 01:46:00 AM
No. I think that is very hard to do. Gambling has always random picks and it really depends on how lucky you are. There no such thing as patterns because its not a puzzle and you will just trust your instinct.
514  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Earn $xx-$xxx/Day on: April 28, 2017, 12:52:37 AM
There's a ton of website that offers the same task in exchange for money like yours. I think you should put more info because it will look like you're hiding something.
515  Economy / Goods / Re: iphone 7s on: April 27, 2017, 02:19:59 AM
Look, an insider at Apple! Come on, the iPhone 7S will be released in September. We're currently in April.
Maybe he is selling a fake one or a clone iphone 7. And the price is so high with that kind of phone. Op must be joking in making this topic. With that price i can buy 3 asus phones.

Maybe op is really selling iphone 7s....but made in china. If that's the case, since we're talking fake here I will buy many iphone 7s with THE BILLION COIN.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: April 27, 2017, 01:26:07 AM
Yes it is. The reason why we want to gamble is to have more money. That' where the greed exist and greed is one of the seven sins. I'm sure every players have felt that way.
517  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex or Bittrex on: April 27, 2017, 01:05:31 AM
It would be Poloniex. The two are the best exchange right now but Poloniex has more traders compared to the other. But I don't know if its just me because I'm having difficulties logging in on poloniex that I need to change the desktop site to mobile site.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 27, 2017, 12:47:33 AM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

Well, on these kind of situation you really need to have all the information about the specific altcoin. You should do smart trading. Invest on an altcoin with a good future. If that's what you did, you'll never worry if that goes up and down. You know the will price will rise up much more because you have studied it.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TorCoin: a new possibility for anonymity on: April 26, 2017, 05:53:50 AM
SCAM people.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Do not buy TORCOIN unless you want to lose money.

1. 'Dev' premined 10% of total supply. The rest is POW. If the 'dev' was serious, they would do full POW, and buy mining power towards it with fair announcement.
2. 'Dev' has not revealed anything about their identity/credentials.

3. This is the crazy part. The 'dev' has actually posted on the TorCoin forums that he will pay a real 'dev' a small percentage of the premine to do actual dev on the coin.

4. Coin does not offer anything new. No new features. No community. No innovation.
5. No roadmap.

Don't buy this crypto. Buy Monero, PIVX, even Dash (I hate Dash) etc. PIVX even has TOR nodes. if you are interested in investing in privacy/anonymous focused crypto.

Oh, and they advertise on CoinMarketCap with banners. The only cryptos that do that without self-funding marketing mechanisms are SCAMS.

It looks like this coin is already dead before even starting. All the information are really helpful. This will be my guideline if there's a new coin appearing on the market.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Alert The Billion Coin - Ponzi Scheme on: April 26, 2017, 01:44:17 AM

If this is so much of a scam then how are people buy and selling different products all day for TBC.

[/quote]

I don't really like this TBC is spreading faster more than BTC. I think this kind of scam coin is very organized to manipulate people on the internet easily. People are fully convinced because the letters are very similar to BTC.
