5041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 16, 2021, 02:35:10 PM
What you guys think about the Finland vs Russia clash today? Russia went down by a big margin to Belgium in the first match (it was expected though, and Belgium is currently no.1 as per the FIFA rankings). On the other hand, Finland had an upset win over Denmark in their first match. If they manage a win today, then they will advance to the playoffs and things will get very difficult for Denmark (they need to beat Belgium). As of now, it looks like Russia will end up at the bottom of Group B.

Finland are one of the worst teams in there in my opinion, yes they have Teemu Pukki but even he proved that he can't do well against top opponents. Russia on the other hand also don't really have stars in their team but they have such solid group work because they play together a lot also in Russia.

I think Russia will take this, and Finland goes to bottom even after that lucky win against Denmark. Denmark for sure will recover...

Now that was a great finish by the last Euros champions! Grin
Can't wait to see what the next match has in store for us fans and if France can match that performance.

I think this is really going to be the case of Euro defending champions versus World Cup defending champions. I'm not sure how the group stage works out because of the progression and pathways but it would actually be nice to see a France vs Portugal final.

Judging from the reviews of the match, both of them already did the best in this first round (plus Italy).

I guess there are always some people who will claim weird things about their situation and they are never in the wrong, even if they know it themselves they will not accept it, it is just someone else's fault and it will always be like that. I personally do not care about them at all, let them be like that because they are the ones who caused the trouble on them and now they are asking us to pity them and sometimes pity doesn't work so they act all angry about something that they did but act as if someone else did.

There are millions methods to try to get your money back after you lose them, none of them works and some reason these people think maybe one of them will work. Even if you were to be hacked, how is that freebitcoins fault? They are not the ones that gaveaway your password to someone, it is you that got hacked so why would they be responsible for your loss?

It's especially common in gambling sites I find:) People won't take responsibilities for their own decisions. It's not that I don't sympathize either. I actually also was a victim as I explained above. But that was my fault (no 2FA). I owned my mistake and moved on. And learnt. Same as all my gambling busts:) My bad decisions, so I own them:)
5044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value? on: June 16, 2021, 06:23:40 AM
Governments have tried to block Bitcoin before, and in fact on numerous occassions China has tried to do it, in various ways. Even India, also tried to ban it altogether.

That's 2 of the biggest countries on earth trying to block Bitcoin.

Did that affect Bitcoin's value?
5045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: June 15, 2021, 05:03:21 PM
Spain killed me so I switch loyalty to Germany and Portugal today as I took the Bruno Fernandes + Kai Havertz to score special 15x and Bruno did not let me down yet;)

Of course, the biggest match of EURO so far is going to be our Soccer BLACKJACK!

Bet now live!

France versus Germany

5046  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Serious bug binance I have balance but I can't use it (bnb token) on: June 15, 2021, 02:37:52 PM
still not work and no support
Unfortunately their support is very slow of late. Don't use livechat, just create a ticket or write an email to them with all the details of the problem. Their Livechat is the slowest I have ever witnessed.

Have you tried withdrawing BNB to see if all of it appears in the withdrawal box?

Yes, this is the best way. Once you create the support ticket in fact, you just need to reply to it in email and they return to you within hours. Haven't used them much actually but a few months back never got their confirmation email (which you need for withdrawal pin) and then they fixed it in the same hour.

Live Support always sucks for most exchanges but ticketing! That's usually good.
5047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2021, 02:05:25 PM
I was wondering if I am the only one except the boys in sportsbet prediction pool who is following Copa America and was asking if I should open a topic about it or not Wink
Matches starting time are a bit late for most people in the other half world so I assume following all games isn't that easy.
So far Brazil and Colombia winning their games isn't a surprise.
Seeing Argentina - Chile match today in bookmakers, you have the feeling that Argentinians will win easily. In their last 3 games, Argentina won once and 2 games ended with a draw. I don't feel Argentina will win easily.

Yeah, far too late for me to catch them really. I can maybe watch the first EURO game that starts almost midnight for me, but anything after that if I watch then I may have to be a zombie at work and then get fired;)

Argentina already didn't win so yeah even Messi magic can't save them. Brazil looking hot as usual.
5048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A book to read on when to sell (before a crash) on: June 15, 2021, 12:51:51 PM
A lots of market movement which is very hard to predict the right directions, I agree that books and videos can offer basis but it's not a sure deal that it will point you to right path in every trade that you'll going to take,

There are influence coming from different sides of this market, whales are still have a good hands controlling, though there are now good numbers of end users and investors which really a good news for this growing market.

Keep working with your knowledge and skills, enhance and adjust from time to time while you are still working inside this industry.

But that was kind of my whole point. Read the books and watch the videos. Gives you the basic skills and fundamentals. To use platforms, to use stop loss. Capital management and protection. Even maybe software that helps charting etc.

But nothing and absolutely nothing gives you a good preparation for how ACTUAL TRADING looks and works on crypto. That is something every guy's got to experience for himself.
5049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish? on: June 15, 2021, 12:20:47 PM
I at first also assumed it might be bitcoin reversed however when we hit $42K ATH and we came close to retesting this area, in the chart below it didn't come close to the pivot so I knew it wasn't bitcoin.

The chart is basically short term bullish but long term bearish. It had a long downtrend and its time for some upside. It had a failed low and it also breached the prior pivot high and made a new higher high as it bounced.

So most likely it'll go a little higher however it'll eventually run into some resistance and probably start to head back down. If it goes back down it'll probably resume this trend and break to newer and newer lows.

Unfortunately I have to agree to a point. short term bullish because of some corrections and of course you-know-who giving some stupid hope to speculators, but the medium term of months does look like it could drop below again if 45k isn't met this month.

Long-term is still bullish though I'd say, but this is talking about next couple of years. I can't see below 30k as new support otherwise prepare for worse.
5050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 15, 2021, 12:04:35 PM
Didn't watch the match but saw highlights and now I'm not sure if supporting Spain is a good idea. They're not playing very well and tiki taka is not so nice or fluid. Fed so much the ball through to Jordi Alba (or the highlights only showed them giving it to him). Morata, Moreno, should have gone to score at least once. Or was Swedish keeper really that good?
5051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Paul Todor be the influencer to take BTC to the moon? on: June 15, 2021, 10:59:31 AM
Investing at least 5% of your assets in #Bitcoin is recommended by Paul Tudor Jones, and institutions and talking heads are already going absolutely bananas... Do you have any thoughts on where this will lead to Bitcoin? Is it moon time?

I don't know about going absolutely bananas, I mean yeah we have Saylor and what not putting more and more into Bitcoin, even have one or two governments putting their fund portfolios into it, but I don't think another influencer is going to do anything. It would be maybe one of the Rothschilds opening a premier BTC fund for rich that would kick this into gear.
5052  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in Freebitco.in on: June 15, 2021, 10:06:45 AM
You are right, somehow since I met freebitco.in I could see that when you play in free mode getting satoshis only with the roll is not enough, on the other hand, when you play by making previous deposits, the money there pays more, you can have a lot of fun more and if you know how to place the bets, there are more chances of winning.

As more money is deposited, the probability of winning increases, the strategy used can also influence and the luck of the player at the respective moment. In fact, one way that I managed to win is with the multiplier x2, when you win it changes to x3 until you have the first win, and when you get it, change it quickly to x5 until you win, it is very risky, but if you give it you can get a very good profit.

Yeah, I mean, I've been playing for years and I really just use it to kill time, and maybe hope for the lottery tickets to hit it big or the $200 prize (think I've only ever won the $2 at most) but I've checked my freeroll stats and it's a LOT of money for something free and no ads. That said, I do earn max Freeroll bonus so not sure how much it'd have been without it. Plus I played when it was thousands of sats per roll:)
5053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins questions on: June 15, 2021, 08:38:35 AM
Three things that can make or break a project supply, transparency, and equal distribution, all three are not in the project that you are looking at, so you have to dig deep if this really a project worth investing in, it's not good if the supply is controlled by the team they can control the trading of their coin and this is not good for investors, I'm glad that you did not mention the name of the project, but not the kind of project investors would like to invest.

As I mentioned above though, OP is referring to IDOs, which are socalled defi coins.

99% anon or shilled by influencers and have zero product value other than just to earn more yield and more APYs on meaningless coins.

But if that's what he's after, then it's pointless to look for supply, distribution and team etc. What you want to see instead is vesting/locking periods. The only way to get tokens should be on the DEX LPs.
5054  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Futures Contract - What is the best resources for live news or market analysis? on: June 15, 2021, 08:03:54 AM
Right now I am using only Kraken since I am verified and using since a while.
According several resources deribit is the largest market of crypto futures, this is why I have added here as platform.

I see! Yeah, that's also what I've seen but only on ads. I have to admit before I saw those ads (the ones on Brave browser especially) I had never heard of deribit. And then the complaints threads about them opened and that led me to suspect them. To be fair, there are complaints about all the platforms but I just thought it was a bit shady to never have heard about them until all those ads. Kraken probably the best bet I'd stick with that.

This you?

i'm thinking about converting my rp to btc as well because i'm afraid they could set 2rp = 1 satoshi. i hope they at least announce here before making the change, or maybe confirm that 1rp=1satoshi is there to stay. Smiley got 120k rp over many months of free rolls, dice rolls and trying to get my friends active Smiley i don't want them to value 60k satoshi now Sad
thing is, if i convert now, i'll have to wait looots of time before going to 100k rp and being able to convert again... this is why i'm not sure abount converting, i'm waiting ...

If you lied about not touching the multiply btc section why should we believe the rest of your story?

Ha! Nice catch. You cannot get that many RPs without ever dicerolling. I think even in all my years I may have maybe managed to get enough for 1 exchange but to get 100k for a new account trying to "refer" people and then claiming he never touched his account? Definitely smacks of something.

Probably made an accidental max bet and then decided to complain.
5056  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Creditors voting on MTGOX Draft Rehabilitation Plan on: June 14, 2021, 05:49:04 PM
I thought there was already a plan for creditors and the whole past 2 years has been about that plan, with the agent selling the amounts awarded bit by bit to return to investors?

I thought all the questions you asked would be answered by now. Crazy how long this has taken to resolve! Good luck to you OP.
5057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: June 14, 2021, 05:02:11 PM
Today is:
Spain - Sweden
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/uefa-euro-2020/spain-sweden-60c775163745dc1e4514c9bf

boltz you are right. First it was Spanish who did that, then Germans, so who knows maybe it is England's turn to dominate EURO and Europe.

I cannot watch any games right now but sneaking in some livescoring checks.
5058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A book to read on when to sell (before a crash) on: June 14, 2021, 02:44:59 PM
There are tons of books that we can use but it will all depend on the knowledge that we have sometimes what we learn from the books is different on what the economic situation is. It will all tends to depend on our experiences. Taking profit is good and buy backing at lower price can work also. I have learn to take advantage of profits using it into other business or investment than stocking it for long in holding. I will just buy back whenever possible.

Books teach you theory. And they'll teach you charting methods and terminology, and what to watch out for.

But no book on crypto is good enough I think when the market is so new (ten years?). There can't be any experts and everything in crypto changes SO much and SO fast. No one is good enough to keep updated in the world of crypto.
5059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: June 14, 2021, 02:02:23 PM
You know why? Because, only 13-15% of the gamblers win on a daily basis as compared to the remaining 85% lose often.
Thats true, many people are losing their money compared to gamblers who are winning each day. Thats why there are anti gambling campaign to show the negative sides of engaging yourself in gambling and to prevent ourselves to lose our money.

Just like other addiction's warning it has a bad effect especially if you have no control. But its fine to gamble as long as you can set limit and have discipline, but the problem is most gamblers are lacking of this mindset. Though there are few gamblers who succeed in gambling as their profession, but still, not everyone can do it.

I have to say even 13% gamblers winning daily is a far-fetched number for anyone to believe in, I win some days and lose most days, so how can anyone consistently win? Even the house does not always lose, and can lose much more than win in a normal occasion unless you allow time to play out over the years.

Just face the facts. You lose eventually in gambling. The point is to have fun. Finito.
5060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think are the most promising long term coins on Coinbase right now? on: June 14, 2021, 12:20:24 PM
*few people need to learn first how to read the whole thread properly before give their shitpost on a thread.
OP indeed is only talking about altcoin on altcoin section, how would you ask where is bitcoin or even give advice to him to invest in bitcoin?

Maybe OP can go with AAVE, COMP and UNI. AAVE and COMP are biggest Defi using ETH platform and UNI is biggest DEX exchange using ETH platform

I guess Matic would be the one to look at if you're looking at these types of Defi coins, only because all of these mentioned are hopping onto Polygon like crazy, so yeah all of them gaining the hype boost but Matic probably the one benefiting the most as the most popular L2 token. What do you think?
