5022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time for us to get back to trading? on: May 24, 2020, 12:32:22 AM
Some days I have seen price movements in the market some altcoins have moved again to raise their prices higher, whether the market price movements especially for altcoin have started to improve, because some traders of course still have a lot of trauma to return to trade, because there may be a lot of losses from a number of traders who have experienced a very deep decline, and for example we did not return to start trading, when else can our losses recover soon, I ask for advice and opinions with the big traders here?

Are you talking about altcoin traders who got burned 2018-2019? I do believed that they really leave, specially beginners who thought that it is very easy to make money in altcoin, just throw some money and wait, but it wasn't the case because we have witnessed the bear market already.

But for those experience traders, nothing has change, they continue to trade despite the bearish trend and squeeze some money out of it. My advise is just continue to trade though, but this time educate yourself, for beginners it will be a daunting task again, but everyone starts at zero here, no shortcut. Rebuild your portfolio and adapt to the changing environment.
5023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 23, 2020, 11:49:15 PM
Nick Kyrgios seems to like to provoke Djokovic.
In Instagram live with Andy Murray, Kyrgios told Murray that in his opinion, he is a better player than Djokovic.
''Djokovic couldn't return my services well, and you returned even my winners. He (Djokovic) was running away from my service''  Cheesy
Source: https://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/kyrgios-ne-pusta-djokovica-na-miru-bolji-si-od-novaka-on-je-bjezao-od-mog-servisa/2183535.aspx

Those two have a history between them, but Djokovic doesn't want to ride those news, and even in one of his interviews, pre-Covid 19, he thinks that Nick is a nice guy. So I doubt that Djokovic will official response to the latest tirade of Nick in this pandemic. Maybe Nick is just bored during his lock down or he really just making fun when he says that. That is very typical of him anyway, it's like he always wanted to get some attention. And to be fair, it was only Djokovic that he publicly critize, even Nadal and Federer has their fair share of attacks from Nick as well.

Yeah as we all know Nick always likes to do this, for some I know they don't like it but for me it adds more entertainment for the sport having players like this. He does seem to be an attention seeker but then again I think that's just how he is.

Well Europe looks to be opening up with many countries coming out of lockdown so maybe soon we'll see some top ranked tennis being played but most likely with no crowds for now.

Nick is like a big kid, always looking for the attention of others, a big immature kid.
His natural talent for tennis is great, but due to his immaturity and character, unfortunately, he will never become what he was supposed to be, the natural heir of the great trinity, Federer, Djokovic and Nadal.

I tend to agree with you as Kyrgios does have the talent to become a great player but like you say he is immature and every time we think he has turned a corner and looks like he has matured he goes and does something stupid. As an Australian I do hope that one day he at least wins a grand slam but I'm not counting on it.

Yeah, I think the right term is immature, we don't know, maybe he was like this when he was still a child and build this sort of bad boy persona in tennis. Love him or hate him, that is Nick. Just like Floyd Mayweather of boxing or UFC's Conor McGregor, but the difference is that those two can back it up and is a winner, but Nick haven't had any Grand Slam win under this belt.

And when everything is settling down, another shocking revelation from him, Nick Kyrgios openly admits he sleeps with his fans 'on a weekly basis' when single.
5024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: May 23, 2020, 02:47:49 AM
If I may add, usually those beginners really thinks it is easy to profit here and enter trading without proper knowledge of how everything works. You have to think that you are playing with real money here, so everyone needs to be very careful and learn the system first before venturing. Because if you get inside trading, you will be suckered and will loss everything in just a blink of an eye. There are too many advises floating around, but the simplest way to avoid this mistakes is just educate yourself first. And then grow as you gain experienced. There are no shortcuts here, you need to spend a lot of your time and money to be a successful trader in the future.
5025  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-05] Satoshi Nakamoto Revealed: Stylometry & Bootstrapping Proof, Claims on: May 23, 2020, 01:30:36 AM
Yea, this is the same guy who were stupid enough to validate Craig Wright's proof that he was supposed to be Satoshi and he never considered that his Peers will challenge his findings and expose him as a fool. I think these were some of the actions that led to him losing his commit privileges.

Nope, these Roger Ver minions must try another strategy to pump new interests into their Fool's Gold.

It sucks that this forum havent a feature on blocking up Rogershits website and now here we go again reading up another claim and its not surprising that there would be still more possible personalities
would do the same.

By the way i do actually laugh on that Signed message above. lol

No. no.. Do not block anything that they post, because that is how all this shit started. Roger Ver wanted people to move away from this forum and he fabricated a scenario where they claimed that posts were censored on this forum and then he created his own forum and loads of people flocked to his platform. <Mostly the Bitcoin XT butthurt crowd at the time>

This provided Roger Ver the audience to hype the Bitcoin Cash fork and to pump the price.  Roll Eyes

Let them continue spreading fud like this, because that exposes the underbelly of the beast that is BCash.  Grin

Yes, I agree, sometimes we really need a way to break out of this Covid-19 boredom and laugh, so let Roger or Faketoshi puppets come in this community and make some statement about their claims. And it's really funny to see them being trolled in this community. Smiley

On a serious note, Is Bitcoin Creator Dead on Covid-19?  Grin

5027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Games on: May 22, 2020, 02:08:15 AM
Among the list for me the most is the Blackjack is much excitement, why? Because it is not fast paced compare to dice game (normal dice game) and that it can take few seconds to finish. While blackjack, you can decide if you want to hit or deal another card or stay which your current card will be final.
It's excitement for me since you have the decision stage for every deal, unless you immediately got 21.

I think any card game will be exciting like baccarat or blackjack. Just imagine having a streak of wins in a table, I'm sure everyone are very happy about those successive hits. And for the rest of the options, it is somewhat a repetitive games, so I don't think it will be as much as exciting as a card game because you will just have to click over and over again, or if you are using a bot, then just completely staring at the screen, so there's no fun in it.
5028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New documentary: Bitcoin Revolution in Africa on: May 22, 2020, 01:34:47 AM
It's a good thing to see a documentary on bitcoin revolution in Africa. From what I have seen bitcoin will help Africa grow financially because so many people lost interest in Africa when the credit card scam was recorded to come a lot from African countries. Now bitcoin is here I think people will trust having deals with African's at least we can entrust everything on escrow.

How can it possibly help only Africa ? I think Africa is even behind from early adopters or investors from other continent.

Those who sold their bitcoin for exchange of pizza are not in Africa I guess.
Those who bought at the early stage when price was still in satoshi are not in Africa I guess.
Those who bought when price was just climbing to few hundred of dollars are not in Africa too I guess.

True, however, you should understand where the continent is coming from.

Therefore, Africans are late adopters and even at the moment, I believe Africans who have few bitcoins are those in this forum and maybe acquired from signature campaign (maybe). The real African investors are just getting to know about it or are still preparing to make their minds up to invest in it while price keep moving up (of course it won't wait for nobody).

Isn't it that is the goal of every investors tough? Not just in Africa, but average Joe has that mentality to invest and wait for the price to go up and make profit.

This means for me, if price stays at what it is and we don't see a new ATH, bitcoin won't help Africa or any other person who buys and only hodls, in expectation of an increase. Because talking about helping or profiting, we have to see a considerable difference in hodling price or cost and actual price at a certain time.

Maybe Africans should hope for a new ATH therefore    Grin

You have to look at the bright side. Africa is a huge continue, just imagine them using Bitcoin for the first time to create the next Bitcoin revolution? I think this is the intention of this documentary. Although there is a big barrier for Bitcoin to really grow in that continent (because of corruption or the ground work like Internet), but sooner or later there is a possibility that Bitcoin or crypto could explode in the next coming years.
5029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The low risky way to hold Bitcoin. Buy Bitcoin now, i can't wait anymore on: May 22, 2020, 01:07:34 AM
I would agree that everyone should buy Bitcoin specially today that the price is going down. But if I may just add, it's easy to buy, but do you have the mental toughness to go long? That's the question that everyone should understand, because it takes a lot of psychology behind being a holder. How will you react if you see your portfolio going down? As for the strategy, well if the OP thinks this is best strategy, then we can't argue and it looks like he laid it down nicely.
5030  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto's economic value is surprisingly low :'( on: May 20, 2020, 05:29:20 AM
Cryptocurrency though is still very young, that's why if we are going to compare it to let's say stock market, it is still like a 'dot'. So it is too early to say, perhaps in the next 10-20 years, we will have a good grasp as how big (or small) this market will be. What can we do to push this percentage up? Social media has something to do with it, if they keep on calling and bashing bitcoin then it will have a hard time getting traction, so for me they play a big factor. Of course there is the government, and for some reason, is trying to regulate everything in crypto, including KYC and other measures that can deter our growth. I guess when crypto mature and so it's adoption, it will be a slow process, but definitely, people will find in usefulness and the positive things in can bring to them financially, so crypto doesn't necessarily need some marketing, it will become big naturally..
5031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some Interesting pump in BTC on: May 20, 2020, 04:51:11 AM
After the halving the price of BTC has increased now from the past few hours is this a bull effect???

No, this is not a bull run per se. Probably it's just a rush to squeeze to make a good profit after the halving.

I think big business fortunes are buying more BTC now because the entire global market has been crashed right now so they filling the bags by buying BTC and making it demand..

Big business are wise enough not to invest when the price is on top. If anything they do here, is to invest when the price is way below to make more money for them. So I guess they have been filing their bags when the price is like around $3000-$5000 and not close to five digits.

This crypto market is always been a twist, to be it seems like the price might reach $12k in couple of weeks. Guys share your thoughts.

Well $12000 is really good, but if he hit that price very quick, then it is very not organic increase unless there is a good news to really push that price to that level.
5032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Physical Gambling Casino Simulation through GTA V on: May 20, 2020, 02:10:32 AM
I don't think that anything can replace the atmosphere you get from playing in a physical casino. And even I would agree that this is somewhat the closest that you can get-and-feel of playing in a land base casino, I will still not play for it. Maybe for a old and traditional physical casino player like me still wanted to get the ambience of people around you, someone serving you drinks, talking to fellow gamblers you even don't know, putting your money in a slot machine, withdrawing it, going to cashier to encash it. There's a lot of missing pieces here, at least for me.

5034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isnt a problem if China has 68% of the hashrate? on: May 19, 2020, 11:56:45 PM
I will point you to an old thread, Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin?.
-snip-
If you are suggesting a mega-thread, please summarize that thread first and include it in your suggestion post.

My point is that this has been discussed many times already. I have said my piece, it's not worth a try.

-snip-
You just have to understand the money and resources involved pulling it off and what incentives the bad actors doing a 51% attack, it's not worth a try.
It's not worth it for now, but what if it happens in the future where bitcoin cant be mined anymore or when the bitcoin block reward is already too small and makes the bitcoin network difficulty becomes so low?

You talking about 2140? Again, why not look at the current circulating supply? We are closer to that 'almost all bitcoin have been mined", specially in the next 3 halvings: 2024 , 2028 , 2032. 1.5625 Bitcoin for Block ->225 Bitcoin every day. So it will be really costly to try and pull this 51% attack.
5035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Charts Hint at the Most Exciting Breakout in Over a Year. on: May 19, 2020, 02:08:28 AM
Added to the OP:

Reading chart signals is an Art and not a Science. Looking at the fundamentals for BTC you could not get more Bullish than having the USA government creating Trillions in new fiat out of very thin air. People who are waiting now (for example) will probably still be waiting at ~$10,500 to see if the breakout is real this time, and later buying at a much higher price, right as the market is about to short-term crash.

That's the basis and fundamental way Bitcoin moves, support and resistance, -10% dump followed by 20% increase, so there's nothing new.

Now the market has traders trained to sell in the area of $10K since it worked so many times before. We are due for a major plot twist.

Yes, that a big psychology when the price hits $10,000 as traders might sell and to take profits. And then the dump will follow by an increase again. Its just a matter of time when are we going to hit the five digit, could be the end of the month.

Isnt a problem if China has 68% of the hashrate?

Couldnt China do a 51% percent attack?

I will point you to an old thread, Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin?.

Are you talking about China, their government performing a 51% attack? Or some mining pools?
You just have to understand the money and resources involved pulling it off and what incentives the bad actors doing a 51% attack, it's not worth a try.
5037  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Get paid for browsing and uploading content - Payd, new mobile Social Network on: May 19, 2020, 12:16:21 AM
I agree with @SFR10, $50 just to be able to withdraw? That is too high specially that you are new in the market. And it also depends on how people are going to earn in your platform. So it looks like this is a winnable position to you. Users who get bored and tired and not reaching $50 will simply go away and move to other platform that offer less withdrawal amount. And what happens to their hard work? It's your that are going to win.
5038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Betting this June? on: May 18, 2020, 11:37:52 PM

Some update on the Top Rank's plan this June.

Magdaleno, Pedraza Fights in Works For Top Rank Cards in June

A lot of fights to wait next month, this is good for boxing and Arum as a promoter really started it, I was wondering if he is the most popular and the most influenced promoter in the world of boxing?

I would say yes, he has been in the business for many years now, and even Don King in the 80's for the top spot. And we all know that he is capable of staging big scale fights, super fights. But I wouldn't say that he is the most popular, we all know the controversies behind Oscar Dela Hoya and Floyd Mayweather and so a certain extent Manny Pacquaio. He ties to many people, even a close friend to billionaire and casino magnate Sheldon Anderson of Las Vegas Sands Corporation. So if there is someone that can get things done in this pandemic, it will be Arum.
5039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and btc evolution. Support zone, supply and demand. on: May 18, 2020, 11:03:11 PM
I think there's no model that will fit bitcoin's price in the next coming years, it could be $1 million or $1. The market is fairly young, data sets to used to predict the future as compare to traditional market like stocks. Even those so-called experts can be wrong, what they are doing is making a wild and educated guess. So it is better to really see it mature first in the next 10 years, remember that bitcoin is a speculative asset and everything is base on supply and demand. So obviously when the demand skyrocketed then the price will increase X fold.
