5061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to XRP market now that SEC is suing Ripple? on: December 24, 2020, 06:00:24 AM
whenever there is negative news there is bound to be a sell-off, and I'm sure this applies to ripple as well. today the ripple has dropped below 0.5$ and this will probably get worse. You have ripple on your portfolio, Better sell it before it's too late. this could be a huge dump if the problem hasn't found a solution.

Yeah! it will be dropped as we've never seen before. The price will likely get its new all-time low if they don't fix this problem soon and that would be impossible too since they caught red-handed. People are starting to dump the price up to the point they never care if they get some huge loss when they first bought it. this is a catastrophe for Ripples right now. I hope this is the last bad news we witness this year.

Look this could have been a historical night for Nikola Jokic if he was just made that winning score. But that's just the way it is, right? anyway, he was amazing tonight looking forward to seeing his next games.

5063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end the dollar’s reign? on: December 24, 2020, 05:09:47 AM
Whether Bitcoin existed or not, the Dollar will end the Dollar's reign.    Roll Eyes

Fiat currencies don't last forever.  They can't.  With all debt-based money, eventual failure is an integral part of the recipe.  It's just how they function.  Some last longer than others, but they will all approach worthless at some point.

Now you say this, I was thinking about the price of dollars nowadays. It just doesn't get up like the past few years. It remains on $1 = 48.2 PHP back on the days when I'm not using BTC yet, it won't go down from 50+ PHP now it doesn't have any impact to get up to that high price anymore. I wonder if it's gonna go down below that for the next few years then that would be the end of it I guess.
5064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC next target 😉 on: December 23, 2020, 01:06:02 PM
Bitcoin dominance is going higher and higher. And we have seen new ATHs recently. In short term we can see 30k level. But altcoins melted. I was expecting for an alt party but Bitcoin didn't let. If we could see alt party, it would be more healthy for Bitcoin also. Most of people holding altcoins and if we would see altparty people would sell and buy back Bitcoin. Also in 2017 people were trading in BTC pairs but this year USDT pairs. Its another interesting story.

If we added until January 2021 with this kind of runs in the market, then the $30,000 mark is possible. The thing is, I can't believe I am living in this era where the price is surging up to the point it creates another ATH and it's not done yet. No matter what bad news Bitcoin could get it still have some people who continue to believe in it and we can see it right now in the market. the result is just publicized we cannot doubt it anymore.
5065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 23, 2020, 12:20:40 PM

Marc Gasol just played his first game with the Lakers, he only played 12 minutes and scoreless, what a bad game for him in his debut as a Laker.

This is just some warm-up and maybe Marc is getting some sort of new role in this game since he is not the starting line up now. I think they also need to consider signing Pau to Lakers since was one of the players who contributed to their past championship with the legendary Kobe Bryant. Maybe this is his last wish, to play with his brother on the same team in the NBA. They really need to consider this, since those two are dominating the last FIBA World Championships.

Press Release SEC Charges Ripple and Two Executives with Conducting $1.3 Billion

https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-338

It took them so long but after so many years the biggest scammers in crypto will finally pay their debts.

Oh my God! that was close, thankfully I sold all of my ripples when the price was surging a few weeks ago. That was not a little amount though, that was so close. I mean, I was doubting that the price will still get high after it reaches double the price I invested. with this news, I'm sure those people who currently holding it are starting to panic now. Man, this news is huge it could turn around the price at any moment.
5067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 5 James Bond gambling scenes on: December 23, 2020, 11:27:54 AM
I watched Jame Bonds movies before and never take any attention to the casino scenes because I'm still young back then. Maybe if we watch it right now, gambling scenes will be something different because we know what they are doing. I also have some Korean series that I want you guys to watch if you like such kinds of gambling movies. The title is Daebak (Jackpot).

5068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing : Reymart Gaballo vs Emmanuel Rodriguez on December 19th on: December 22, 2020, 07:03:15 AM
Lots of video reaction online about the win of Gaballo, it was really controversial, they need to put an end to this by giving mmanuel Rodriguez a chance for a rematch. Gaballo for sure has learned a lot of lessons here that he can't just rely on his power, he also need to use some technique to still remain effective despite of the style of the opponent which would just score and run.

It was a disappointing game, if only Rodriguez gave a toe to toe fight, the win of Gaballo could be convincing.

This win is fine since he was the attacker and that's how boxing goes you need to throw some punch to get some score if you just continue running that way, you only make it hard to decide for the judges and the audiences. When the judges split their decision for a win for Gaballo, lots of people criticize their decision since they thought Rodriguez has won that match and since we don't have the same vision as those of those judges, we just need to accept their decisions.
5069  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chorona could wipe out indigenous tribes in america and australia on: December 22, 2020, 06:16:49 AM
I think that would not be possible because those people in reality have a strong immune system than those who are living in the cities. Simple flu is nothing to them as you can see they don't really need some shirts to cover themselves from a cold night, let alone some cough and other Corona related disease. I mean, they cannot be wipe-out that easily because they took some natural medicines which only them who knows, and overall they are strong creatures that survive thousand of years with that environment and manage to skip the last deadly virus of the past centuries.
5070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were me , Do you buy this coin ?? on: December 22, 2020, 05:42:11 AM
Why do you think its low risk? Just because its self funded? In fact you'll be in a high risk investment since its self funded. IIRC there was a study concerning non funded vs funded projects. Most non-funded projects cant compete with funded projects and dissipates overtime, they dont last for long. You will even see in CMC that top projects are mostly funded projects except for a few self funded one which is the old founding coins.

As the other project has not been successful, those who are self-funded are most likely dump in the future if they cannot find any support from the other companies because there are lots of alike projects that has already failed when they failed to acquire some partnership with the other big names in the crypto industry. Nevertheless, if they just started from a self-funded project and get some numbers of a partnership after some years, then that would be nice to invest your money with. you can see all of those things on their road maps.
5071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 22, 2020, 04:08:26 AM
NBA season is coming back and LA Lakers are probably looking stronger than before with new signings and paying $40 million for Kuzma, so I don't think LA Clippers will have any chance in LA battle.

I don't know about that but if the Clippers don't make any counter moves about these signings, their dream of getting to the finals will be in jeopardy since the Lakers have already managed to strengthen their bonds with their players and this is one of the most crucial needs to make a strong team. I mean, when we see them play this season they already know each other so well that they will trust each player on the team to do their own roles. I smell another championship with this strengthened Lakers this year.

5072  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Three more fake trust wallet on google play. on: December 22, 2020, 03:42:56 AM
This is so serious. Firstly, we need to know the fact that Google is the home to scam apps while the government that suppose to make google safe for users are not doing anything but looking what google are doing by not having effective measures to finally free their app store fake apps. Secondly, some people do comment about open source codes wallets, that such wallets can easily be mimicked and have fake ones, but why trust wallet which is close sources like this too in a way there are many fake trust wallets.

That's why when I'm about to download official apps, I first go to their official website and look for the link to get me to the app page instead of searching it in the play store because we wouldn't know the result shown are official apps or not. sometimes there is typo in our search which cause to show different results and sometimes those fake apps will be shown and if we are not paying attention we could have downloaded it and blindly deposit some funds. that kind of mistakes should be avoided by doing the necessary things.
5073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2020, 03:24:58 AM
Here we are again at crossroads to choose whether to cashout bitcoin which we have or else Hodl for some more time? This week is undoubtedly most complicated week of the year for bitcoin users because history has not been so kind to bitcoin towards the end of year's post bullruns. If Bitcoin has already achieved its ATH for the season then it's better to cashout but if Bitcoin is going to surge further then HODling is sensible but how do you figure out as we cannot depend of predictions since it fails most of the time. What's your opinion?

Those people who are currently holding bitcoins have now divided into two categories those who hold a high and small amount of BTC. Those who are holding a huge amount of BTC have not decided yet on what to do with their BTC obviously because if they did so, we can see the price decrease in the market at a high rate. Those people who have less BTC in their wallets don't really matter whether they sold it right now or not.
5074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 22, 2020, 02:56:37 AM

True, if Andre Paras will successfully be signed by a team, and Kobe will soon enter in the PBA, I think we can compare them to the Ball Brothers in the NBA. Lavar Ball is the Benjie Paras.  Smiley

And if they are together in the same team with their current skills, they are competitive teams that have a higher percentage to go to the finals. I hope that they will go to teams that have some fewer star players so that they can fully use their strength and improve their plays. They can manage to acquire some new traits like improving their leadership skills in they landed on the same team together.
5075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Avoid US Based Exchanges Now? on: December 22, 2020, 02:30:46 AM
In terms of centralized exchanges do you think it would be better to use ones not based in the US now?
I'm thinking of avoiding Kraken and Coinbase completely now and just using ones not based in US such as Binance, Kucoin, Huobi.
Btw I'm not personally a US citizen and the KYC rules and regulation on transactions the US government doing seem like a huge hassle now, so would be good to avoid that.

I am not a US citizen as well, so we don't need to choose whether we use it or not. only those people who don't have their own local exchanges are using it or those who reside in the US. Because there are some countries who don't really need to use US-based exchanges cause they have their own like us and there are those who don't because their country has some tight rules about bitcoins.
5076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: December 21, 2020, 03:02:05 PM
Instead of making such easy fights, bith Canelo and GGG should have a third fight.
What do you mean by saying they "should have a third fight"?

They have already meet twice my friend. First their match ended with draw, second one was in favour of Canelo via split decision. Two years has passed and both fighters avoid each other with different excuses.

He already thinks the beat GGG fair and square so there's nothing to prove anymore.

He could think in that way if he would TKO/KO GGG, but after a draw and a split decision, saying nothing to prove I think is weak.
I think we will never see a third fight between them. At least at their prime. Maybe they will make an exhibition fight in past, but I doubt that this middleweight class boxer still be interested for the fans.

They could go for the 3rd match if they want to but if it ends like the last two fights, the fans will lose their respect for both fighters since most of the fans want to see a match that will satisfy their expectation. I think if they gonna fight like hungry boxers in the first round then the match would be interesting but if they continue to avoid to be hit then the match much likely the same than the last two fights.
5077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: December 21, 2020, 11:22:44 AM
many regretted when the price of bitcoin in March experienced a drastic drop and did not buy it, I also experienced the same thing, regretted not buying it when the price of bitcoin fell, and to buy bitcoin that was safe you could buy it in a large exchange and to store bitcoin safely , you can buy a hardware wallet, because storing bitcoins in a hardware wallet is considered quite safe but the price is quite expensive

Oh Yeah! I remember that was the month when we last saw the last decline in its price and when the price was rising after that, it never fell again and until now the price is still kicking up. no one really knows when will it stop. When the price was kept holding on $19,000, that was one of the indications that the price won't gonna fell anymore since it was able to held at that long. Now the price continues to increase and no one can tell when will it stop.
5078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Coins are currencies and most ICO's issue ERC 20 tokens, so... on: December 21, 2020, 09:38:19 AM
As Alt Coins are alternative currencies (alternative to Bitcoin) and most ICO's issue ERC 20 tokens (based on Ether) , which are your favourite tokens that you own or would like to (if not at ICO sale completion as yet) ?

What functions do they give, if any? Do you hold them purely for speculative gains? If they're required for use on a platform, will you use them on that platform or are you looking to hold and sell once that platform becomes bigger?

I currently own some DICE which are dividend tokens and have already distributed profits to token owners and are not needed on their dapp.

I give an honest answer to these questions, though I honestly support the project of the coins I currently hold, I don't really care about how they will do to make their project successful or not. as long as I can see the price in the market increasing every year, I will keep holding it until the target price has been reached and that's when I sold it just like what I did with the other coins I hold these recent years.
5079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 21, 2020, 08:51:41 AM
Guy, what do you think about Rudy Gobert’s 5-year, $205 million contracts?

I think this is one of the biggest contracts in the upcoming season right now, What do you think? does it worth it, to pay this big man that high?

5080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about the idea of this project? on: December 21, 2020, 06:56:39 AM
Go and write this down this project would fail. I love the idea and after looking at the project the model will fail with time. Ask yourself how the team come about the amount of total token that would be in circulation, once they start releasing their private sale tokens and they start selling them game over.

That's what I think too because of their massive supply their dream of further liquidity will be impossible in the future since they don't have any back up of any sort with their project. If we look at its same amount of supply, like for example ripples, they have some partnership with some big companies to continue their developments. They need such things to contribute to their project which will make the investors attracted and wanted to see their developments.
