5001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2021 top and end of year predictions on: March 12, 2021, 01:19:24 AM
Hi,

I was interested to know what you think Bitcoin will peak at this year and what you think the price will be at the end of each year up until 2025

Here's what I think could be a fair estimate:

2021 peak: $95,000

EOY 2021: $65,000
EOY 2022: $100,000
EOY 2023: $150,000
EOY 2024: $300,000
EOY 2025: $500,000

Maybe you will say that I am too much optimism, but I think there is a very good chance that this year ATH will be set at around $200k
The bull run will end at the beginning of next year and we will have 2 years of bear market, i.e. a repeat of the situation from 2018.

That's too much optimistic but it's ok we are in a speculation thread where a lot of speculation can be considered wishful thinking, I would like to be more realistic so I can take action on things before they happen, people are still speculating on the all-time high and mine is $90k, this is a moderate prediction, the best that we can do now is to support the price, it will pay off if we do that now.
5002  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: -=-=- Elon Musk Giveaway email scam -=-=- on: March 09, 2021, 10:40:54 AM
It's good that you did not post the link but obviously, before you can claim the giveaway you have to send them gas fees to claim their giveaway, this is how they do that giveaway, you have to send first, there was a time this was so popular that you can find on Twitter, Youtube they are even hacking channels with millions of subscribers.
It will continue because so many newbies who just came here do not know this trick unless they asked old-timers..
5003  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: What will be the ATH in 2021? on: March 09, 2021, 02:36:28 AM
I am interested to know where you guys think the bitcoin price will go in this bull cycle until the end of 2021?
What will be this year's ATH in US Dollar?

I voted $ 90.001 - $ 100.000 I based my computation on the movement of the market and the fact that Tesla is now supporting and PayPal continuously buying, and I have a belief that there will be more institutions coming in to invest and become part of the community and bull run will continue next year, momentum is great and people have high hopes.
5004  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the FBI wallet with 141,000 bitcoins was stolen what would happen? :o on: March 08, 2021, 11:14:18 PM
There are thousands of bitcoins in the hands of the FBI, how they securely store bitcoin?

At the current price it's worth more than 7 billion dollars!!  Shocked

If the FBI wallet with 141,000 bitcoins was stolen what do you think would happen with the bitcoin price?

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/35hK24tcLEWcgNA4JxpvbkNkoAcDGqQPsP

They should know how to secure their asset, although there is a huge risk of exposing their wallet in the eyes of the public, if ever the wallet was hacked and coins were stolen there could be a huge crash coming if the hacker decides to cash out those Bitcoins, we know FBI they have all the resources to track who hacked their wallet, it will not easy to getaway.
5005  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB every20min|⚡️$3.5 mln Staking pool|⚡️$150K BNB event on: March 08, 2021, 11:03:53 PM

I followed it and all boxes were effective sold out. Low purchase amount with no wagering requirements helps to acquire these boxes  Wink. I was able to obtain all the BNB boxes and will keep on buying these whenever I came.

This is what I like about Betfury, they have no minimum on almost all their features, the bet, and these boxes, so even if you are small players you can have the opportunity to invest, I never missed the opportunity to invest whenever there is a chance to buy one, it's another source of income for players.
5006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 08, 2021, 10:43:27 PM

Same as this is the gambling, more key players are involved with match fixing even after getting huge sum of money after every match winning/losing. Why certain sportsmen have such greed towards money when people are starving to have a single meal on a day.

There's corruption in every industry not only in gambling and in every country where there is a relaxation of the regulations and the authorities and regulators are very easy on corrupt people, but there will also be a syndicate that will bribe the government and sports officials and players to fix the game, it's easy money for them, whenever a favorite player or team losses a game, there's always a hint of corruption.
5007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: March 08, 2021, 03:36:53 AM
Most of the projects recently launching Binance Smart chain plafrorm due the high exessive Ethereum network fees.

Even if they want to, circumstances are not favorable, the bounty distribution alone will cost them a lot, and Binance Chain is also as good as the Ethereum chain, cheap fast, and managed by one of the industry leaders in Cryptocurrency, Ethereum is losing momentum and BINANCE is gaining a lot of users of their chain.

5008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 5k to invest, should I buy Ripple or Litecoin? I do not want to hold on: March 07, 2021, 11:53:14 AM
Ripple could really go up if they settle with the SEC over their lawsuit. But it's a big IF and I wouldn't gamble like that with $ 5k.
There are other cryptos that would be much better long term investments in my opinion.

Of the two, I would opt for Litecoin.

Because of their issue with SEC, they are not a good and safe choice, but if that issue is not existing I could pick Ripple easily, Ripple could have reached $1 to $5 if not for the SEC issues if you have an appetite for high-risk investment, pick Ripple it's a better choice than a new coin if only I can figure out if they can win their case I will buy because if the court favors them they will have a huge pump, the biggest pump ever.
5009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: March 07, 2021, 11:45:09 AM

2 of the boxers he beat that are still active now and a champion on their own division.

1-Manny Pacquiao
2- Canelo Alvarez.

Mayweather beat them by unanimous decision and look how good these two are now, so I can say Mayweather is smart.. about saying that no one can knock him out, I'm just exaggerating.  Smiley

This is why he has a huge ego he has beaten two of the best active boxers, and we should give him credit for that, but on coming back to fight boxers at the present generation I doubt if he has a good chance, he has a long lay off and I have doubt if he still has it at his age.
5010  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tim Draper: Netflix will be the next one to fall on: March 07, 2021, 09:20:16 AM

why not. netflix came out to be a playful and creative company. it's not going to be surprising for Netflix to have an option which BTC users can pay for a subscription. it's a very unpredictable turn of events which netflix came out to digitalize everything instead when the other side of the world are still building cinemas. CDs and storage had become outdated because of netflix.

My family is a long time Netflix subscriber, in case they invest and accept Bitcoin or any other Cryptocurrency it's going to be a piece of welcome news,  Netflix has a huge number of subscribers that's another big leap for Bitcoin, but we need a full confirmation that they are indeed going to adopt and invest in Cryptocurrency.
5011  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not "COVID" vaccine passports on a blockchain ID on: March 07, 2021, 08:56:27 AM
As far as I can remember, there are several projects who already did this (or at least claimed that they're working on blockchain-based COVID passports). ID2020 might be the latest one that I know, they're working with some DPoS blockchain project if I recall correctly.

Pretty sure they won't use Bitcoin or Ethereum network since the cost might be way too much.

The world needs something like this while the vaccination is still ongoing, so we have a database of people who got vaccinated, this will not be the last virus or pandemic that we are going to encounter, and by having this we have something in place already, maybe fifty years from now we will encounter another new virus that will set up a new pandemic, we are in a modern era we should make something easy for the next generation.
5012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 40000USD to 1000000USD within just one year? on: March 07, 2021, 02:55:33 AM
Hi guys, I am curious if anyone was able to turn  40000USD (or simmilar) in to the 1000000USD within one year? And would it be possible to do it within this year?

If you have a high-risk behavior yes it's possible, but not guaranteed, and it can only possible if we are in a bull run and since we are you just have to trace coins with good potential, it will help if you have an update on coins that you are pouring in your money, new projects with a good platform and potential are the one that will give you that possible profit
5013  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: March 07, 2021, 02:43:43 AM
I voted
Quote
He is mentally unwell and is need of professional help
even if there are 1000 voters they will vote the same option we did
I guess based on what he is showing and what he is talking we can easily tell that he needs a professional who can get him out from the bad memory of losing to Fury it really haunts him.
5014  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: March 06, 2021, 01:24:51 PM
How would you define what is to be "rich"? Is it about having enough for living or is there something else that you would be looking to accomplish to be rich?
Is it 1 million USD? Is it 1000 bitcoin? what are your thoughts?

Rich for me is having just enough for a simple living, I know that greed is part of our being human, and if we cannot moderate our greed,  much will never be enough, I prefer to have my own house and car and a small business that can sustain my family, I have seen rich people who just can't get enough and want more and they think that they are still poor, I don't want to in that cycle.
5015  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining with Shamining on: March 06, 2021, 03:09:17 AM
Can anyone tell me anything about Shamining.com, a cloud mining site?
The last time I invest in a cloud mining site was 5 years ago when difficulty was still low, and Bitcoin was still low, there was a cloud mining hype that time and so many people are into it, all my friends in Crypto are on it, invested big until the cloud mining industry was exposed there's really no mining rigs all are fake and it was all a Ponzi Scheme, we are in a different time it's hard for a cloud mining to sustain itself now.
5016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I saw threads coming up when BNB reach the top 3. on: March 06, 2021, 02:50:47 AM
assuming DeFi will keep going on until next year, there is a high chance for BNB to keep rising.
It is possible that BNB seems to keep rising along with the improvement in Defi. Moreover, if BSC can compete with the Ethereum platform. BNB coin may get the impacts of this competition. On the other hand, BNB already becomes one of the most favorite coins now, it will be easier for BNB to continue rising up in the future.

Ada is a promising coin, but I still believe that BNB can still recover the third position and the price continues to rise, we are in a DeFi hype and Binance is on the right timing implementing their DeFi projects, my favorite gambling site Betfury has just added BNB in among their rewards in their staking feature, soon many gambling sites will add BNB.
5017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Doge FORK to SuperDoge on: March 05, 2021, 04:49:21 AM
Why pick April 1 as the fork date, of all the date in the calendar I consider April 1 as the day when people are making a fool of everyone, last year if I remember I log in here in Bitcoin and got a notification that I need to do KYC, which turn out to be a joke as April 1 is April fool's day, people might think that you are not this serious.
5018  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 05, 2021, 04:15:24 AM

I am thinking with how people is, is there a way possible for everyone to live without being poor, though their can be hierarchy but in a way no one is poor? But I am thinking it is not possible. If anything happens today that the poor are richer and got richer than the rich people, the rich people will become poor too because life is not just balance.

Economically, can there be a way people can live and no one will be poor?

It's not possible, we can never eradicate poor people and poor living, but there is a place where everybody is poor and only a few are rich and that is North Korea, we can never be equal to each other, some countries try to implement equality and they failed miserably because we are never created equally, so can never have equally, we are human and we see the weakness and strength of others, and wants to be powerful and have more than the others.

5019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: March 04, 2021, 01:54:55 PM

Uh, no. By becoming member of idena, you are validating your identity in anonymous (non-KYC) way. By validating yourself, you prove to the idena network that you are unique person and with that you can run your own idena node and receive rewards.

Idena is really unique the only one with this kind of algo, there are so many changes and so many new features implemented, it's much easier to pass validation now, compared to a year ago, I'm still hoping that it can get listed in a much better exchange like Kucoin or Binance, so it gets the attention, it deserves to be in a good position in the market.
5020  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB every20min|⚡️$3.5 mln Staking pool|⚡️$150K BNB event on: March 04, 2021, 01:43:20 PM

Listing on binance is quite hard since there are successful tokens/coins still didn't land there, but supporters shouldn't lose hope for that since provably that's the target but for now dev can select to add this to decent exchange where the requirement for listing is not so technical. But I think not the token circulation is needed to work them out but instead on how they can make their token useful so that the holders may have an options on how they can use their tokens.

It doesn't have to be Binance on its first listing, we can go to tier 2 exchange this is to test the demand of the token, and once the volume builds up, then Binance will be the next target, members are speculating if we have one exchange, will see how high is the demand, it can even attract traders, once they see the potential.
