Sie haben die BTC doch gar nicht in ihrem besitz? So wie ich das verstanden habe, kann blockchain.info in keinem Fall auf unsere Funds zugreifen!

I had a similar story as joesmoe. But within the EU part of gox.
I requested a withdrawal for middlish 4digit sum, about 8 weeks ago.
Mt.gox said many times when i made a ticket, that the funds would come "soon" and said:
5 weeks ago: "in about 2 weeks" 4 weeks ago: "due to a huge backlog more than 2 weeks" 2 weeks ago: "in the next 4 weeks"
fuck them.
1 week ago i requested to cancel my withdrawal. (there is no 5% emergency fee afaik)
Then i waited for the market to reach parity or close to parity with bitstamp. When that happend i just bought bitcoins and wanted to sell em asap.
BUT..... Gox fucked me again. (knew i wouldn't be so easy of the hook). I requested a BTC withdrawal and suddenly the TXID was not found anywhere. And support just didn't help me at all. They said it can take up to 24h because of my pc. (LOL) yeah so blockchain.info fucked up, right, not them. Then 32 hours later the funds came and i sold with a small prifit because of rising prices.
Then today this beauty came: (7 fking days after the incident)
Eiden, Nov 12 09:33 (JST):
Hello,
Thank you for the email. Sorry for the delay in responding. On checking this further we find that your BTC withdrawal has been processed from our end. Please check this link:

Two things;
-TradeFortress owes his customers principal + interest. He can't just pretend interest didn't happen in his calculations.
-If CoinLenders users would like to give up the interest they accrued to Inputs.io users that is their decision when they are paid back, but if TradeFortress does it, that is theft.
Agreed! you guys are funny. You realize that it isn't even sure that you will get your principal without a cut? What exactely do you imply? If he had the money to fully reimburse us, he would probably do so, but as he cant he has to make a point where he has to distribute losses...

Nobody's taking all of my fiat for a reasonable interest rate, because, well, how to do leveraged trading if there's not even enough money on stamp for non-leveraged buying.
Hm, it's 4:1 again and people are putting up demands for loans around 200%... that's about back to where it was before the reduction in leverage, right? Well, the lack of fiat reserve on stamp of course is unsatisfactory... I would consider about 200%, 250% to be appropriate at the moment, given the risks and the chance for profit. But my total amount of fiat wasn't taken at that rate atm, and I suspect it's largely because you cannot margin trade if there's not fiat to execute your orders ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I would say it is up to the market to decide whatever rate is appropriate (which depends on circumstances of course, both supply, demand and the bitfinex system/rules). You can't just claim that a certain percentage is "appropriate" and demand that you get that much for your lending. Hell, if that is the case, then give me 9999% apr please. You're missing the point, or didn't read my post. My argument went: I consider X% interest rate appropriate. It's not taken completely at that rate. Okay, I'll buy myself then. Only, I cannot. tl;dr I'm not complaining that I'm not getting enough interest, I'm complaining that, because of a lack of fiat on Bitstamp, both lending rates are dampened *and* I can't buy myself. its already routing again...

i think a possible solution might be the following:
If you request a loan, you must atleast pay 1% of the total duration, even if you insta close it. So if you take out a very longterm loan, it will have its upsides and downsides.
So a 2 day loan will have to be held atleast half an hour (or atleast thats what you pay even if you autoclose) for a 365 day loan, you will have to pay 2,x (havent done the math on compound here)
