5061  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Faked-account of Electrum. Look to learn & to be more careful on: November 03, 2019, 10:53:52 PM
I remember reporting few of his posts and it didn't take long before his account got nuked. I also left him a negative trust. It is a throwaway account and am sute he will come back with a new one.

These events just shows that scammers and cyber criminals roaming around the crypto space are getting smarter and sharper whem fooling people making it very hard to get rid of them.
I am not sure whether scammers are getting smarter or other usrers are becoming more careless!
5062  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Bitcoin ever Become Physical coin ? on: November 03, 2019, 10:23:39 PM
Bitcoin is created to get rid of physical coins (FIAT) so why do we have to go back to using physical coins.
If we are going to exchange bitcoins manually, how transactions are going to be recorded on the blockchain?

Some physical coins have been minted but they are used mainly to store bitcoins for long time not to exchange them.
5063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Leaked information. Are we really safe at all? on: November 03, 2019, 10:07:16 PM
Hence why it's totally frowned upon to use exchanges that requires KYC, because the potential leaks could be a lot more destructive.
the problem is that most reputable exchanges require kyc. You have to verify your identity especially when withdrawing big amounts of money.
Exchanges that do not ask for identity verification usually have small trading volume and you can't be sure if your funds are safe with them or not.
5064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merit as a Newbie? on: November 03, 2019, 09:52:40 PM
I do not think that reputable members get merit only because they are reputable.
trust score is not a criteria when sending merits. But, usually, trusted members are good posters and never spam because they care about their reputation.
5065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provable fairness in Player vs Player (Be Cautious) on: November 03, 2019, 09:00:36 PM
These kinds of posts are very helpful yet most likely go unnoticed by beginners or newbies since they basically don't understand it.
a small bump.
This is a must read thread for all gamblers but as you said but it doesn't get enough attention.
Some useless threads get hundreds of views and replies which make me wonder if gamblers really care about where they spend their money.
5066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Masterclass / Guides / Learning on: November 03, 2019, 08:30:45 PM
The best way to learn or master the poker is to through playing with pro players. Those guide were just a bunch of words telling you what kind of strategy you have to use in order to win in poker game. But of course, you still need to apply that on the game to see how it should be effective against real player.
But not everyone will have the chance to play with pros and learn from them. This is why people resort to buying those courses especially if they are produced by experienced and known players.
Free courses will just learn you the basics (how to play, rules...)
5067  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: P2P Provably Fair Casino Project on: November 03, 2019, 07:35:43 PM
Then it's not P2P, otherwise all multiplayer games (without bot/AI) is qualified as P2P game Tongue
yes, P2P also known as PvP are games where players bet against each other. The house loses nothing and its only profit is the HE.

What made me believe that OP is not talking about a peer to peer system is that he said there is a server side. That doesn't make sense!
5068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Redeem private key from physical coin on: November 03, 2019, 07:06:01 PM
Hello, Does anyone know how I can redeem the private key from a physical bitcoin? I got the coin, I verified the public key is still valid here: https://casascius.uberbills.com/
Here is a yotube video explaining how to redeem the private key from the physical coin:

Now I'm not sure how to enter the private key to "activate" it so I can sell the 1 BTC. Sounds like this used to be possible on Mt. Gox but thats not an option anymore!

Thanks!
Forget about Mt. Gox, if you have the private key then you can import it into any wallet and the balance is yours.
5069  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐️ BETLLER.IO | 🤜 🤛 P2P Betting | 🏆 Wagering contest on: November 03, 2019, 05:41:07 PM
There are many declined bets meaning you are struggling to attract more players. Therefore you should invest some mony to promote your website.

Provably fair means that results can't be manipulated by anyone but here bets results depends on a third party which is Binance! How can that be provably fair?
5070  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you want to make money, social media Bounty is not the way! (I guess) on: November 03, 2019, 04:47:10 PM
Personally I don't mind using my personal social media pages to promote a crypto project as long as it is a serious one.
What I hate is seeing people turning it to a full time job and join every and each bounty they find then they come here to complain about being scammed or not receiving their rewards.
5071  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: P2P Provably Fair Casino Project on: November 03, 2019, 03:44:41 PM
Maybe I'm just being a bit thick, but how exactly is this a peer-to-peer casino project when you literally state in your post that it has a client-side and a server-side application to it? This sounds more like open source software that allows casino owners to run a casino server, but it doesn't sound like it's peer-to-peer.
I think p2p here means person-to-person games where players play against each other and not against the casino and not peer-to-peer system where nodes connect directly to each other without the need for a server. (maybe OP can clarify this point)
What concerns me in such games is how the provably fair algorithm works and how random numbers are generated! Also, how to know you are betting against a real player not a bot created by the casino?
5072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Masterclass / Guides / Learning on: November 03, 2019, 02:40:47 PM
I watched many video tutorials and took free Poker courses but, honestly, that wasn't what I am looking for and there is nothing special there. I might be interested in buying one or two of the paid masterclasses. I think you should provide more details about what you have and how much does it cost.
5073  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: November 03, 2019, 12:47:26 PM
Hey, yes, unfortunately we still have the same system, but he didn't forget this, we would love to give you an exact time but we might miss the schedule since we still have a few challenges ahead, once we have a solid update on this you guys will be the first to know Smiley
Thank you for the quick reply.

Even if people use too low fee and it takes more than 24 hours to confirm while he is depositing at wolfbet, I'm sure there will be still a way to claim the deposit. So no need to worry too much but obviously it is better to make deposit with recommended fee (at least not using the lowest fee).
That's true. All you have to do is to contact the support team and they will help you to claim the deposited money. I know this from a previous experience (I mentioned it before) and it wasn't because of low fees, in fact I even bumped the fees to accelerate the transaction to be able to join the wolf race but forgot that you can't send more than one transaction per address.

هل يوجد من قام بترجمة هذه الورقة إلى اللغة العربية ؟
5075  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: عناوين سيڨويت على متصفح blockchain.com on: November 02, 2019, 10:29:03 PM

But the deposit system has not changed yet and the address expires after 24 hours.
This is exactly why I asked again. I want to know if there is any updates regarding this issue.
Besides, lately, transactions with low fees are taking too long to confirm and a transaction with 1sat/b may take longer than 24 hours to confirm.
5077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Fake Litecoin giveaway website on: November 02, 2019, 09:34:28 PM
I can't believe people still fall for these send me this to verify and I'll send 10X back.
In fact it doesn't surprise me since most websites promote the cryptocurrencies market as the land of opportunities where you can earn a fortune without making any effort. Out of greed, people will fall even for the most blatant scam.
5078  Other / Meta / Re: Is it not allowed to sell guest posts on this forum? on: November 02, 2019, 09:06:14 PM
What this the topic?
according to the modlog page, just one of his posts got deleted. It must be the one you mentioned.
thank you for archiving unedited/deleted posts.

Anyway, when you receive a thread deleted message, it comes with a motivation.
Did you receive it?
It is a generic message that comes with every deletion notfication and doesn't explain the exact reason for each case.
5079  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I know a bit of cryptography, what can I do about it? on: November 02, 2019, 08:05:10 PM
You can't learn everything in few months so better focus on one thing.
My advice is to improve your programming skills and become an advanced programmer.
With your basic knowledge of cryptography, it will be easy to find a decent job. There is a huge demand for blockchain/dApps developers.

Seeing the wagered amounts and the number of online players and how they are increasing everyday, we can conclude that WB is on the right path  Smiley

However, I stil believe that deposit addresses shouldn't expire after 24 hours. And why you accept only one transaction per address?
