Still over $400 I see. In fact hovering around $430.

That was a fairly reasonable correction considering how much it went up in a day and a half.

It wasn't enough of a dip for me to buy though. If it had happened during the day, I would have bought some more coins when it dipped below $410. Maybe next time.

Well, well, well. I see we had our little correction while I was out for a few frosties. Not surprising.



OK let's get on with the program.

Jeez, that didn't take long. I go to change my shirt before going out and we're already past $475.

Maybe we'll get past $490 before I get back.

$495 is a big milestone for me. At current exchange rates that's Can$680, back to over ten times what I paid for my first coins.

Speaking of the bar car, man can't live on Bitcoin alone. All this popcorn has been making me thirsty.

The lame open-mike improv "comedy" at the local bar should be done by now and the band should be starting soon. I think I'll go have a frosty Guinness or two (or several).

The people getting hurt are the shorters and those who sold too early.

Of course we'll have corrections along the way but this 5 month old uptrend is far from over.

Another leg up I see. Seems like $400 is behind us, hopefully for good.

Now we'll have to see if we can hold $430, and look toward another leg up after a consolidation period.

Historically? You mean last year? That's a pretty small sample size.

When I read that I just had to check it out, because that's not how I remembered it.

When I looked at the Dec15-Jan15 historical charts I saw that the prices actually rose around Christmas in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Only in early January 2015 did the price fall, and that occurred when Bitstamp was hacked.

Sounds like a lame attempt to try to get people to sell because you missed the chance to buy below $400. You had almost a year to stock up on coins for less than $300 and a couple of opportunities to accumulate at less than $200. Proven fool.

Yesterday's gains seem to be holding, for now. Hopefully we'll be back over $400 at some time today, but we may have to wait until China wakes up.
