how is cloudminr.io a scam ?  I purchased ghs with them so i would really like to know . customer support always answers questions i have sent them .

Every ponzi do it. It is mostly a scam because it isn't providing legit-proofs about their mining. They didn't publish a block solved by them. Take a look at PBMining and you will know what we're telling.

As there is no center to Bitcoin, I am sure it will be all around the Internet and the world! I don't think it would be moved to a particular place. Grin

5024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I get rid of dust in my wallet? on: February 20, 2015, 05:55:30 PM
Maybe just keep that wallet only for the faucet-related activities?
I wouldn't use my main address to gamble around.

Most of them doesn't do it to save mBTC but what you suggested wouldn't solve the *dust-problem*.

Well maybe not, 1 gridseed stopped working after 1 share.  Still better than 0 lol.  I'll keep toying around, baffling.

Good news! 1 gridseed is not running on mine. Anybody know what's the reason? I thought it was for me only, some problem in the hardware, wires etc... and that's why I didn't ask here. @romeshomey: Thanks for posting here.

5026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone tell me which is the most secure of the offline wallets? on: February 20, 2015, 05:51:45 PM
Some other options besides are fireproof wallets:

http://cryptocards.co/

Plenty of options to secure your offline stash.

These are nice!
Cool idea to have you're public address in a card and simply put it on your wallet, I always have it on my phone but it's stressful when the battery dies.

It's cool to have your public key printed/carved on to something which looks good but it is bad idea to have a private key there.

5027  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 20, 2015, 05:39:48 PM
What do people think of weekly, automated payments to your bit-x account deposit address?

Fees will be reduced within the next month and email signups will also be allowed from what I have been told.

No problem from my side. Automatic withdraw?

But the withdraw manually confirmed first and then processed which is littlebit slow?

5028  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone help me setting up a faucet ? on: February 20, 2015, 05:38:28 PM
As many suggested, FaucetBox.
But if you are a developer I'd try to build your own independently, have total control and no fees.

You mean setting up a Bitcoin core? Probably not. You can also use Elbandi faucet script.

U sure i will interested !
Any hidden fee ! Or you just making it for coz you gain traffic ?

No hidden fee. You just have to maintain it. You will have full control over the Admin panel. I tried it and was great and he is friendly and professional.

For example : he setted up everything fir me ! I put likr 0.01 a day for faucet to keep its alive ! How i gain money ? I mean from adsense ? But adsense earnings will be sent to him !

Adsense earnings will be sent to the account you use to make the ads appear on the site!

Yes he is right! To clear this doubt, I said "you will have fill control over admin panel".

5035  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Sending Fee Question on: February 20, 2015, 05:18:12 PM
From the gambling site's point of view, do they really monitor transaction fees included in transactions?

No.

My guess is they will just process the bitcoins received. I don't see why transaction fees included by you should have a role to play.

Yes. It will help the TX confirm faster and also will help the miners.

I am still struggling to figure out why I can't get all of my ASICS to hash using bfgminer.

The issue isn't with the gridseeds themselves, its something else and I can't pinpoint the issue.  No matter how many ASICS I have hooked up, there is always one that doesn't do any work in the miner.  It is never the same one, everytime I start an instance of bfgminer its a different device that won't do work.

If I hooked up 1-2 ASICS, both work.  If I hook up 3, only 2 work.  If I hook up 4, only 3 work, and etc.

If I start each ASIC in its own instance of bfgminer, same thing, there is always one that doesn't do any work.

Here are a couple of screen shots of what I am struggling with.

Also, if I run my gridseeds and blizzards in the same instance, then there is 2 devices that won't do any work.

Here is my .bat config for both.

With the below all but 1 device will do work.
bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.com:PORT -u user.name -p pass -S gridseed:all --set gridseed:clock=850

Running gridseeds and blizzards in the same instance, 2 devices won't do work.
bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.com:PORT -u user.name -p pass -S gridseed:all -S zeusminer:\\.\COM8 -S zeusminer:\\.\COM9 --set gridseed:clock=850 --set zeusminer:clock=340 --set zeusminer:chips=128

This happens for me too. I suggest using 835 instead of 850 as clock speed for better stability.

5039  Other / Meta / Re: [REQUEST] Please extend maximum lenght for hero/legendary member signatures. on: February 20, 2015, 04:14:27 PM
Images in signatures is disallowed for a reason, it becomes a mess and an annoyance to look at. The forum used to allow images in signatures but, removed the ability to put a new image in your signature in 2011/early 2012.

I believe, if users had a image prior to it being disabled, they may still have them in their signatures. That was the case then, I'm not sure if this has been changed or moderated since. If you want a image in your signature, have a direct link to the image. That way people can decide whether they want to look at it or not.

I know the majority of the users on this forum probably disagree and would like to have images, but it doesn't add much of a benefit of having them.

I understand but wouldn't it not be a bad idea if it has size restrictions and also I would like to see something like this(for every links or atleast hyperlinks/embedded-links):

Luckily simple Bitcoin txs are actually quite small so the cam doesn't even need to be that good (I used one from the 90's for initial testing and it worked fine - it only struggled with GPG keys as they are much bigger - which is why I split the encrypted GPG private key into two QR codes).

CIYAM Safe uses GPG so that you can also safely "back up" your offline private keys (using QR codes of course).

That would be awesome! I will try it and post about it here(if possible). Thanks once again.
