that is only problem with your account my deposit get credited after one confirmation, that issue will be get resolved after come online or you can ask about that issue in site chatbox.

Sometimes over-regulations are a form of ban. Strictly forbidding something (in this case - Bitcoin) would make any government look like North Korea, so instead they try to 'help' with regulations, but if those are hard/impossible to comply with - the effect would be the same.

Would it be good if you were obliged to register your every BTC address with government institution, or declare every satoshi you have, or pay tax on hobby-mining etc?

Positive article, but that's only speculation. UK gov seemed to be rather Bitcoin-friendly so far, but words and declarations from politics don't mean much, especially in the pre-election period.

One thing is sure, "Belfast Telegraph" is pretty bullish on Bitcoin today, another one from them:

Sorry, the reason was that it is in Games and Rounds and it seems like an investor game to me but I reported it and it hasn't been moved or anything so maybe I'm wrong.

You're actually right. 'Investor games' is more suitable board for that thread.

But it's a good custom just to post in the mentioned thread and ask OP to move it himself, rather than report it to mods.
The both boards are similar and it's easy to get confused, I don't think there were any bad intentions behind that.

The point of this thread is to fight the spammers, and that's not the case here.

Probably it has not much to do with Bitcoin at all.

In case of most non-business bank account, the only money coming in are from your employment, with occasional transactions from friends/family, paypal and other known institutions.

So it may be the case, that when you're sending/receiving funds from bitcoin exchange (often foreign bank account) it could trigger the 'suspicious transaction' procedure on the bank's system. This comes with the costs of engaging staff to perform investigation.

Even if they figure that there's nothing illegal about your activity, they could simply estimate that costs of regular investigations on your account exceeds any potential gains. So they'd be better off by simply closing your account.

Although that's just my theory. On the other hand, Bitcoin is not much of a threat to banks atm, but as it's growing, it'll be taking some of the banks' income little-by-little, so it could be their way to try to keep people away from it.

You should try contacting them again, maybe by official letter (keep the copy for yourself) and threat with filing a complaint with FinCen/IRS or whatever. It often works.

Has anyone ever thought of the fact that since Satoshi couldn't really avoid pre-mining (although it isn't really pre-mining but there were very few people mining the first blocks) he has voluntarily "frozen" the coins to make it fair to others? This does fit into his principles and philosophy..

If that was his intention, he could've done it the better way, as we don't know whether those coins are really 'frozen'. Sending them to the address, such as this one, would leave no doubts:

My bad, I thought you need to roll 1-9 (not 1-8).

FJ should consider reducing it to "1-6", otherwise it's not very likely anyone will hit that in the next few years.

Let's say that the bot just paid me at 9900 and then I delete 100 posts, and make 1. What happens?

After payment is initiated, bot would simultaneously take the value of 9900 as a starting post.

Then, I'm guessing, if 100 is deleted, it would show -100 and negative payment (unless it's written in the code that the values cannot be less than zero).

I'm sure he just is busy.  Sounded like he went through a lot today on preventing spam (which is good).   

What I suggest to make avatar easiest.  In your pm provide your price and how long.   Provide a link to the avatar you want modified with a Bit-x logo. 

I think doing those things will make it easier to Macro.  (And I'm not sure if open to everyone yet or not I know in future he has mentioned it will be)

Why is it always assumed that Satoshi choosing to dump his coins would be immediately noticeable?

Most people who say it would be noticeable probably mean ~1 mil coins spread over multiple wallets that allegedly were owned by Satoshi. Those are being watched by many and if any of the coins moves it would get massive attention + likely panic (in terms of price).

Whether he had/has any other coins and actively use(d) them is rather irrelevant, as people already expect such coins to be in circulation (as part of the supply).

I hope he did manage to somehow capitalise on his invention and secured his financial future. It would be pretty sad to think that he's stuck in some shitty 9-5 job to pay his bills.
