5041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: January 07, 2023, 07:27:58 PM
Blackpool 4:1 Nottingham Forest

I was just checking through the livescores and I saw that Blackpool humiliated Nottingham by scoring goals upto 4. This is not a good record for the premier league side. I really can say that since Nottingham Forest was promoted, I cannot just understand them. Sometimes they will surprise us and win Liverpool and most times they will play rubbish.
How can they have upto 63% possession and 20 shots and end up being defeated?

I was checking the results and so far I thought all the big teams and by big I mean any team playing in the Premier League to have won against lower division teams, apparently I did miss this defeat of Nottingham Forest and I thought at maximum maybe they will end in a draw and win in the return leg because if draws here the game is replayed in the home field of the team playing away.

I think they were defeated as most probably they did not play with their best eleven and most probably because they took it to easy thinking that we can win again a team of a lower division easily yet the surprise happened and they are not of the FA cup because of losing to such a low division team.
5042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 07, 2023, 07:00:47 PM
I am not feeling that well for the Newcastle game while all other Premier League teams that played against lower divisions so far have won their games,I don't think I have missed some game.It is always great when there are no surprises from the low divisions as back a couple of years ago surprises were very well happening even to big teams of the Premier League.

I thought why no Premier League games this weekend while all other major leagues were playing,it is because of the FA cup,I am not happy every time there is no Premier League action during a weekend but at least this will cool down the teams a bit so they can focus on their next Premier League game the upcoming weekend.

Edit:Did not see the defeat of Nottingham so surprises were also here.

So many developments lately about this coin and it is not yet listed in the mainnet as far as I know or something in those lines. Is this coin the true new comer that has the potential to substitute Ethereum that moved to PoS,all developments points to such scenario but I am only going to give this a try when it is listed and also when the CPU usage is reduced even further,30-40% CPU is still a high load that burdens the CPU-s in my opinion.
5044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: January 07, 2023, 10:55:42 AM
Hello guys,
With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.
Both bull and bear markets are normal trends and behaviors of the market, and it is inevitable. The bear market that is happening now is an opportunity for many investors to buy cheap bitcoin and potentially altcoins. Long-term investors should not be affected by market trends. Bitcoin will definitely rise or even break the previous ATH in the future.

I think history has shown that will happen exactly that way, meaning breaking the ATH from Bitcoin and then we know that all alternate cryptocurrencies follow the king of crypto. In 2013 we had the first massive ATH at over 1000 dollars. It took us 4 years later to achieve a new relevant ATH in December 2017 to reach that over 17.000 dollars. The last ATH were also after 4 years but it was several times during 2021,in February,April/May and October and after then we are where we are now.

Based on above I predict the year of the new ATH which will break the old one to be Q4 of 2025.
5045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Gambling Slang and Terms that Beginners Should be Aware of on: January 07, 2023, 10:35:50 AM
Nice list,I knew all the terms except beard as I am a really old gambler having gambled since 2003 or 2004 for the first time I don't remember that well and at that time casinos were not as well known as they are now and it was difficult to have an online account there at that time, that soon changed with the coming of Pinnacle and Bet365 but that is another story.

I never knew that a person placing bets for other people was called beard.I have witnessed back in 2004 when the driver of a deputy used to place bets for him,we all knew he was not placing those big amounts for himself but we did not know how to name that guy,we used to call it the driver as that was his job.

100K FUN tokens will give you access to the 4th tier of premium program, which rewards up to 10 daily WoF spins and 10% extra APY on your bitcoin balance. Going this far, it should worth to think about acquiring more 25K FUN tokens, so you can have access to the 5th tier of the program.
It's common already that it is all about fun token. It's not that very long when freebitco.in have fun tokens available where you can deposit and earn like wof and more but still reading the warning surely make people remember that only fun tokens should be deposited and other crypto deposited will be lost. They also give warning to deposit rounded fun tokens as the remaining balance will be lost and they give an example to that. I guess they only accept and if you have fun tokens like .5 won't be credited to your account. I guess that's really what the warning is for.

That is exactly what the warning is for.

I think that overall people who have the possibility to buy that much tokens, like 500.000 the maximum should do so and no I am not talking about normal users like many of us are here at the forum but for people who are whales and keep betting there every day because they have referrals who are active and who gambles a lot.If they buy such amount that is only going to be beneficial to them, they can lock that amount from 15 days to 365 days to earn interest from the FUN tokens and sell when the price will be higher in the next bull run,I don't see any con here but only positives for such people.
5047  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 07, 2023, 09:23:35 AM
always login to the Stake account, I also do that. so that when I claim weekly and monthly prizes it's easier to just click and choose the bonus you want.
and yesterday when I claimed the $40 bonus it was not necessary to log in to the account but only chose the desired bonus to crypto btc or something else, such as claiming a weekly bonus.
So you managed to get the bonus, congratulations. Stake often provides surprises bonuses for its members who are always actively playing, but during mid-December or after the World Cup rarely play or bet on sports betting because I was busy with other things including enjoying the Christmas and New Year holidays.
You can use this bonus to continue playing at stake because maybe the value will increase a lot because you win games in either sportbetting or casino games.

I am not Russian and I also received this bonus as I already said in the other thread created by a member who was surprised to receive such bonus. It was him that made me check my email and this bonus was for real,I redeemed it for Bitcoin and enjoyed playing my favorite slot machine for free.I didn't win anything as greediness got the best out of me and I made the classical error to raise my bet and in a very short amount of time lose everything.

This bonus though was the first such large that was given by Stake without any requirement as I didn't do anything except playing there every week since December 2021 without missing a single week.
5048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: problem with my ETH balance ! on: January 07, 2023, 09:00:42 AM
thank you my friend, maybe yes this is a scam!

but I didn't realize how the hacker just accessed ETH and don't have access to USDT ?! if they have seed I think they can access all my funds! no?!

i think maybe if i try to import this wallet on another wallet application (like electrum) with a 2FA password maybe I can stop accessing from the hacker ?! is it possible?

is there any other way to pay the network fees with other crypto or any other ways to save my money?

please tell me what you guess. thank you

Does this happen through your PC?If so do you have any other wallet beside Trust wallet that you have other type of cryptos there but compared to the Trust wallet you can operate normally? If you have such other wallet that operates normally it only means one thing that either you got some random seed in the internet or someone has compromised your Trust wallet, however it is most likely the first scenario you got the random seed in the internet because if the hacker had compromised Trust wallet and your PC he would probably be able to install a keylogger to your PC and get other seeds or passwords from it,even your credit card if you type it while you are infected.
5049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My friend has S11 Pro, Which Crypto Will give me more profit than Bitcoin mini on: January 07, 2023, 08:11:13 AM
Dont get you wrong asic still more profitable than gpus at very moment. And hashrate going down, if you get 0,05$ electric then is doable for leaving the asic turn on all day, there nothing you can do if already bought such asic, sell at loss or keep mining, miner dilema  Grin

I think that running an ASIC with 3250 watt power consumption it can be done with a 0.05$ electric cost but only if you are in for the long run.It will make you about 70 dollars in profit every month the S19 with 100 Thsh of hash rate with that electric cost. This is great to do and by doing so you increase your stash of Bitcoins daily as I took not the most profitable coin in this comparison which right now is Digibyte but the king of them all,Bitcoin and for the long run you will be very well prepared.
5050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder versus Andy Ruiz Title Eliminator on: January 07, 2023, 07:26:35 AM
I doubt personally that the guy with the bloated belly, the white guy in the picture above to have real possibilities to win the fight.Well as I said before when two persons are fighting each other is the most difficult to predict in terms of betting as we don't know the physical form of each of the fighters.

However I never would bet on someone with that bloated belly as the white guy which I am assuming is Ruiz because I don't follow that much this sport,it is a weak point for him,if he is hit there strongly chances are he will immediately lose the fight.
5051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 06, 2023, 09:09:30 PM
It's a Simple question -
Let's all assume that luck could be measured in percentage, I want us all to rate our luck in gambling for the year 2022,
From 0 to 100, rate how lucky you were in gambling last year.

And if you don't mind, feel free to also discuss your plans for this year 2023, how much do you hope to make from gambling before this year runs out, and do you have plans laid down to make this possible? Please feel free to tell us, you might just be helping someone re-arrange their gambling activities/plans for the year.

For me,
I will rate my 2022 gambling luck 5% out of 100, I didn't gamble much, but for the little I gambled, I didn't win much either, Infact, I think I lost more money than I won from gambling in 2022.

My gambling plans for this year 2023...
I currently do not have any plans yet for this year as I've not really settled into the year, have a few debts from last year I am still trying to settle before I think of gambling again..

I have week after week hoped to get the maximum prize from my favorite slot machines and even at the highest multiplier because I only play in slot machines that offers you big multipliers during the bonus round. The result unfortunately has not been good while I have lost more than I have won and never ever I have even been close to win such prize with a big multiplier.I would rate my luck for 2022 in percentage in 40-50% because I have won several times big amounts but not what I was aiming for,so my objectives have not been fulfilled in 2022.

I have the same plan for 2023 and I hope this since is an odd year I believe to bring me better luck than 2022 brought me but I know that in gambling the house edge crushes you so I have not high expectations anymore.
5052  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did you recently get a $40 "Russian Bonus" from Stake? on: January 06, 2023, 08:32:22 PM

Here is the part of my email that confirms I have received it and I made a typo above it is not 0.0023 but it was 0.002388 which was exactly 40 dollars at that time. Also I have not wagered much this week but in total I have wagered a lot last year so most likely this bonus is aimed to the persons who have wagered more than 5000-7000 dollars during the last year I assume, anyway below the pic.

Hmmm. I wager more than that amount before but I’m not active on Stake anymore for a year. I didn’t received this kind of promotional email even though I’m consistently receiving email of there promotion.

I believe this just an error for selected users that is active on Stake for certain period of time that wager specific amount. They are sending in local russian language means this promotion possibly intended for Russian players yet they mistakenly sent to everyone that meet the requirements for this bonus.

Congrats

It is a bonus for what, they should state what the bonus is for, so we will not be guessing what is intended for and those who received will not wonder, there is always a qualification why they receive this bonus and I wonder why on Russian language, maybe because the majority of those who received are Russians so they send through the Russian language to save time and effort on classifying who to send, this buzz alone is a good promotion for Stake.

I am not Russian and the email as you see is in plain English.Nevertheless I went and lose them all on my favorite slot machine Green Knight from Play n Go,it is the second time this machine goes to over 500 spins without giving the bonus but I knew this so who cares it was just a bonus for me to go from 28% remaining to the next VIP level to 26% remaining now as I did not last long and lost everything in less than half hour playing with the minimal bet, over 38 dollars with a 0.10 bet being lost in less than 30 minutes only Play n Go provider can do that and no I am not blaming them, that is why I love them, the volatility is not high as they claim,it should be extremely extremely high  Grin.

update: Looks like I got a lucky freebie, this email came ~2.5 hours later.

"Hi 'Blockstock',
The previous email you were sent from Stake was sent in Russian, which was not intended.

Stake is a global company & a lot of communications are localized.

Luckily, the bonus sent in that email is valid for you and only you, so please feel free to claim that bonus.

Rest assured this was sent by us and is a legitimate email. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope you’re having a great new year."

// Question answered, thank you Stake for being the most generous casino!
After reading the OP, I've been scrolling through my mails to see if I could find such email message, but unfortunately, i cant find any email from stake with this type of bonus.

And I think the highlighted part is self explanatory, the bonus was for you and you alone, by this, I believe that even if there are other gamblers that got this same bonus, there wont be many of you and some others might not even be on this forum.

So to that effect, I would say congratulations champ, enjoy you $40 mate, you might as well deserve it if we check the amount of money you've wagered.
Been checking my email after reading this and also checked the spam, there's no $40 for me OP did not mention his level or about his wager for him and Bitbollo to qualify but I'm sure they are not just two, Stake has thousands of players and they are handpicked because of their qualification, we don't know about the qualification because there's nothing on the email they received.
I'll still wait until tomorrow to see if there's a bonus that will arrive. Anyway, congratulations to both of you and those who received the bonus, there's nothing like getting unexpected surprise because you are qualified.

5054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2023, 02:52:32 PM
there are some roma players who have minor injuries maybe that will be a weak factor for roma in the match later, of course milan has the upper hand to win the match later because milan seems to be fully focused on catching up with Napoli at the top of the standings, so maybe milan will play well and win narrowly in the match later
AC Milan will definitely play well against AS Roma, because AC Milan also doesn't want to be humiliated at home by the AS Roma team. After all, as you said, AC Milan is trying to shorten the distance from Napoli, who was beaten by Inter Milan yesterday, so any match will be a very good opportunity for AC Milan to realize its goals. Even though AC Milan will not immediately win easily because every game always requires struggle.

Roma is not in the best of their form and Milan when playing at home usually plays well, now more than ever they would want to win this game to try and shorten the distance with Napoli. They are just 5 points between each other and if they win the game they go 2 points behind Napoli with Napoli having one more game to play.

Milan by winning this game does two things at once, first they shorten the distance and second they put a lot of pressure on Napoli to win the game they have more at all cost and this does not translates always well.

I got an email from Stake 43 minutes ago exactly telling me about this 40 dollars,so it is from noreply@stake.com but I am not yet a VIP level, need about 28% to wager more until I reach that level but I think it is a nice surprise this bonus which I am going to claim absolutely as soon as I go home.It is not in Russian and in plain English where they ask apologies and ask me to click that link.I believe since it is from their domain it should be nothing to worry and even if it is a phishing attempt I have 2FA enabled so hackers cannot really do anything as they also do not have access to my email.

Wow going to play some slot machines for free this afternoon.

Edit-I just got 0.0023 Bitcoin to play there, brilliant.
5056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 06, 2023, 01:49:50 PM
Playing against certain teams do have adverse effect on the self esteem of their opponents, I could say Chelsea didn't play to win, even though that a decent amount of chance than I expected them to, but I reckon that if they had scored first in the match, it would have been a very difficult situation for Man City and I strongly doubt they'd have been able to get back on level terms, but in the end, the better team won, I believe!

Yes I think only a few teams play against City believing they can win. Currently that would be Liverpool and Arsenal now, Chelsea for reasons only they know always play like they might lose so go for a draw against City. The funny thing in this league is against Liverpool all teams believe they can win, which is something they should try more against opponents like City. Guess having Haaland in that team is enough to make most teams give up.

I think it is the motivation and the quality of the players of City that did make a difference in the yesterday night game.Chelsea leaked motivation, they were somewhat better than City in the first half but this was not shown in the second one, most probably because Guardiola must have motivated much better the players during the half time rest.City just wanted the three points to go back to 5 points difference to Arsenal while Chelsea thought if we get a point it is a win for us and this losing mentality is the exact reason why they lose yesterday,I agree with you.
5057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of digital currencies? on: January 06, 2023, 01:21:18 PM
I've been wondering recently what's ahead for us in terms of the evolution of digital currencies.

There has been a lot of amazing development with blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general in the past decade. But I wonder if there's anyone working on other ideas or technologies that could also be promising. I'm not talking about altcoins. I mean real breakthrough ideas, similar to what happened when Bitcoin was originally introduced. It would be really exciting to witness the birth of something completely new in the next years/decades. I'm sure we have other brilliant "Satoshis" out there.

I'd love to learn more about cool projects and concepts that could be the evolution of blockchain (again, not altcoins please  Wink)

I think that Bitcoin was the best invention of our century that we live in and I think that "Satoshi" intentionally left himself anonymous to push more innovators to show their capability by building new projects, better than Bitcoin.

However as time has passed by it also has proven that no other brilliant "Satoshi" exists so far because we have not seen yet such a creation from anyone else,I personally doubt that there are more intelligent and brilliant minds alive in our time than the real inventor of Bitcoin.
5058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: January 06, 2023, 12:57:22 PM
I see that there is still a big rush on bounty programs. I wonder if it's worth the effort.
spamming the forum, creating multi accounts, buying merits... is it really worth that much?

as far as I've seen, most of all "projects" are mostly worthless and their tokens most often never reach any value. that's why they're called shitcoins for a reason.
I would like some of the bounty hunters to share their personal experiences and state publicly how much real (tangible) money they managed to earn from participating in these campaigns. Of course, using only one account and following the rules of the campaign.

I am not referring to tokens that have value only in the whitepaper, so only what has been converted or can now be converted into Fiat, Bitcoin or some stablecoin. also, earnings from bitcoin signature campaigns are not the subject of this discussion.

I was always curious about this too.I have been in a couple of bounties before, but that was about 3-4 years ago and not in the last 2 years,I remember that one token which I don't remember the name now and that the signature of that bounty ran for 4 weeks, the coins had a value which could have been exchanged to Bitcoin or FIAT in the likes of 52 dollars in total,I think it was 0.8 dollar for a coin as we used to get 60 at that time.

I still am interested to know because at that time 3-4 years ago some people by doing these bounties were earning much more than us who usually do the signature campaigns that pays in Bitcoin.
5059  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [URGENT DETECTED] Redirects Hashrate from a mining pool company?? on: January 06, 2023, 12:28:48 PM
I see there are indications of fraud from a big bitcoin mining pool company, which redirects our power hashrate miners to other mining pools.

what do you think?
at this time I'm not willing to mention it,
but someday I have to mention it here because this is outrageous and fraudulent behavior

I am also not seeing any indication of this and right now I am even using one pool that is ranked lower compared to others and by mining the algorithm that I do mine,we are just 18 miners, anyone can take over this pool if they wanted yet they do not care. Also every big pool has mechanisms in place to check for fraudulent activity, the big ones for sure have state of art or next generation firewalls with the latest technologies because there are a lot of hackers who want to make a quick buck by redirecting the pool hash rate to their address. As long as this is not happening you have nothing to worry.
5060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2023, 12:01:34 PM
So Inter is trying to make the Serie A interesting again by beating Napoli which came into that game without losing from I don't remember when. Now all the other teams who will win they will close somewhat the gap with Napoli.I know Napoli is still the favorite to win the Serie A but the fact that they lost a game after such a long time without losing and having only consecutive victories it shows that they are not as strong as they want us to believe they are.

Dzeko scored the 20th goal for Inter this season being one of the greatest buys of Inter and showing that this guy looks like does not age at all.
