5061  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do we do with finance? (Taxation and Taxes on Bitcoin) on: January 09, 2021, 08:57:29 AM
It all depends on the country in which you live. For example, a law on digital financial assets came into force in Russia. Now it is allowed to own cryptocurrency, but it cannot be used as a means of payment. Now you need to file your digital currency ownership tax return. It is also assumed that citizens are required to report to the tax authorities if their transactions exceed the amount determined by the government.
True, it is not completely clear how they will monitor those who do not pay taxes.
5062  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2021 Q1) on: January 09, 2021, 07:54:26 AM
As I said, there are a lot of purchased accounts in the Philippine section. It's only a matter of time so that sooner or later they show themselves.
Buying accounts aren't prohibited but we must make sure that they will never abuse this, if these accounts were to be found on the same Campaign then tagged them.

Please remind me of at least one case when it was revealed that the account was purchased, and it was not marked with negative trust?
Therefore, yes, buying is not prohibited. But it is not welcome, and as a rule, a tag is always put on such accounts.
Participation or non-participation of purchased accounts in one subscription company is another story. Rather, it is closer to the multi-account rule.
5063  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2021 Q1) on: January 08, 2021, 01:35:27 PM

Someone can recherche more user "Kupid002" and user "arwin100" are also liar, cheater or sold account of same Account Farmer.

I agree with you. These accounts are also too suspicious. Generally in the Philippines department, there are a lot of accounts that have been purchased.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360322.msg14339282#msg14339282

I was initially surprised by the statement that the account could be broken twice.

i recieve an email that Darwin02 is once again hacked by that time i manage to lock the account .

I didn't post anything to recover it again its very painful to be hacked many times so i gave up on that  account and locked the account instead, so no one can use it and I don't have time yet to be back here.

The question involuntarily arises, what is wrong with the owner? What passwords does he come up with?
But after reading this message, everything falls into place.

Magkano kaya presyo nun?

Is the account still available?

As I said, there are a lot of purchased accounts in the Philippine section. It's only a matter of time so that sooner or later they show themselves.
5064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another sad story, 2.6 BTC lost. on: January 08, 2021, 12:36:36 PM
I am not an expert on such information, but are there no programs that allow data recovery from a formatted disk? Surely some specialists are ready to take on such work for some kind of remuneration.
In any case, as they say, the "law of meanness" worked
The "cherry on the cake" was the moment of entering the password, which was not there. I think that many of us have encountered similar situations. Trusting a password manager, or an encrypted flash drive that is almost impossible to recover, especially if some program like TrueCrypt is involved in encryption, is always somewhat dangerous.
Unfortunately, the Christmas present turned out to be too expensive, and all that remains is to express our sympathy to the victim.
5065  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need some help getting into bitcoin on: January 08, 2021, 11:50:39 AM
Today, news about the growth of bitcoins will not only be joyful for all holders, but it can also negatively affect those who hear about big profits and become nervous, trying to have time to invest their savings in bitcoin.
I see that the OP is one of those people. And you did well to come to the forum to consult with more experienced participants. News in my country often writes that some elderly old woman, who decided to increase her pension, gave all her savings to people who promised to help her and eventually disappeared, leaving her without money.
I understand everything, the excitement and bustle of people at such times have always been and will be. But OP, take the time to calm down and learn as much as possible about how to get it right. Take some time to read the forum. There is also a lot of information on the official bitcoin.org website. Pay attention to the first tip that is given there.

You will always have time to lose the accumulated value, it is much more difficult to restore everything later.
5066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the right time to reinvest into Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2021, 11:23:44 AM
The time for investing, I think, is long overdue. It is different to/from everyone. And everyone has different possibilities. But if you look at the history of the development of bitcoin, then the one that invested in it and did not sell it always wins. It doesn't matter when the entry point was. Of course, much today is afraid to start, thinking that after such a run, Bitcoin can collapse, as it did before. But start thinking positively. Too many events have happened to such a beautiful growth of Bitcoin. Perhaps you shouldn't wait, but it's time to start acting for those who still doubt. But draw your own conclusions. Even with this growth, more bitcoin is being bought than it is being sold. Ask yourself the question, how long will you wait while others buy everything?
5067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Discussion on: January 08, 2021, 10:29:36 AM
There are people who, by their very nature, love to take risks. Bitcoin is for people like that. If your friend is an adventurer who loves new trends, loves freedom, and does not count his funds from paycheck to paycheck, he will like Bitcoin. You can assess his abilities.
If we talk about investments, then I can say that any investment can always be risky. Whether you invest fiat money or cryptocurrency. I lost much more on investments, which seemed to guarantee high-interest rates, but over time the projects simply disappeared.
But, after going through my own mistakes, I believe more in bitcoin than in the money that I have entrusted to the bank.
5068  Economy / Speculation / Re: When The Inevitable Happens With The Dump - What Will Bitcoin Be Worth? on: January 08, 2021, 08:48:59 AM
In a recent interview with Bloomberg Bitpay commercial director Sonny Singh suggested that if investors start selling their bitcoins earlier than planned, the bitcoin rate could fall to $20,000. And also, because institutional investors purchased bitcoin at the level of $20,000, they will not let it fall below.
But in fact, bitcoin is so unpredictable that only he can know his future.

5070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gradually clinching to $40k on: January 07, 2021, 11:02:00 AM
Today's bitcoin price is being pushed by institutional investors who are looking to buy more and more bitcoins, thus putting pressure on the market and driving up the price. Analysts at Glassnode provided a report that only 22% of free bitcoins remained. Since institutional investors have bought most of the available bitcoin supply. Also, 78% of Bitcoin is illiquid.
https://twitter.com/glassnode/status/1344020551942238212

And thus, this suggests that the rally will continue, and bitcoin will be able to reach a price not only 40 thousand. But also a much higher price.
5071  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who the hell is doing this? on: January 07, 2021, 09:53:29 AM
While the lazy waits and is indignant, the one who loves to act buys. Even with the growth of bitcoin, there are and will be buyers today. The new ATH has already exceeded $37,600. And I don’t think that this price will scare anyone away from the purchase. The supply of bitcoin is limited and thus, interest in it will soon lead to the fact that it will become a key element in the financial system. Therefore, it is no surprise that bitcoin is being bought more and more by leading companies as an insurance asset.
5072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty on: January 07, 2021, 09:30:34 AM
If you have a lot of free time, then bounty will be useful for you to independently realize whether you need to do this or not.
If you value your time, then heed the advice of those who have not achieved success in such projects and today will never want to participate in them.
You are a beginner. Join the conversation on the forum. Read, study, ask everything that interests you. This way you can, after a while, independently understand what you need from this forum. You will have questions that are much more interesting than participation in bounty programs. You will rise in rank.
In the future, as a reward for your zeal for knowledge, subscription companies will be available where payment is made in bitcoin.
Participation in a bounty sometimes does not bring people practically anything, and in the future it causes people to be disappointed.
Try to learn from other people's mistakes.
5073  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2020 Q4) on: January 06, 2021, 11:49:15 AM

TGD is not my own I give it to friends of mine years ago in 2016  when he his still new just to help him  explore this forum and I don't have idea that he will continue building it and I have email use in that account before .you can even review our post history to check if we are the same person.

We often hear such words: "I gave the bill to a friend." Moreover, this account was a newbie.
How long does it take to register a new account? Or, alternatively, show a friend how to register an account?
Why would you give it? Sorry, this is too suspicious.

Huh??
5074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Excited about the rise, be wary about the scams, and loss on: January 06, 2021, 11:27:39 AM
Against the background of today's news about the growth of bitcoins, there are also more and more such news, talking about all sorts of scammers. Human nature is such that many believe something that is repeated many times. The Internet is full of advertisements that promise huge profits if you invest your money in a project, and in a few days, it will return the entire amount invested, even with interest.
The higher the popularity of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the more such scammers will be.
Some countries ban bitcoin because it cannot be regulated and the population is at risk of fraud and loss of their property.
Instead of prohibitions, it would be time to decide to educate the population on the rules of Internet security and literacy concerning cryptocurrencies. Otherwise, it is impossible to stop any scammers with their schemes. And also not stop the development and popularization of bitcoin.
5075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I miss the good old days on: January 06, 2021, 11:01:54 AM
You spent your bitcoins on your health. Can't this be a positive moment to raise your mood? It is always helpful to compare yourself to those who are worse off. There are people who have no money at all, and they also need medical care. How would you feel without bitcoins?
And today you have an excellent profession that allows you to work remotely. We can say that quarantine measures do not concern you. Start thinking positively, you have everything to start making money online again. Bitcoin is very popular today, that is, if you don't start buying it today, it will be even more expensive tomorrow.
You did a good job with your medical bills, now don't fold your arms, but with a lot of experience behind your back, just get up and move on.
5076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to spot an Investment Scam on: January 06, 2021, 09:59:55 AM
OP, you emphasize very strongly that beautiful girls can invite you. Let this be your first red flag. If you calmly think in cold blood, then no one will ever talk about their business, which brings good money. This is done only by scammers who rely on human greed.
Even with all the positive aspects of investing in a project, we have to check everything several times. There is a lot of information that can help protect your funds from theft. Therefore, the first rule is to always create a pause to check everything and think everything over. You never need to rush, whether a beautiful girl or, on the contrary, a handsome man invites you.
5077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowing about this forum will help more on: January 06, 2021, 09:45:27 AM
The forum has been around for many years, and whether you say it or not, anyone interested in cryptocurrency will sooner or later find out about this forum.
And what he meets here or what he hears from someone else will be very indicative. If we tell and invite newcomers here to earn money on the bounty, then, as a result, we get a lot of disappointed people. And if we begin to tell all the prospects that this forum can bring, where you can meet interesting people, or get very good knowledge and acquire a modern profession, then not only the newcomer will benefit, but the forum itself. Since we are always glad to people who are truly interested in the development of the crypto community, share their knowledge, or eagerly absorb it.
5078  Other / Meta / Re: What is Account Lock for Sequrity Reason? on: January 05, 2021, 01:59:37 PM
IIRC, accounts used to be locked automatically if you used this question to restore your account... It was a security feature that was added after the big database hack that happened around 2015 (IIRC, my memory is quite rusty). After the database was leaked, everybody who bought a copy could use the secret question to try to steal any account, so the admin decided to disable the feature and lock any account that attempted to use the secret question so hackers could not steal it...
OP claims he never tried to restore his account with the secret question. He logged into his account back in 2018. I wonder why he didn't see the account locked notification back then?! The database leak happened in 2015, he should have seen the same notification in 2018 as well right?

@OP Is this the first time you try to recover your account or did you try it sometimes in 2018 as well?

I noticed that the current account the OP is accessing is also inactive for quite some time.
The OP was able to log into the newbie account and was unable to log into the legend account. The second account was created a long time ago. It is possible that even then some questions arose for which there was a need for a second account. After all, the nickname has remained the same.
5079  Other / Meta / Re: Multiaccounting? on: January 05, 2021, 01:38:40 PM
Sometimes people need to have two forum accounts. And this is sometimes due to the fact that one is used on a mobile phone, the other on a computer, or, for example, one is needed at home, and the second can be used at work.
I also agree with you that numerous accounts that belong to the same person are suspicious. Although this is not prohibited.
And if this is hidden, then most often these accounts are used to make money. But as you can see, people who are too greedy and not tidy, who violate the rules of bounty or subscription campaigns, are marked with negative trust. And subsequently, many lose the opportunity to participate in reward programs.
Too greedy accounts that were previously banned are still successfully banned.
Everything works like a clock, right and right. Broke the rules, get a red tag or ban There are no violations, no claims appear.
5080  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide]: How and Where to Report Phishing Websites on: January 05, 2021, 06:38:59 AM
I will add that many users sometimes will not be able to immediately understand which site they are on. There are many tutorials on how to detect phishing sites, I also want to add a simple check from Google. Here you can check whether the site contains dangerous elements or not
