I've got some pretty disturbing news to report about Cryptsy which I believe is going to cause the site to go full-Mt. Gox, very very soon. If you have any funds at that site, I urge you to read this post, you will thank me later.
Sigh... I had a few coins on Cryptsy and now their site has disappeared. Mostly shitcoins though but probably still worth about $50-100. All I have with me is my original email/username and password. I had a look at the Cryptsy website and it's asking how many of each coin I had and when which I don't remember at all. Unless any new information comes to light, I'm just going to chalk this one up as a loss. Excuse me??? Am I dreaming? this so freaking out: no one will lost his money on a coin that has no limits. I personally did a wrong thing by investing in such coin. Why this?? who is the big exploiter in this issue?? of course the deves behind the coin. And creating a coin with no limits will just destroy economics. Each check-in transmits the Antminer serial number, MAC address and IP address. Bitmain can use this check-in data to cross check against customer sales and delivery records making it personally identifiable. The remote service can then return "false" which will stop the miner from mining.'
