5001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 15, 2020, 08:37:49 AM
Bitcoin will not be doomed, even if it costs $ 1. This is a completely different thing than fiat in order to make similar judgments to it.
We have to understand why people keep using the words doomed or dead or destroyed with assets. Thing is these assets are never destroyed unless they are destroyed physically. That's also one point where bitcoin excels over precious metals and gems.

Now investors are divideable into two types : one who have a belief and has reasoning behind their belief and ones who just blindly follow something because someone told them to buy something.

This second group always feels these emotions when their held asset drops in price. They will blindly try to associate the cause of the drop to any reason which they can think of. That is how the human mind works.
5002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: March 15, 2020, 08:32:50 AM
Great, at least, you care with your family because once your story is going to be publicized, people will know who you are, but maybe you can ask that media to hide your real identity. With doing that, I guess that you still have your lives with your family, and they will not get disturbed by the other media news. They can do their usual activity without having a problem because you don't tell all of your lives to the media.
It is possible to write an article with anonymous identities If one wishes. Like the name withheld type of writings.  But I guess this topic is more for the non-anonymous type of writings. Be aware though that most gamblers will end up in a loss if they continue the normal trend. But there will be some who are wise enough to stop and make the most of the money.

Stories are often paid promotional content from casino owners as well. Don't trust the stuff posted in media always, they are often suited to provoke people into doing something.
5003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: March 15, 2020, 03:31:02 AM
The craze with AI is real and scum projects have used this hype to promote their scams for a long time. A single ico or crypto will not change the world economy by becoming the next bitcoin. It is an absurd claim that some projects make and some newbies fall for them too.

People should be wise to not listen to such vaporware but still they do. That's how they learn their lesson. But there will always be a desh flow of idiots to follow these same steps to make the same mistakes.
5004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wish for bounty projects that seem impossible on: March 15, 2020, 02:47:16 AM
The project needs to be developed at the first stage, so it's difficult for them to pay bounty rewards with bitcoin or ETH. They should use that money to develop projects and attract more investors. That is the best strategy for new projects
The funding through the ico is for development itself. So how do you say that they will be developed before funding? What they can or will have is an MVP or  a beta form of the final version.

The point is that majority of the projects don't have a market to sell their project to so they fail.

That applies to bounty hunters too. They don't watch this similarity.
5005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: March 14, 2020, 06:30:23 AM
If casinos want to increase the popularity of P2P they have to come up with such games. You can play a lot of different easy games against other players like chess, checkers, even battleships.
Casinos games like poker and rummy are already popular. Dont know if Bridge is played anywhere but it is also good. Sports betting is always there. You see coming up with a new game is a very difficult thing to do. Homemade games may be specific to a certain casino and they will bank on that game to be their marketing avatar.

Chess, checkers are games that need skills but putting money on those games makes it even more interesting. I think this is one sector that is not yet received the involvement of crypto investors to set up a casino and might be a good market in future.
5006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best time to fill the bag? on: March 14, 2020, 06:26:58 AM
The downward trend of the market is indeed disturbing.
Up and down are the two directions the market price of an asset can move to. Now I see people find stagnant prices disturbing, downward prices disturbing. I mean what else do these people want? Always going up? Nope that wont happen. It would be better for such mindset people to just stop trading for some time.

In fact we are all aware that one of the most pronounced characteristics of the industry is volatility.
Actually the volatility is a measure with respect to time. If you see pre-January2020 prices and compare that to 2019 prices the volatility is on average less than 5%. Such incidents happen once a while. Hence it is wrong to use this price drop to call something too volatile because it is actually not so.

Some persons are of the opinion that the reason for the massive decline is due to the issue of corona virus. I'm yet to understand how corona virus was able to affect this cryptocurrency space to this extent.
Panic and speculation. No direct correlation unless proven.
5007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to watch cryptocurrency courses? on: March 14, 2020, 06:22:01 AM
Youtube is the best place to watch videos so far in our time and I wouldn't call them courses but it's likely to be tutorial videos that teaches the viewers within the specific topic of their video. It's a free video sharing place so you can find them but not all of the videos that are posted there are true so please make sure that the video you are watching is legitimate teaching you the right course.
That is the problem with online tutorials. They are good for non specific things but if you want trading courses it is better to teach yourself or read a book. The fact that youtubers are nothing more than paid shills pumping their own altcoins makes it even more dangerous for newbies to follow them and give the video makers free ad revenue. Dont ever sell your view to these people who are nothing more than scum. But not all youtubers are like that, most of them are. So again you have to use your judgement to sieve off those publishers who are legitimate.

Quote
You can also avail courses through udemy, coursera, etc but most are paid but IIRC, you can search for the free course just use your time to search.
Paid courses are blanket scams. You have heard of the suppoman scum havent you? Used to run paid courses and then give them out for free on his youtube channel. Those who paid 20 pounds for it were crying scam but got banned from his telegram channel. Nice scam if you ask me. Roll Eyes
5008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet Bounty Time on: March 14, 2020, 06:16:38 AM
I agree here. Yes, we are not seeing thousands of scams every day, we are now seeing just tens come out every day but that does not mean it has killed scams. I personally think the percentage of scam projects have grown. Good projects simply aren't coming out anymore. The good ones we see are already there for a while.
Scams are always there. They are a part and parcel of life and though one can be careful to invest or not scams will not reduce ever. A project can be good but it may fail due to other reasons because developing a projects needs strength in finances, marketing and token economics. Every project that failed started with a motto and a roadmap to follow but did they manage to make enough money always?

The thing is that speculation drew a crowd at one time but it was not based on anything concrete which is why they all failed. From the bounty hunters perspective a failed project and a scam are one and the same.
5009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 13, 2020, 04:09:32 AM
You can't find anything easier than investing in long term because we no need to do anything just the capital will generate profits and profits still people chooses trading because they want money instantly so they are going hard at it and most of them gets failed.
One may consider investing for long term and trading is short term but these are interchangeable terms actually. So if you are able to generate profits everyday then dont be disheartened. While losses  are common it is useless to brood over that whether it was supposed to be a investment or trade.

Try going with both and see which ones works for a certain user. The important thing is to do research and perform dummy trades befor starting and not going in for the shitcoins.
5010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: March 13, 2020, 03:58:49 AM
Although we all talk about being controlled gamblers there are people among us who are gambling a lot and not being able to stop playing. If they are unable to control their urge it becomes bad for them and their close ones. Becoming a compulsive gambler is correctable and it is important to recognise such a person early so that others can come in to help.

Check you bankroll, playing times and family time to get an idea of how much you are spending online.
5011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best t in me to fill the bag? on: March 13, 2020, 03:54:19 AM
No, don't be dumb and 'fill your bags' when we don't have a clear indicator when it's going to stop. A guess is that when the stock market begins to turn around, then its a probable crypto will follow. Enter now and be prepared to lose the shirt youre wearing.
It is a good time to buy since coins have dropped to a low and there are less opportunities like this in future where prices will come down this much. Then we also can be somewhat sure that the reason for the drop was the virus panic and not any other reason. It will get better with time and the situation will improve with time.

At that time you will not have crypto at hand to sell for fiat. Missing out this opportunity may be a bad choice if you are looking to encash the panic.
5012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet Bounty Time on: March 13, 2020, 03:44:23 AM
Actually, one more thing has happened since 2017.
Bumping of threads has been less and less effective due to changes introduced to forum.
So less projects jump to the top nowadays, which looks less chaotic than it was before
Previously when these changes were not there the first page of bounty section used to be filled with new posts. Now it is only 75% of the last bumped threads. Truely the craze for bounty has reduced but there are still some fools going for them. This is a side effect of the low income countries who have bots and alt accounts to spam the forum and get paid for such transgressions.

Good bounty managers like you keep the spam in check which I appreciate a lot as well as reporting alt accounts.
5013  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Need Loan for Trading (Partners or Investors) on: March 12, 2020, 12:50:13 PM
I am engaged in trading and at this stage there is a need to increase deposit capitalization.
Just another way of saying that you gone broke.

I have trading system and statistics I need (in real account).
Wut?

A loan of 0.05 - 0.1 btc is required.
You expct someone to give you 600$ worth of money with the full risk? Would you do that in real life too? Ripping people off?

Quote
This loan can also be used as a trade on your account. It does not matter.
Are you asking for a loan or trying to sell an account?

My goal is account capitalization and cooperation.
Stop blabbering incoherent bullshit.

This topic is aimed at finding partners and investors.
You will find better "partners" if you offer something valuable as collateral for your loan.
5014  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Help With Getting Paytm Money on: March 12, 2020, 11:36:49 AM
amnot from india.and i am far from scamming.and how do i scam you yet am giving you money trusting you will exchange it for me for paypal.its good to reason first before punching the keyboard.if anybody want supporting documents i can send though its just $500 .
Stop begging for such deals.

Do you have any prior trade feedback of a successful trade? Paypal is a very risky mode of payment considering the chargeback and because it is a reversible mode of payment. You can easily scam the partner using the chargeback if there was bitcoin used to pay.

If you are not from India you cant even get a Paytm KYC done. Now how do you expect to get transfers done there from user to user? It needs both users to have undergone full KYC.

Your best approach would be to ask the service to accept paypal as payment or use other methods to pay. Without any prior trading feedback anybody doing this trade is at high risk of getting scammed.

5015  Economy / Speculation / Re: Convert or HODL? on: March 12, 2020, 11:32:36 AM
The markets always went against my trades.
Dont let that thought get the better of you. Bad times happen to every trader but it is important to note what went wrong from your side. Panic buying/selling or going FOMO? Not buying the dip or mistiming the order?

Quote
I have no idea why the hell that happens, I may be extremely unlucky. Now I'd rather not trade at all than try my luck, because a simple paper calculus shows how much of a profit I could've made doing nothing and just letting my money sit in BTC..
Long term hodling you mean? Yes that is profitable considering you bought at three digit prices and now the price is obviously more than 10x of the buying price. But then again there is always the good effects of using a 1000$ capital to buy sell daily and keep the money flow coming in. Converting to fiat makes you exit the market temporarily to tide over bitcoin bear scenario.
5016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: March 11, 2020, 09:19:58 AM
Honestly i am not addicted to gambling so i can stop whenever i want.
Very good. I hope you can keep it like that. Most of the gamblers are unable to continue doing so. Make sure you spend time on other stuff too in order to keep your habits in check.

Quote
I gamble once a while when i want to play and when the money that i invest lose i know how to stop playing.
Would suggest you not to consider gambling as an investment. Unless you are investing in the casino's bankroll it is not an investment. If you are playing against the house you are having a lesser odds of making a profit than the house. Thus it will be a loss especially if the game is an EV- one.

For skill based games, maybe if you are a good poker player, it can be your investment or staking someone whom you know.
5017  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty hunters will never learn on: March 11, 2020, 09:13:52 AM
Is this the right place to discuss this problem? I may will be happy if you move it to scam accusation if there is no thread who have been discussing it.
Upto the OP to post it there if they wish too.

Quote
There might just a few bounty huntee who wonted to see the scam accusation thread and they will be spared to promote scam project.
True but we dont see much of them coming to check these sections at all. Their life here is only login-bounty-logout. Grin

Quote
But for those who just open this forum for bounty section only then they will never aware of it. Even, most of them will keep promote the project because they didn't know that the project is scam and it is horrible.
They will come back, like 4months after completion of the promo and spam the bounty thread begging for reward and not reading the posts. Sucks to be these pople.

Quote
I'll be agree if this forum's rule obligate for those bounty hunter even for all user to have an understanding to spot scam project at least they know the basic knowledge to differentiate the legit and scam project.
You cannot help a person who has a flawed insight and does not know how to judge investments. There is nothing called free money here. Anything being given out free will end up being your loss.
5018  Economy / Economics / Re: Help of cryptocurrency in globalization. on: March 11, 2020, 09:09:12 AM
I think OP's title is on the contrary because cryptocurrency is born out of globalization and not that cryptocurrency helps in globalization.
I feel these two different words which do not have any direct correlation. Maybe a single mode of payment unifies people from the globe. So the second phrase is more correct.

Quote
But I think that cryptocurrency is the benefit from globalization because people now adapt to the new or growing financial system from other countries which is cryptocurrency or digital payment system.
There are other digital payment systems too. Bitcoin got its popularity from the price changes that were huge in terms of dollar cost. The there were the bad PR of bitcoin being used to fund wrongdoings, even though fiat has always been used in the same manner.

It is still a long way from globalization and this is a longshot idea but possible.
5019  Economy / Economics / Re: Help of cryptocurrency in globalization. on: March 10, 2020, 05:02:33 AM
cryptocurrency is indeed useful for transactions between countries, with a faster payment process, which means speeding up business processes between the two parties, so that it will speed up the wheels of development. on the other hand using it can be safer if we understand it wisely
Understanding it is not that tough. With time you get to know some of the intricacies of bitcoin and how it works. While this is important for the developers, the merchants don't need much knowledge but they should.

Faster payments is though better with visa and MasterCard but with lightning network we might see better bitcoin usage with fast transfers. Here altcoins often get a pitch because their blockchains often remain less congested. But don't let that concept make you enter too much into altcoins
5020  Economy / Speculation / Re: Convert or HODL? on: March 10, 2020, 04:17:28 AM
I think, because the price of Bitcoin is below $ 8k, it's better to hodl it than to exchange it with stable coins like USDT, but if you dare to speculate it can sell / exchange at current prices, and wait until tomorrow or a few days later until the price of Bitcoin goes back below $ 7500 , you can buy or exchange it again.
Price currently shows a downtrend towards 7k though. If you had fiat to hold this would be a good time to buy based on indicators showing "oversold". Don't know about holding stable coins though, while bear market is going on.

Converting is needed if you want to keep the cash flow going. If you hodl stubbornly then it is your loss only. Recycle the money at the proper points and then use those lots to keep the trading going.
