5061  Economy / Gambling / Re: where is the best place to invest Btc on: March 05, 2016, 10:05:03 AM
is currently very difficult to find a place for investment that will really give you an advantage, because from my experience it will lead to a scam, but if there is still a reliable investment I also want to know  Grin

If you analyze well I think there are still some of gambling site which open investment. You just need to search and find a good review. I can recommend bitvest, just-dice (clam) and moneypot
Crypto-games also has a very intuitive invest option, and the added benefit that you can also invest various altcoins into relativily small bankrolls.
Meaning that you could still own a pretty big part of those bankrolls and make a decent profit.

These is their house edge, which will determine your profit in the long term:
Dice has a house edge of 0.8%.
Slot has a house edge of 1.97%.
Blackjack has a house edge of 1.253%.
Lottery has a house edge of 1.5%.

I have to add a warning though that you should always expect that they can dissapear and take all your money. Not saying they will, but I consider it a risky investment.
Also you could end up losing money due to variance.

5062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer to PayPal on: March 05, 2016, 09:58:06 AM
Yeah I forgot to add the link. :-/

I have to warn you though, a lot of sellers require you to provide some verification and/or have a certain number of transactions to prevent chargebacks.
Luckily there are also some sellers that do not require this, but you won't be able to trade large sums, usually under $100.
5063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin today and your original expectations on: March 05, 2016, 09:34:38 AM
I'm going to copy franky1's structure for my reply.

My assumptions in  early 2013:
- First I saw Bitcoin as a tool to solve some of the biggest world problems such as the economic crisis and redistribution of wealth
- Was expecting the bubble in late 2013 and I was also pretty confident that it would bounce back after the inevitable crash

My assumptions in 2016:
- I still think the future for Bitcoin is bright, but that there will be a lot of hurdles along the way that need to be solved, like most things mentioned in franky1's post
- I feel that the focus and expectations of the people involved in Bitcoin have changed, you can just see how different the forum is compared to a few years ago.
- Expecting growth, increasing value, despite all the obstacles
5064  Economy / Services / Re: Faucet Making Service on: March 05, 2016, 09:26:01 AM
how much experience do you need and what is the difficulty in operating a faucet, and what are the profit margins
would be interested if someone took a vouch copy.

You would need to basically post your website and manage your ad and ad placement..
Pretty much managing your funds and controlling you site against bots is what you would need.

once you get a high enough alexa and traffic you can get 10$ profit a day

How long will you offer support after the purchase? I would guess you'd have to be pretty active in deterring bots, not sure if I could do it on my own Smiley
I'd be willing to try if someone posts a review.
5065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer to PayPal on: March 05, 2016, 09:23:46 AM
Forgot to add that you can also find someone pretty easily on Paxful, but only go with someone who has 100+ positive reviews.
I've managed to do a couple of trades (Paypay to BTC and vice versa) in about half an hour tops.
5066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Convicts on: March 05, 2016, 09:20:19 AM
I got a restraining order to not come within 500 feet of The Inaba for posting a pic sourced from the Net of the master bathroom of the BTC-House that was taken two years prior to him moving in. Does that count since convicted in a court of law.

Ironically, my conviction stemmed from an innocent proof that BFL was using BitPay as an exchange instead of just a third-party payment processor to the tune of over U$10M via the infamous 1QAHVyRzkmD4j1pU5W89htZ3c6D6E7iWDs bitcoin wallet address. I'm not sure if the KC FBI was versed beforehand, but I did get a thank you from them, especially for the part where I showed that the BTC-House was paid for in full directly and indirectly related to the BWA, as was the 10 BTC The Inaba paid me due to losing a bet that BFL was kind enough to send me an IRS 1099-Misc form to lessen their tax liability, of which the IRS also thanked me for the info, albeit, again, I'm not sure if they too were versed beforehand.

One day, Paul Vernon of Cryptsy will be on your list, with possibly his wife and some of his employees.
I'm not if that would be qualified as serious enough to get on that list Wink
Pretty cool story though, lucky you only got a restraining order..
5067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 05, 2016, 08:57:53 AM
Bitcoin debit cards are especially usefull if you have a large amount of coins to spend and need to use services that don't accept Bitcoin.
Not worth it if you do not have that many coins, since the fees are pretty steep in general.

How many times do we have to tell you, the fucking fees are zero!  Is ZERO too much for you?
I've seen Bitcoin cards with fees. The fees are only zero for BitX. Other cards exist.

@RawDog: No need to be a complete asshole.. Like tommorisonwebdesign said, there are other cards, actually most cards have various fees, cards with ZERO fees are the exception.

Plus I went to their website and checked out their fees (BitX), and there are still some fees. OP did not state if he was talking about a virtual card or a physical card, there are always going to be fees when you order a physical card.

** POS (Point of Sale) Transactions - In-shop or online payments.

All I said was that it's pretty stupid to have a debit card if you only have like half a Bitcoin to spend, every few dollars in fees are going to add up.

5069  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AdBitPro Professional Bitcoin Ad Network "New" on: March 05, 2016, 08:40:33 AM
I will try this out for some of my affiliate links, I just hope there aren't too many bot clicks.
I will report back next week or so Smiley
5070  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WTakeDownBot - Satoshi Dice Bot - Forget Martingale Bots on: March 05, 2016, 07:05:13 AM
There are no dice sites with a 0% house edge, you cannot guarantee profit over the long term and you should not be claiming that your bot could do this.

I agree that there aren't any dice site with 0% house edge. Consider the long term period over which the player will definitely hit the loss to be a straight line of 100 as follows:

0         20      40       60       80      100
|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|

There is a possibilty that somewhere in that line the player will be able to hit successive wins for a particular number of rolls. Maybe from 20 to 40 or maybe 60 to 80. The bot is supposed to analyse which are these slots and learn how to predict such spots. I am in no way making any claims. The bot is still at its learning stage.
There lies the problem I'm having with your explanation, it is simply not possible to predict when you are going to have a winning streak.
That's what you mean with that, right? That the bot will be able to predict winning streaks?
5071  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Searching web developer for cooperation. on: March 05, 2016, 07:00:57 AM
Hi everybody.
I'm finding web developer who will help create me my idea!
Please contact with me only people who have their own projects.
It might be a good idea to give out a bit more info, so people can decide if it's worth it to pm you with an offer and such.
Anyway, good luck.
5072  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: March 05, 2016, 06:44:40 AM
It would be best to look at Bitcoin as a risky investment, I wouldn't use money that you couldn't afford losing. But I think it's pretty unlikely that we will see a huge price drop again to below $300.
Only time will tell...
5073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stress is relieving on: March 05, 2016, 06:31:08 AM
I wasn't too much affected by this, I've been using a 0.0002 fee for a while now and while it did still take longer to confirm, it wasn't that bad.
Still good to see that the backlog is mostly gone now Smiley
5074  Economy / Gambling / Re: where is the best place to invest Btc on: March 05, 2016, 05:04:29 AM
i was thinking about to make a online casino something with dice but not sure is this profitable?
It would be profitable in the long term, though you'd need to take variance into account and have a large enough bankroll to start out.
Limit the maximum win per bet also.
5075  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WTakeDownBot - Satoshi Dice Bot - Forget Martingale Bots on: March 05, 2016, 05:01:01 AM

My bot isn't about magic. It is created to provide the profits when it is run for a particular set of iterations for a particular "Win Chance". Of course conditional probablity is one part of the system but it is used to make the prediction model better as a supervised learning system. The idea is to remove the "luck" factor for a limited number of rolls (end of a session).
There are no dice sites with a 0% house edge, you cannot guarantee profit over the long term and you should not be claiming that your bot could do this.
5076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i just managed to make 75 $ on: March 05, 2016, 04:57:16 AM
thats the largest i have ever managed to make in such a short amount of time.
Like every tom, dick and harry i want to make some more money. I buffed a few of my other investments so i have around 50$ to invest. Any good ideas ?

I say do whatever you were doing that made you $75 in the first place. Don't want to recommend anything because nothing is safe as far as BTC investments are concerned.

This

Rinse and repeat.
Unless he made it by gambling Cheesy
But yeah, if it's something that's repeatable, just keep doing that I would say.
5077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First OpenBazaar transaction went through on: March 05, 2016, 04:46:12 AM
Can't wait till this is released!
It is realeased, they're on version 1.0.7 Smiley
You can check it out at https://openbazaar.org/
5078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan considers making bitcoin a legal currency on: March 05, 2016, 04:41:16 AM
I'm pretty happy with this news, it is true that this means that Bitcoin will be more regulated but it is the only way forward if Bitcoin is to become widely accepted.
This will certainly have a positive influence on the price in the future.
5079  Economy / Gambling / Re: █ DiceCo.in █ Grand JackPot : 987654 bits █ Major JackPot : 45678 bits █ on: March 05, 2016, 04:37:47 AM
The design looks pretty good actually, but I would prefer it if the jackpot amount was just displayed as a BTC value like 0.987654 BTC.
Just my opinion though...
5080  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any good Bitcoin and Altcoin managing software? on: March 05, 2016, 04:29:38 AM
I have used https://myaltcoins.com/ in the past, it works pretty good, you can just connect to exchanges and it will get the balance Smiley
Hope you'll find it useful.
