That's unfair to the winner if a certain fighter makes excuses about his injury after the fight. For me, it's disrespectful as it's not giving credit to the winner, if the boxer has an injury, he should be transparent with it as bettors believe he is fighting with a healthy body and with good training, so they are confident that the boxer will win.
Whatever we think, it doesn't matter to them as they are just fighting for money and they have pride, when they make excuses and fans believe on it, they will still get the respect and might still be given a chance to have a rematch on the fighter that beat them. Boxers in today's generation are more concern on the money than the honor, so think that what we are seeing is just a game, they played it well so their career will be better and they will have a good chance of making money. We only have a few fighters now that are really a warrior, one of them which I think the best is Manny Pacquiao, despite of his age, he is not afraid to challenge the best and a younger fighter in his division, that's why fans continues to admire him even if he is not an American. When Pacquiao was first reported to have a fight in his division, he was asking a $20 million guaranteed purse, the fight did not happen and in this fight, he will only get $5 million, and I think it's too small for a legendary fighter, but still he sign the contract and get this big fight. We can say that he really want to entertain people, that's his first goal in his sport.

Basic lang naman yan kabayan, basta investment na too good to be true, tiyak scam yan.

It already happened in other sports AFAIR, like in the NBA, in the opening line, one team is the favorites but where there's bad news that could potentially affect the performance of the favorites, the odds flip and the underdog become the favorites, so bookies have no problem with that.
But in that particular case, it's a team. Here, it's a 1v1. If there's an injury happened, the fight might be canceled or delayed until both teams are 100% full health. Unlike in team matches that the game will still continue. The problem with Boxing's minor injuries is that, we don't know a specific fighter is suffering a minor injury that a fighter thought It wouldn't affect his conditioning, until he loses and opened up about a minor injury he's suffering before the fight. One of the major example is when Pacquiao fought Mayweather with am injured right arms. https://tv5.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/12811381/manny-pacquiao-fought-floyd-mayweather-injured-right-shoulder-denied-anti-inflammatory-shot-locker-roomIf I remember Pacquiao didn't opened up about this injury until after the fight. This could've prevented some of the bettors to bet in favour of Pacquiao. Also, boxing odds are totally different with team sports. Another great example is Loma vs Lopez, in which Loma remains silent about his shoulder injury until he already lost the fight. Maybe they don't want to jeopardised the fight and not about the bettors that's why they keep on fighting and on schedule despite their injuries. And there are fighters who injured themselves in the actual fight, broken hands, broken orbital bones (Inoue vs Donaire). But as per the current odds, yeah it's really enticing to have Manny as 2.60-2.70 odds underdog.

Time to move on for tomorrow's games.
At 2:00 PM, we have Meralco Bolts against ROS (+4.5) At 4:35 PM, we have Alaska Aces vs Phoenix LPG. (+3.5)
I'm wondering why Phoenix is the underdog here.
Both ROS and Phoenix are underdogs in these matches but IMO, either one of them or both of them could upset their opponents. Though ROS doesn't have its usual go-to guy but with their young guns, they could defeat the Bolts since everything now in the PBA is unstable. Phoenix is put in the underdog status may be because of their last game where they were blown out by NorthPort if my memory serves me right. Therefore my bets for today: ROS ML @2.57 Phoenix ML @2.15 No mistakes this time as I double-check my bets, but not going against SMB from now on. First game is over and the underdog Rain or Shine did shine on that ballgame. Young guns Nambatac and Mocon towed them into their consecutive wins with the help of veteran Belga. Even if I will lose my second bet, I still gain some profit as the odds for the first game is 2.57. Halftime at the moment between Phoenix and Alaska with Phoenix leading by 11 points. Seems another upset is looming in the horizon huh. Both underdog teams won tonight, that's why Phoenix was the underdog against Alaska because Wright did not play, but it does not make the team weak, instead, they bounce back strong from their first game loss in the conference. Vic Manuel was the best player of the game with 26 points and 12 rebounds, what a game by him, and Phoenix was not wrong of picking him.

This is a warning to everyon pero kahit same paren ang concept, I'm sure may nabiktima paren iton scam na ito. Lack of knowledge nalang siguro mas ok, kase for sure those people are good into something medyo tagilid lang sila with regards to investment at yung iba ay takot talaga mag invest pero once na pagaralan nila ito panigurado hinde na sila maiiscam.

Very similar to Muyan66, you can see at the interface. I brought the discussion in our local thread before Muyan was officially declared as a scam. you can see. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5347592.0Just over a week after my post, the scam happens. Lots of Filipinos lost money on that scam investment, I hope they'll learn from that experience.

5.2 for the legendary Manny Pacquiao? Wow. I know what I am using my monthly budget on in August that is insane odds for a talented fighter like Manny PAC. I get that he is the underdog but no way in hell would I say he is a 5.2 underdog.
Well, i wasnt expecting that on that odds and never expect that he was the underdog but even so then the odds given is really a good one or worth to put some bucks too. Its amazing that you are putting your monthly budget on this one but of course, we should always be mindful about the risk. Spence is heavily favorite but this underdog will surely make some good show. As always, as a fan, I will support Pacquiao through my bet, and I will never go against him since I have not seen him lose yet that displays he is already over. His loss to Marquez was devastating as he got knocked out cold, but he was trying to finish the fight and got careless, after that, he did not stop and come back to reclaim himself and prove to the world that he is still the best fighter in the world. Pacquiao is only a mission here, he wants to be the GOAT so I will support his journey.

CJ Perez also has to step up his game, though it's different from his previous team I'm sure he can adjust.
Still early for him and for sure there are lots of adjustment to work out after this first début, knowing him and the firepower that he can contribute with the team. I see from this lost, the blending playing together is not been intact they are still in some adjustment since they just have some practices after IATF allow them unlike before where the practice are regularly been done, the mindsets and those blends to jive with each other still young to this team but for sure they'll going to bounce back. Healthy SMB is far better than average teams inside this league, once they've start heating up, then expect more interesting gameplay from this heavyweight super team. They can still win a championship even if they end up in the last standing, that's how good the SMB is, they might struggle at the start but they'll when they start winning, that will be consistent. JMF playing some limited minutes is okay because it will take time to get back his confidence and dominate inside again, remember, he is not the best player in the PBA for nothing, his records and achievement already proved it.

By the looks of it Bucks vs Suns thing is getting a bit more like a given up thing at this point, most of my friends that like to watch and follow NBA do not even care about the finals right now. Think about it the next game is literally the finals of the whole NBA and maybe will decide on the champions and they are still not caring. I do not know what the reason for this could be but it is obvious that NBA became something very boring in the past few years for sure, no idea what could be my excuse but I know my friends just think that it is boring.
If NBA doesn't step up and do something, I am pretty sure that they are going to end up losing a lot more customers as well. Viewership numbers shows this as well, they have been rapidly dropping for the past 2-3 seasons and unless NBA does something to improve and get the attention again, we could see NBA not having this much attention anymore.
It's getting to be a 3 point show and talent has declined in recent times as well. No one plays defense unless it's the last 2 minutes of the game. College basketball is phenomenal because it is played like a team and for the love of the game. I would recommend your friends pick up college basketball it is much better tv. Fans also evolve, I mean, as the basketball style change in NBA, fans starting to accept it as well, unless you witness the old style and you think the old is a better one. For now, comparing NBA to college basketball, the majority would prefer to watch NBA as these college player's ambition is to get drafted in the NBA.

If I get to choose Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns, I choose the team with the Greek Freak. But my team really is the Detroit Pistons even if they havent been on the main stage for a while now.
Phoenix would have to be ready for the pressure of losing it all plus since the Bucks will have Home Court advantage, its anorher thing to not lose your game mindset with a very excited crowd. Nice to see another Pistons fan, it's so rare these days. I was rooting for Phoenix Suns because I want to see Chris Paul to get a ring before retirement but they messed up whole finals after 2-0. I don't know how they survive from this, morale is at the bottom. Devin Booker couldn't play last ball well in Game 5, even though they played fairly even in the game they wasted decisive ball. Jrue Holiday played one of his career nights, when you add this to Giannis and Middleton's great performance there is not much you can do. Bucks is very close to be the champion, let's see if they can finish this in Game 6 tomorrow night. Well I am not a fan of just because a player is on a team. I like Pistons as they are the first team I knew. Funny cause I get to be a fan because of a merchandise with the team name and logo when I was in grade school. Lol Phoenix, still is not out of the game even if the odds are not their favor. And it would be really great to see CP3 getting a ring. He deserves one. Giannis and CP3 both deserve to get a ring, but it looks like Giannis will be the winner in the NBA Finals. If you compare their journey, it was the Bucks who are consistent in the playoffs, they are criticized because they are overvalued and they just easily lose in the series, now, they have a great opportunity to win the NBA Finals, so I would say, it's nice if they'll win in 6.

I agree with the result, Castano is a real warrior, he was able to give Charlo a toe to toe fight and the Fans love it. This fight deserves a rematch and I think Charlo would win in the rematch, he is the bigger fighter, if he just learns how to master his jab, I think the outcome will be different. I was not able to watch the fight live but looking at the highlights, I can tell it's 50/50 and the result is accurate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka0KQdrX85k

Good news for SMB fans. SMB fears eased as Terrence Romeo spared from major knee injuryTERRENCE Romeo made a cryptic post suggesting the injury he suffered in San Miguel's opening game in the PBA Philippine Cup was not a major one.
The veteran guard posted on Instagram Story a simple 'thank you' note accompanied by three praying emojis, a few hours after undergoing MRI test on the left knee he injured in the Beermen's season debut against Meralco.
"Thank you Lord so much!!!" read the IG story of the San Miguel star. This means he will be back soon, I think what he suffered is like the injury of Giannis Antetokounmpo during the Bucks vs Hawks series, but he is fine now, back to being a beast.

Holiday MVP hahahaha
Giannis yan bro for sure. It's called the Most Valuable Player for a reason na mahalaga sya sa isang team upang manalo.

I don't put a lot of money on gambling plus the minimum is the lowest amount in coins is used in the casino that I am playing plus I can also put my money on another bet and make the bet of the other player much higher and in return I get a cut.
It's considered a lot if you bet higher than your budget, and I don't think it's right to go beyond your budget as it's too risky, in gambling, you win, you lose, that's the only two outcomes, so always be smart and always know how to manage the risk. There's no room for us in gambling if we are careless and yet we want to be successful, we should make a strategic approach, no an approach that is based on luck.

This is the game that I like to watch and bet, it should be a close game as both teams are good. Putting my bet on Magnolia again, hopefully, they are the underdog here.

I don't like Casimero's attitude but still voted for him because he is a promising boxer, his attitude is very surprising all the Filipino boxers I've known are humble and talk less and they let their fist do the talking it started with the late Filipino flash Gabriel Elorde and still continues in Pacquiao's era, but Casimero's attitude break the tradition.
Time changes, so people changes as well. We may don't like Casimero's attitude but it's not our concern anymore, our concern is for him to give his country honor but winning his fights, because of Boxing, we are more recognized in the world, thanks to Manny Pacman for being a legend and hopefully, there's another boxer that will continue to reign in the boxing world. We have Donaire and Casimero now, but Casimero is still at his peak so most likely he will be the successor though I don't think he will become an 8th division champion.
