5001  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the capital found? on: January 24, 2017, 12:03:11 AM
The main question of poor people in the era of capitalism, where the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer.
Usually when I ask a young owner how did he get it he says parents paid for it or he took over a family business.

-marry into a rich family
-inherit money
-befriend someone rich and borrow money
-take a loan in a bank
-rob a bank  Grin
-work like a mule eat cheap crap and save money

Hope the guide will prove useful Wink
5002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC network will become centralized on: January 23, 2017, 11:55:27 PM
The cost of running a node will remain the same even in 10 years. Take a look at the computer market. 15 years ago everyone were used to having a 1-5GB drive, something like a 10GB would have been a luxury. Now most of us have a 500GB drives that cost less than that old 10 back in the days. There's no need for centralization.
5003  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: My first investment on: January 23, 2017, 11:49:15 PM
I think it's not a good idea.
Amph said that you'll be getting €190 with an s9, but think of some details first. The cost of a miner is $2100 + shipping. You might also have to pay tax (VAT) if you're importing it from outside the EU.
To get the money back you'll have to wait almost a year and constantly supply the miner with power and a stable internet connection. If the miner disconnects or shuts down while you're sleeping, are at work or drinking with friends, you lose money.
You will need to deal with noise and keep it cool. You'll also need to consider a constant draw of 1350W from the outlet. This may seem like nothing much, but you should check if your home isn't powered from a single phase, because many apartments have a single 16A-20A outlet breaker, so a miner will take half of it.
Also, if the miner gets damaged by something like a surge, you won't get your money back.
5004  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt at $19,959,943,400,000 will $20 trillion make the news? on: January 23, 2017, 11:14:13 PM
The size of debt doesn't matter. It's basically impossible to pay and still growing, all because of the crazy high and unjust interest. Iceland did not pay their debt and did anything happen? No.
Cyprus went bankrupt, did something happen? No. What if the debt becomes 10x times the GDP? They can't pay it now and they won't be able to in 10 years.

Oh no! My cover is blown!

5006  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I just read an awesome book about evolution on: January 22, 2017, 08:47:22 PM
Another definition of evolution.

When are people going to realize that there isn't any evolution in the original sense of the word. The only way proponents of evolution are able to make evolution exist, is to change the meaning into some other meaning of something that DOES exist. Of course, that doesn't make the original meaning to be something that exists. It only shows that evolutionists don't like giving up on their religion.

Cool

I could say the same thing about gods. They are only a representation of human fantasies, but believers also don't like giving up, as it might show they were wrong most of their lives and wasted so much time and money worshiping something that not only does not give a shit but doesn't exist.
5007  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: January 22, 2017, 08:37:09 PM
There is no creation without a mastermind or someone with the bigger picture
What about the big bang theory?

If the Bible is a book of facts, then let us look at these "facts".

As your bible states:
"God creates Adam and Eve"
Adam and Eve have Children
These children grow into adults and have their own children.

As you need both male and female to produce children.... Adam and Eve's family commit incest.

I always thought that their children were Cain and Abel. How did they reproduce?

5009  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alt-Right = Nazis on: January 22, 2017, 07:20:37 PM

No I'm not American and I'm not a Leftist.

I actually hate the Left, but I particularly hate the Nazis more than the left.

It's 1 thing to have to have theft+economic maddnes, it's another thing to have theft+economic madness + extreme authoritarianism + genocide.

So the Nazis are the ultimate form of scum.

alt right adolf hitler division reporting for duty

Jesus Christ, are you a Nazi? You have a swastika in your profile. WTF is happening here?
Actually, Stalin, who was a leftist was as bad as Hitler. Scum can come from both left and right.

As for that "swastika" you are a good example of how educated young people are nowadays.
This is a Nazi swastika, on a German flag:

Now, look at his avatar again...

5011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of Bank's Services in Future Will be Keeping Private Keys for Customers on: January 21, 2017, 03:23:31 PM
Banks already have safe deposit box where anyone can put anything valuable that may also include bitcoin paper wallet. Its better not to tell them your bitcoin address, they may report it to government and they may charge you in the name of tax.
An address is not enough to prove an ownership. You could show an address in the bank and then say it doesn't belong to you. How would they prove it? Wink
You'd need a private key, and showing the key to anyone is like giving them your money. If someone gained access just for a few seconds and managed to take a picture of it, or swipe it in front of a camera, your money's gone.
5012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the best legal / illegal ways to earn Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2017, 03:00:35 PM
i agree with one of the poster above, get a job, there is no more legal than that Roll Eyes
Not always. Think about prostitutes, they are hired and perform a job, but It's not always legal. Same with Bitcoin, you can start a company and do a job you think is legal and land in jail, like that guy from Bitinstant.

Illegal: Drugs, real Hacking tuto, stolen cards, how to scam peoples, sex services etc...

It depends what you classify as a drug. What is illegal in one country may  be legal in another.
Sex services are actually legal in most countries if you're doing it of your own free will.
i do not think that sex service is legal in most of the countries may be no even in a single country. sex service is not legal as morally, religiously.

You don't know much about the world, do you?

Red=Illegal
Green, Blue = legal

5014  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If nuclear war broke out where's the safest place on Earth? on: January 20, 2017, 05:25:22 PM
Even though I believe it is difficult anybody to survive after the blast the best place to live temporary is in a nuclear shelter inside a mountain. After that, there are no many places in Earth except some small countries like as Tuvalu, Malta, Iceland but because many believe that WWIII will start in Northern hemisphere countries like Argentina and Chile as well due to located in the southern hemisphere and air clearing up relatively faster.

I would strike off Tuvalu from the list. It is a group of small low-lying coral islands. The nuclear warfare will result in the melting of the polar ice-caps, and Tuvalu will be submerged under 50 meters of water.
Any place on earth safe. Though of course nobody knows the real consequences of the nuclear bombings. Chernobyl has shown that scientists can't reliably predict consequences. In addition, the nature quickly adapted to a radiatio
You're wrong. The consequences were clearly visible after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Some countries like Russia also tested their bombs on soldiers.

The exercise, under the code name "Snowball", involved an aerial detonation of a 40 kt RDS-4 nuclear bomb. The stated goal of the operation was military training for breaking through heavily fortified defensive lines of a military opponent using nuclear weapons. An army of 45,000 soldiers marched through the area around the epicenter soon after the nuclear blast. The exercise was conducted on September 14, 1954, at 9:33 a.m
5015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: January 20, 2017, 05:07:00 PM
When you feel like panicking, just stand up and take a walk. Don't end up looking at the charts and sweating, because sooner or later you'll push the button. I did it once and learned on my mistake.
Right now I'm cool Cool

5016  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ross William Ulbricht not Pardoned! on: January 20, 2017, 05:00:26 PM
Ross William Ulbricht is a martyr for personal liberty. In the near future, he will be revered as one of the most courageous humans in the world and will be rewarded for his troubles. Those who imprisoned him will become the most hated people.
According to the FBI, Ulbricht ordered and paid for up to six assassinations against users of the site, which was suspected of theft and blackmail (no murders had been committed, at least one of the performers was a showpiece in his role by the Federal agent. Not like he is a prisoner of conscience.
And somehow none of the alleged assassins were caught and prosecuted, if not for an attempted murder, then maybe for a scam and theft. Of course since none of them were caught there was no testifying. I'm guessing the only evidence of this assassinations are emails between him and some people who posed as hitmen and I don't think this is enough to sentence someone to life of living in a cage, like a monkey.
5017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What if your wallet provider goes under? on: January 18, 2017, 10:41:51 PM
Which ones are the reliable wallet providers?
Just choose any of them. I have used multibit, electrum and qt. All three are reliable, because if those who made them lose interest for some reason, the only thing that will happen is the wallets will stop being updated. They will still be able to connect to the network and you will have a way to move your coins. There just won't be any new features added.
What is the most important, your wallets allow you to access your private keys, which means you have a complete control over the funds. You can copy the private key and paste it into any other wallet and use it to send transactions.
5018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are still far behind mainstream acceptance on: January 18, 2017, 10:21:59 PM
What happened after the 21 million coins are mined?
Nothing. Life will go on and so will Bitcoin.

If (bitcoin) become a universal currency, so the richest guy is the one that hold most coins?
Exactly like in the fiat world, the richest hold the most paper bills.

How much will it be if 21 million coins are to split for the 7 billion people on earth?
Each person will hold 0,003 BTC

Is fiats equivalent of paper?
No, there's much more fiat in circulation than the paper notes representing it.

Can the elderly use them?

Yes, as long as they know how to use a credit/debit card.

What if another algorithm replace bitcoin in the future?

It can happen, but Bitcoin can be upgraded as time passes, so there shouldn't be a need for total replacement.

Is the holder vulnerable to hacking?
No, if he's careful. The most vulnerable are exchanges not your personal wallets. Remember that banks, ATMs and your mobile phone are also vulnerable to hacking.

Do we need general acceptance if I want to use bitcoin?
No, you can start using Bitcoin right now. There's a large list of online stores and companies that accept Bitcoin.

Why can’t we just use fiat if just for payment?
You can use whatever you like.

Can we guarantee the storage of value via bitcoin?
Nobody can guarantee that anything, used as money storage, will retain its value.
Gold, diamonds, real estate and stocks can also lose value.

It seems that the person who wrote the third question, bought Bitcoin at $3000+  Grin
5019  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No Pardon for Ross Ulbricht on: January 18, 2017, 09:58:37 PM
Well Ross made a crime and he should suffer in jail. Its not the presidents of America why he is in jail, it is his own actions that led him to be placed in jail. If he did not make any illegal and illicit activities then he would be in jail in the first place. Also maybe the reason why he was not given a presidential pardon was he did not play as a good man in the penitentiary.
It's not about him being a good boy or not. When you are sentenced for life you can be the nicest inmate in the world and it won't matter.
IMO his sentence should be reduced. Yes, he did something illegal, but he hasn't killed anyone, he just created a market site. Killers and rapists are usually sentenced for 5-10 years. I've seen pedophile murderers, who raped and killed a child, sentenced only to 25 years, and this guy gets life? This has nothing to do with justice.
5020  Other / Meta / Re: Ukrainian local board on: January 18, 2017, 09:49:01 PM
I have no idea why a Russian votes against an Ukrainian board. Wink

Personally, I wouldn't mind if Poland took back a part of Ukraine on the right (west) bank of the Dnieper river. I have a strong inclination to think that they wouldn't mind either (remember, "Polska od morza do morza" is still on the agenda, while there is no more Russian Empire to kick some asses). And no, I don't mean that what's left should go to Russia, God forbid that. Since right now Ukraine looks more like a failing state being governed directly and financed through the IMF by Washington, DC...

In other words, no Ukraine, no Ukrainian local board, as simple as it could possibly get

I don't think there's much love between Poland and Ukraine after the massacres in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.
