Bonus for vod - radars don't work on a spinning ball:

I know that.  We've known that since we understood "line of sight".

If I can't pick up your rocket across the planet, then the world is not flat.

I like your pictures showing the rocket moving into space over the curvature of the earth though.  Thanks.

Bonus for bozos:  The shortest distance on a flat plane is a straight line.  The shortest distance on a sphere is a curved line.  What type of line do your pretty pictures show?

 Cool

You can't track rockets which crashed down into an ocean, do you? Or maybe knuckleheads can do that.

If your flat earth was true, radar would be able to track anything anywhere on the planet.

Not only does the shadow from the hot-air balloon prove the Sun's rays are divergent and that it's a small, close object.

Stop throwing the word "proof" around like you know what it means.

Your picture shows the earth is a sphere, otherwise, unless it was exact noon and the sun was exactly above the balloon, the sun would appear purplish or reddish.  Doppler Effect.

These are facts that you so sorely lack.

And yeah, encoding it automatically would be greatly beneficial I think.

Yes, something I will do real soon.  Smiley
5045  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Reality of a Virtual World is Closer Than We Think on: November 14, 2018, 03:44:22 PM
Virternity Project was launched this week. What is it? It aims to explore immortality via a virtual realm using technologies such as virtual and augmented realities, as well as blockchain. According to the website, it has two main goals:  Immortality of human identity and halting the race for resources (human immortality and saving Planet Earth). I'm sure you have lots of questions, but the website is pretty comprehensive in tackling the details.

https://virternity.com/virternity

Wow. So digital immortality really is possible? What do you think?

So, we live forever in a virtual reality?  You would still need physical bodies to maintain the equipment creating this virtual world.

How are these people supposed to live when the air becomes toxic in a few decades?

VR will not save the human race.  Only real action, starting about twenty years ago, could have.

How is that proof that sun rays diverge? Lmao. You see the inconsistency with your logic? How many millions of pictures and videos you think are faked by NASA and yet a single photo is enough if it fits your agenda? Yea.. Dishonesty.

Not just NASA.  He also thinks every amateur photograph is faked.  The NASA real time feed from the ISS is also fake.

Anyone who has ever taken a picture of a yellow sun is faking it, since the flat earth sun would change color due to the Doppler Effect.  When he looks at the sky he sees a yellow sun.  NASA must have implanted something fake in his eyes...

Honesty, when you make up the definition of "proof", you can type anything you want.  When you are too lazy to do any experiments yourself, you are forced to believe what lies you are told.

^^^ The shadows from two sticks in the ground proves nothing but the fact you're a sack of shit who needs to die.

Two sticks in the ground were how we proved the earth was a sphere a thousand years ago.

Don't be so lazy - go outside and try it, or you have no right to question those that have tried it.

I'm being lied to on a massive scale as part of a horrible conspiracy, you should feel bad and die a horrible death.

Who is lying to you?

Get out of your bed, go place two sticks in the ground, and prove it to yourself the earth is a sphere!

You have no one to blame for your ignorance but yourself.

The real question is : Does it really matter if it's a disc or a globe?

Nah - why do we even teach it in school?   Roll Eyes

I watched that video.  I saw an older man  Undecided  stumble on a word as he collected his thoughts.

I certainly didn't see a confession.

Does anyone have a link where Buzz admits the landing was a hoax?

The mile is proof the Earth is flat by definition; a minute requires convergence to a point on a plane.

The simple fact we can bounce a laser off a mirror proves man has walked on the moon.

The simple fact a sextant measures angles and not distance disproves your theory.

Next lie?

Buzz admitted it was a hoax on camera recently.

Sorry liar, you'd have to provide a link to that one.

His footprints will be on the moon long after you die and are forgotten.

Flat Earth is the embodiment of Occam's Razor when compared to the globe; the globe is fucking absurd. The only time a globe matches with observation is when NASA is showing a fucking puppet show, or landing a sack of shit on a terrestrial Moon that doesn't exist in a craft made from aluminum foil, tar paper, curtain rods, BMX brand bicycle parts and scotch tape. How many trillions did they pocket and they gave us a spaceship made with scotch tape?

People that have actually walked on the moon have punched idiots like you.  It's funny.

maybe when my writing came out surely many people would blaspheme me.
Don't you have to be a deity in order for someone to blaspheme against you?

Not if he considers the forum sacred

I'll allow it.   Wink

I know you are a little slow at reading comprehension. So, go back and read the whole thing slowly, to see how you are confusing almost everything, while most other people aren't confusing anything... except the FE people, that is.

Cool

Funny how absolutely clueless you are.

And so not worth debating.

  Cool
5057  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: November 13, 2018, 02:01:39 PM
You guys keep confusing/conflating apparent size with angular size. Angular size corresponds a physical distance and apparent size is just how big an object looks. Either understand and acknowledge difference or you need to consider suicide.

We are not confusing anything.

An angle does not measure size, bozo.

The angle measured between two sides of the Sun and the horizon vanishing point reveals the diameter of the Sun in miles. The sextant measures angles on plane and the Sun is measured at 32'; the application and direct measument is irrifutible proof beyond a reasonable doubt the Earth is flat.

And presents under the tree is irrefutable proof that Santa Claus exists, right?

Try doing an experiment yourself and stop being the fool.

Although this seems unrelated I just had the curiosity to know how many people over here knew who Stan Lee was or at least how famous was Stan Lee among the crypto community?

Since most crypto enthusiasts are nerds, I would imagine most of us have heard of him.  :/

RIP, imaginative one. Sad
5060  Other / Meta / Re: No discord option in profile information? on: November 13, 2018, 07:10:05 AM
Well most of the profile information option are out of date sites, that no one really used any more.
If those could be scrapped, it could be replaced with more current and relevant accounts. Discord would surely be one of them.
For now you can fill it in the space for 'additional informations or any where you deem fit on your profile.

You can put your discord information in your signature, if you REALLY care about it...
