5041  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PH Senatorial Election Betting thread on: April 06, 2019, 11:36:43 AM
Mukhang maganda din tong election betting for the senators. And I agree dun sa may suggestion ni mirakal na .001 or .002 BTC. Since 13th of May ang election may time ka pa OP to fix the criteria or the mechanics of the game.
Well, that's a good idea here and I agree also with that prediction entry fee 0.001BTC and then if who predicted right will receive all the fund. Tama yung may nag sabi "lucky winner take all".

OP, umpisahan mo na sayang yung oras and then you may lock this thread. Para maraming activity local natin. Cheesy
5042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Khan on: April 06, 2019, 09:59:42 AM
If Crawford wins impressively, then Crawford vs Spence could happen. But it's going to be difficult to negotiate as both have different managers who hate's each other, Crawford - Bob Arum while Spence is under Al Haymon. It's gonna be like Pacquiao and Mayweather again, it took years before they can finally agreed to fight.
We won't know. Khan was there and kept being a fight that is unpredictable. Khan is like Pacquaio who is very humble and unpredictable. Khan is a really likable guy when he's not talking about brook or Mayweather and I like it so much. This would be Bud Crawford's biggest test to date. Win or lose, Amir will always be a champion for taking some of the biggest risks in the sport of boxing unlike majority of the fighters now in days. I disagree Khan has no Chin. Any boxer that gets hit flush on the chin will go down. Khans problem is he gets hit on the chin too much.
5043  Economy / Economics / Re: why are you sure the bitcoin will be make economic freedom? on: April 06, 2019, 09:40:13 AM
Most of the people see Bitcoin as a profitable platform. That is the reason why some of the people see Bitcoin as unconvincing one since the people who pioneers it is like selling it to those. Who else here wanted to be asked by a seller to buy a product? Noone else! So the only thing we need to do to convince people that Bitcoin is really a need for them, we have to show them compassion and never expect that we will earn from their participation.
5044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bad Faith in the Gambling Ecosystem on: April 06, 2019, 07:30:42 AM
Gambling sites will always be there. We have to expect that gambling is seen as wrong stuff but you don't have to worry about it then.
Imagine you own a company,  what should you do to own profits? Strategies. Fake reviews, fake users and fake winning rate are the strategies that were proven and effective to catch people and earn profits. If it's a false accusation, nothing will be held. You can still keep what you have and that is the end of the story.

5046  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Troll sent tx's with message "Child Porn" during 2012-2014 (check ur addresses) on: April 06, 2019, 05:54:54 AM
So 1CPxxxZkKeBYDgvX7pmiUZnMRxqELFV7Yb is one of the addresses. The question is: how I am supposed to send screenshot to tax authorities when I have a transaction that says "child porn"? This is crazy.

1CPxxxZkKeBYDgvX7pmiUZnMRxqELFV7Yb --> I didn't see anything or I have a sign of aging eyes.

I can see that you are too innocent to be paranoid with this. Well if you will show it to the authority, you do not need to prove that you are innocent. They could track it. But if you have something to hide from them, they will also know it. Bitcoin was used for illegal activities before and now so what do we need to expect? However, you do not need to prove that you are innocent because these transactions happened multiple times and that is enough for them to know that you are an innocent.
5047  Economy / Economics / Re: France, Spain and Belgium Ready For Hard Brexit on: April 06, 2019, 05:21:40 AM
Honestly, I see the Brexit as a personal issue that would affect a lot of people. But I was also convinced that the reason why they are leaving the European Union because they knew something they can't even publish to their people. It's either they were caught by a trap or they do not agree with someone on the board that would affect their country. We won't know unless it is already shown. But let us just wait for the upcoming events because those events are really critical.
5048  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I SUE A Crypto Ponzi PROMOTER? on: April 06, 2019, 04:37:36 AM
You know what? Don't get offended but your arguments against them are nonsense. You have stated that you were convinced by them. The question is why?

Let's look at their argument first.

You knew about the Crypto Ponzi Scheme Platform but you were convinced? You knew that everything doesn't grow over time but you were catched with the trap of 10%+ a month in ROI?
You knew that they don't own the platform yet you are using them because of convincing you?

Let's move to your Argument.

You knew that they didn't have a financial service license, but you were convinced. Why?
You know that they didn't have a registered company yet you were convinced. Why?

Answer these questions and get a lawyer.
5049  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Old bitcoin history: @johoe return 870 BTC to the owners on: April 06, 2019, 04:22:34 AM
I don't think a VIP status would be appropriate based on that recognition was made for donations which he isn't one.
Hal gets a free VIP rank. [Do I need to move this topic to meta board?]

Hal got free VIP rank because he contribute to the development and he has done some great writing on this forum. Not sure if johoe could get the same treatment but I do agree he needs some sort of appreciation (he got trust already). I think as long as community members agree on it, or if theymos feels okay to do so, then that status will come sooner or later.
I also having curious on this.
Ain't know what is the point of giving him a VIP status. He already earned the trust of the community and that would be enough.

However, if Theymos would give him the recognition and treatment, he deserves it and what we can only do is to be more than happy with that. VIP rank is not necessary to recognize one's good deeds. Respect is enough for him to be happy and feel appreciated.

But yes, some people who made this kind of deeds with very simple and small amount were actually appreciated and recognized, so he really deserved to be recognized as well.
5050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will Bitcoin survive after all 21M coins have been mined? on: April 06, 2019, 03:27:30 AM
Bitcoin will definitely stay as it is today. Miners will always stay as long as the incentives are nice. If not, those who are passionate about it will stay and the people who don't have benefits will leave. Some of the people know that every industry has bearish times. If the demand is low today, then tomorrow will be the sunshine. If the demand is high, enjoy and make sure to get ready for future struggles.
Meanwhile, the essence of the bullish market will come.

Bitcoin will survive no matter what since it was actually proven. Bitcoin will stay as the King of all cryptocurrency.
5051  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should cats be culled to stop extinctions? on: April 06, 2019, 03:05:39 AM
From what I believe culling the animals will drastically drop the chance of said species to go extinct but it raises a question if it is a moral thing to do.
Neutering the animals is also a good thing because it lowers the birthrate but they are still capable of hunting endangered species around the island.
Since the human decided before that they wanted these kinds of animals, it was this choice to choose invasive animals rather than the others. What I mean about the "others" are the animals the human see before as useless. Since they were useless, they weren't chosen to be a possession of the humans. Ended up them being prey of the chosen and useful.

Now, we can see that the other animals the humans did not choose before is getting endangered and been the prey of what we chose.

Culling the animals we have chosen is somehow a good idea to stop them preying the endangered. However, for those who are a pro with this would have the struggle to convince the people who are very enthusiastic with their pets. They also deserve to live but what we do need to change here is the way they are kept and trained.

5053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is downloading money into your PC on: April 05, 2019, 11:59:42 PM
If this is what OP means that is an analogy regarding crypto related stuff that is must be downloaded on our PC or laptop just like a wallet. As I have understood of OP thought is why not we did not download that we can make money rather than we downloaded those stuff that we won't earn. Well, every one of us has like and dislike, if you are a fan on music and something that can entertain you, of course, you've to choose music and video that makes you entertained well.

Well, not bad if you have to choose to download something profitable or having mining on your PC, or wallet where you can receive Bitcoin on other cryptos that make you money. That's what OP called Bitcoin downloading money into your PC.
5054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dice - why do you play in a particular casino? on: April 05, 2019, 11:31:31 PM
KYC is definitely annoying to most gamblers because we're talking about people private information here and most gamblers like anonymity but I dont see any reason why KYC wont stop gamblers from enjoying the game since the KYC was not ask by all site. Besides, KYC are usually ask if huge winning is involve and the last time I checked the KYC issue will only minimize gambling site player.
That's right I also go on this that KYC is very annoying but I think it rarely happens casino site having KYC, especially in dice gambling site. No one gamblers now like that KYC/AML majority they want a hidden identity.
I am particular on site that really cool UI that harmful in my eyes, usually those likely in dark mode. Then having a great community where to have a chatbox and of course free sats from the faucet. These characteristics have a gambling site for sure a lot of gamblers who wanted first to try their luck and then come back and have serious gambling.
5055  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: April 05, 2019, 07:12:07 PM
.. members of the ICO bounty company should have nothing to do with KYC verification at all.
You have nothing to do just obey or avoid KYC implementation that acute incident and the majority of ICO bounty company are implementing now KYC especially those exchange platform. Maybe let's accept the fact that nowadays we need to pass KYC/AML just for our own security and the company as well, they are implemented to reduce cybercrime such as fraudulent, scamming and others that involve money and to become to protect both parties from any possible scanning happen.
5056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash having nices days! on: April 05, 2019, 03:33:46 PM
what happened was very simple and very common. bitcoin price went up about 30% and altcoins got dumped around 10% to 20% and that difference showed up in their USD value as "rise" so people thought they were also rising.
When Bitcoin price raising up altcoins also should be swinging their price either it will pump or dump because of the dollar price. However, we could not blame people of what they are thinking regarding the price sudden raising up. Because we all hoping that the price of bitcoin become bullish in the market and now we feel the presence of a bullish trend.

No doubt with BCH that it has the potential to have a profitable coin someday like Ethereum.
5057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still experiencing the bearish market? on: April 05, 2019, 01:39:03 PM
We are already reached the bottomed of the bearish market last year when it drops almost 2k dollars it seems like we broke the barrier of the wall in a bearish market and we are now starting the rally in a bullish trend. However, the market is unpredictable we should wait when the resistance and it might this small surge of bitcoin price might a normal hype which is probably caused by whales.
